  • B2F(Business to Family)플랫폼은 각 가정의 네트워크 시스템에 관리 가능한 서비스를 제공하고, 이러한 서비스의 운영 플랫폼인 서비스 게이트웨이는 원격에서 관리할 수 있는 서비스 응용 소프트웨어를 실행할 수 있는 환경을 제공하며, 이에 대한 라이프 사이클을 관리할 수 있게 하는 소프트웨어 프레임워크이다. 이를 기반으로 하는 새로운 서비스를 공급함으로써 부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 인프라 환경을 제공할 수 있는 B2F플랫폼에 대한 요구 사항 분석과 구조에 대하여 서술하였다.

  • In modern industrial society, the importance of inter enterprise collaboration is more emphasizing for the survival of companies and strengthening its competitiveness. The studies using IT systems effect on inter-enterprise collaboration are already taken several times. However, there is not much systematic research to evaluate the informatization level of B2B collaboration. In this paper, we examined the level of B2B collaboration and the use of IT systems for each business area in small and medium-sized collaborative enterprise which are classified into shipbuilding, automobile, and electronic industry. We verified that the level of collaboration between companies are significant to the level of IT use for each business area by regression analysis. The conclusion of this study is that the level of B2B collaboration and the use of IT systems for each business area are different.

  • The purpose of this research is to provide strategic guidelines for EDI transaction companies to migrate from EDI system to Web-based e-Business frameworks such as ebXML, RosettaNet and Web Services. Due to various limitations of EDI and evolution of Web technologies, a lot of firms want to adopt Internet based B2B standards However, they are seeking ways of migrating from EDI to open and public B2B frameworks smoothly not giving up existing EDI system at a time. Therefore, it is very important to provide migration strategies and guidelines for companies to migrate from EDI system to Web-based B2B frameworks. The strategic guidelines provided in this paper can be used as a practical guidance in developing migration strategies of EDI companies.

  • According to e-business has been used commonly, many companies do e-business deal for B2B, B2C, etc based on internet. To support web-based e-business, companies must construct the homepage and shopping-mall that is able to advertise a publicity work about their companies to customer. In this paper, we classified the components used in the homepage and shopping-mall development about e-business and designed a management system for supporting environment that is searched, updated, edited, etc. For an application example, we analyzed a purchasing process of products by domain analysis and abstracted the components needed. Because this component management system manages components efficiently, it will come in pretty handy in web-based system development.

  • 기업의 웹사이트는 기업의 환경 변화를 주도하는 관문으로서의 역할을 하고 있다. 그러나 현재 기업의 웹사이트 평가지표에 대한 연구는 진행되지 않고 연구의 대부분이 웹사이트의 외형적인 측면들을 평가하고 있다. 특히 e-Biz 측면에서 전자상거래 주체인 B2B(Business to Business) 웹사이트에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어 지지 않고 있어, 기업 관점의 웹사이트 평가와 B2B 웹사이트에 대한 평가지표 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 평가지표 KPI(Key Performance Indicator)를 도출하고, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 기법으로 웹사이트 평가 연구를 통하여 평가지표를 추출한 후 B2B에 적용함으로써 각 지표들의 중요도 및 가중치의 차이를 살펴본다. 이를 통해 기업과 기업간에 전자상거래 규모의 확대에 따른 의사결정과 B2B 웹사이트를 보다 쉽게 설계 할 수 있는 명확한 기준을 제시하였다.

  • This paper aims at the design of collaborative architecture for business to business (B2B) applications based on Web service protocol. As different business processes should be interfaced in the B2B environment collaboration is important fur the success of B2B implementation. For the development tools, XML, Web services and ASP.NET were adopted Web services are emerging to provide a systematic and extensible framework for application-to-application interaction. The Web services framework is divided into three areas; communication protocols, service descriptions and Web discovery. Web services such as SOAP, WSDL and UDDI correspond to the three areas respectively. ASP.NET is utilized which corresponds to the component and service set located in the top layer of .NET. For the service of product category and product details, Web service architecture was implemented based upon the SQL server database.

  • 기업간 전자상거래를 위한 국제표준인 ebXML 은 ebBPSS(ebXML Business Process Specification Schema)와 CPA(Collaboration Protocol Profile)에 기반하여 거래 당사자들이 협업 형태의 업무 처리 절차에 따라 문서 및 데이터를 주고 받을 수 있도록 해 준다. 거래 당사자들의 내부 업무처리 시스템에 연동되어 B2B 업무를 처리할 수 있도록 해주는 시스템을 BSI(Business Service Interface)라 하며, 이는 트랜잭션 관리, 업무 프로세스의 코레오그래피(Choreography), 문서 관리, 보안 관리 등 협업과 관련된 대부분의 역할을 수행하게 된다. 기업간 협업에 있어 가장 중요한 사항 중 하나는 어떤 상황에서도 양쪽의 협업상태 정보는 일관성을 유지해야 한다는 것이다. 이는 거래의 신뢰도를 확보하기 위한 필수사항이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 ebXML 프로토콜에 따라 거래행위시 협업상태 정보가 양측 거래파트너에서 각기 다르게 나타날 수 있는 상황을 살펴 보고 이에 따른 BSI 시스템의 대처방안에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

  • Models and Strategies for Network Operator's B2B Ecommerce The B2B ecommerce market is one of the fastest growing areas in the telecom industry. However network operators have been slow to enter the arena, Network operator have been held back by their general unsurety about the Internet business. Network operators'core business(the supply of connectivity and transport service) is becoming unprofitable. As a result they are looking to diversify into areas where margins are higher. B2B ecommerce offers them a major way to achieve this. It is possible to identify various business models for offering ecommerce services to end user, ranging from the provision of complete packaged applications to the implementation and management of customized ecommerce solution. In this study the three main approaches available to network operators are the traditional IT outsourcing model, the ASP model and the community builder model.

Uncertainty Avoidance, Individualism and the Readiness of Business-to-Consumer E-commerce

  • This study aims to test whether and to what extend national culture affects the readiness of business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce across the world. We regress two sets of data at national level: (1) the ratings of two main dimensions of Hofstede's national culture framework, uncertainty avoidance and individualism, and (2) UTCTAD B2C e-commerce index value. A sample of 83 countries was tested in this study. Several control variables at national level are included in our regression model. We find that these two cultural dimensions have an effect on the readiness of B2C e-commerce in various ways. We find that countries with high individualism score have high index value of B2C e-commerce development. We discuss the implications of these findings for B2C e-commerce developing strategies. We then call for designing relative policies with full consideration on national culture to promote the development of B2C e-commerce. In addition, we identify the limitations of the study and propose recommendations for future research. This study is the first one to use UNCTAD data on B2C e-commerce to explore the relationships between two dimensions of Hofstede's national culture and the readiness of B2C e-commerce and adds to the knowledge of literature in this research field.
