도토리묵가루를 첨가한 도토리떡(像實餠)의 품질특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality Properties of Dotoridduck added with Acorn Jelly Powder)

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality characteristics of Dotoridduck (acorn rice cake) prepared by the addition of acorn jelly powder(0%, l0%, 20%, 30%, 40%). In the results of sensory evaluation for Dotoridduck, the L value decreased and a and b values increased as the addition of acorn jelly powder increased. The hardness and chewiness were evaluated better as the amount of acorn jelly powder decreased. The bitterness increased as the amount of acorn jelly powder increased. Dotoridduck with 10% and 20% acorn jelly powder showed the highest acceptance. In the mechanical evaluation, control samples with 0% acorn jelly powder showed higher scores in the hardness, cohesiveness, gumminess, and chewiness than the ones with acorn jel]y powder, however, the ones with 40% acorn jelly powder were the highest in the adhesiveness and springiness. The fracturability was higher in the samples with 10% acorn jelly powder.

연잎과 연자육 아이스크림 개발 (Development of Ice Cream Prepared Lotus(Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner) Leaf and Seeds)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the content attributes and sensory characteristics of ice cream flavored with lotus leaf and seeds (Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner). Analysis of freeze dried lotus leaf powder produced the following technical results: Freeze dried lotus leaf powder contained moisture 12.2, crude protein 5.9, crude fat 1.2, crude ash 7.0, crude fiber 13.4g/100mg; raw lotus seed powder contained moisture 65.0, crude protein 8.2, crude fat 0.3, crude ash 1.0, crude fiber 10.8g/100mg; freeze dried lotus seed powder contained moisture 14.0, crude protein 17.1, crude fat 1.9, crude ash 4.0, crude fiber 2.8g/100mg. Lotus seed was processed by 4 methods: freeze dried, roasted, freeze dried peeled inner layer, cooked cut peeled inner layer. Analysis of the color value produced the following technical results: freeze dried lotus leaf powder were L(lightness) 14.5, a(redness) 4.4, b(yellowness) 24.0; freeze dried lotus seed powder L 57.3, a 14.4, b 12.0; roasted lotus seed powder L 52.7, a 22.5, b 11.9; freeze dried lotus seed peeled inner layer L 60.0, a 1.4, b 12.3. Proportional lotus ingredients used for ice cream were 1%, 3%, 5%, 7%, 10% for lotus leaves and 1%, 3%, 5% for lotus seeds. The maximum over run ratio for lotus leaf ice cream was 45.3~56.9% at 20~25 minutes operating time. Over run was significantly decreased by increasing the contents of lotus leaf powder. A maximum over run ratio for lotus seed ice cream was 46.1~54.3% at 20~25 operating time. Over run was not significantly different based on content of lotus leaf versus lotus seed. Sensory evaluation of lotus leaf ice cream produced the following results: the highest score was for color of 4.42 and the lowest score was for sweetness of 3.30. The total mean score significantly decreased by increasing the content of lotus leaf powder. Sensory evaluation of lotus seed ice cream produced the following results: the highest score was for cooked cut peeled inner layer type and the lowest was for freeze dried type 3.86. The sensory scores were not significantly different based on the content of lotus seed. Texture was evaluated highest with a rating of 4.21 and the taste was evaluated lowest with a rating of 3.68 For whole evaluation. This study concluded that lotus leaf ice cream demonstrates relative strength in terms of color and taste, and a relative weakness in terms of over run and sweetness. Suitable content of lotus leaf ranged from 1~5%. The lotus seed processed by the cooked cut peeled inner layer method received a higher rating than dried powder for lotus seed ice cream.

$TiB_2$-SiC 복합재료의 소결거동 (Sintering Behavior of $TiB_2$-SiC Composites)

  • The effect of SiC addition on sintering behaviors and microstructures of TiB2 ceramics were studied. The sintering of TiB2 was limited due to the surface diffusion and rapid grain growth at high temperature. However the addition of SiC to TiB2 ceramics improved the densification to above 99% of the theoretical density. The sintering of TiB2-SiC composite starts at 120$0^{\circ}C$ with the melting of the oxides in particle surface as impurities. After the reduction of the oxide by additional cabon at above 140$0^{\circ}C$, the grain boundary diffusion through the interface of TiB2-SiC play an important role. TEM observation showed neither chemical reactions nor other phases formed at the TiB2-SiC interfaces but the microcracks were observed due to the mismatch of thermal expansion between TiB2-SiC.

페로니켈 슬래그 미분말을 이용한 유동성 뒤채움재 특성 (Characterization of Flowable Fill with Ferro-Nickel Slag Dust)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 스테인레스 강 제조시 발생하는 페로니켈 슬래그를 파쇄한 미분말을 이용하여 지하매설물용 유동성 뒤채움재로 활용하기 위한 것이다. 페로니켈 슬래그 미분말을 이용한 유동성 뒤채움재의 최적배합설계를 수행하였다. 실험용 조합은 Case A (모래), Case B (흙) 등 2개 조합을 이용하였다. Case A의 최적배합비는 모래(58.4%), 페로니켈 슬래그 미분말 (21.6%), 시멘트(1.8%), 물(18.2%)이고, Case B의 최적배합비는 흙(53.0%), 페로니켈 슬래그 미분말 (20.0%), 시멘트(1.7%), 물(25.3%)로 결정되었다. 전체적으로 일반모래에 페로니켈슬래그 미분말을 혼합한 Case A의 일축압축강도가 흙을 이용한 Case B에 비해 상대적으로 크게 나타났다. 또한, 시편의 강도는 양생시간에 따라 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다. 전체적으로 양생시간에 따라 일축압축강도가 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 또한, 일반모래를 주재료로 이용한 유동성뒤채움재의 일축압축강도가 흙을 주재료로 이용한 혼합재료에 비해 상대적으로 크게 나타났다. Case A의 경우 양생시간 7일, 14일 및 28일에 따른 일축압축강도의 범위는 각각 0.17-0.33 MPa, 0.21-0.39 MPa, 0.19-0.40 MPa 수준으로 평가되었다. 실험결과로부터 Case A3 정도면 FNS미분말과 시멘트 혼합비율 가장 적정한 것으로 판단되었다. 흙을 주재료로 이용한 Case B의 경우도 Case A와 전체적으로 유사한 경향을 나타냈다. FNS미분말의 환경유해성 평가를 위한 용출시험결과, 환경에 유해한 물질의 용출은 없는 것으로 나타났다.

생균제의 부형제(운반체)로서의 난각분말의 특성 (Characteristics of Eggshell Powder as Carriers of Probiotics)

  • 계란 가공 부산물인 난각(ES: Eggshell)은 탄산칼슘 함량이 높아 사료에 첨가하여 칼슘원으로 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ES를 생균제의 부형제인 운반체로서 활용 가능성을 처음으로 시도하였다. L. plantarum을 대두박(SBM: Soybean meal), 난각조각(ESL: Eggshell powder with large particles), 난각미세분말(ESF: Eggshell powder with fine particles), 그리고 이들의 복합운반체인 SBM+ESL과 SBM+ESF에 생균제를 흡착시켜 그 부착상태를 주사전자현미경으로 확인하였다. 이 중 복합운반체인 SBM+ESF는 상온에서 4주 동안 pH 7~8을 유지하면서 L. plantarum의 가장 높은 생존율을 보였다. 본 연구에 사용한 모든 생균제들은 보존기간 동안 $4^{\circ}C$에서는 높은 생존율을 보였다. $30^{\circ}C$에서는 유산균수는 크게 감소하였으나, B. licheniformis는 높은 생존율을 유지하였고 B. subtilis, B. amyloliquefaciens와 S. cerevisiae는 $2{\log}_{10}$ (CFU/g)정도 감소하였다. 상기 연구결과는 사료의 칼슘원으로 이용되는 난각미세분말(ESF)을 대두박과 혼합하여 사용하면 B. licheniformis를 비롯한 일부 생균제의 생존성을 향상시켜 부형제(운반체)로도 사용할 수 있음을 밝혔다.

In-situ Synthesis of Cu-TiB2 Nanocomposite by MA/SPS

  • Nano-sized $TiB_2$ was in situ synthesized in copper matrix through self-propagating high temperature synthesis (SHS) with high-energy ball milled Ti-B-Cu elemental mixtures as powder precursors. The size of $TiB_2$ particles in the product of SHS reaction decreases with time of preliminary mechanical treatment ranging from 1 in untreated mixture to 0.1 in mixtures milled for 3 min. Subsequent mechanical treatment of the product of SHS reaction allowed the $TiB_2$ particles to be reduced down to 30-50 nm. Microstructural change of $TiB_2$-Cu nanocomposite during spark plasma sintering (SPS) was also investigated. Under simultaneous action of pressure, temperature and electric current, titanium diboride nanoparticles distributed in copper matrix move, agglomerate and form a interpenetrating phase composite with a fine-grained skeleton.

모합금의 균질화처리가 HDDR 처리된 Nd-Fe-Ga-Nb-B 합금의 자기적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Homogenization Treatment on Magnetic Properties of HDDR Treated Nd-Fe-Ga-Nb-B Alloy)

  • HDDR treated anisotropic Nd-Fe-B powders have been widely used, due to their excellent magnetic properties, especially for sheet motors and sunroof motors of hybrid and electric vehicles. Final microstructure and coercivity of such Nd-Fe-B powders depend on the state of starting mother alloys, so additional homogenization treatment is required for improving magnetic properties of them. In this study, a homogenization treatment was performed at $900\sim1140^{\circ}C$ in order to control the grain size and Nd-rich phase distribution, and at the same time to improve coercivity of the HDDR treated magnetic powders. FE-SEM was used for observing grain size of the HDDR treated powder and EPMA was employed to observe distribution of Nd-rich phase. Magnetic properties were analyzed with a vibrating sample magnetometer.

수소반응속도 제어에 의한 Nd-Fe-B-Ga-Nb 합금의 미세조직 이방화율 향상에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Microstructural Anisotropy of Nd-Fe-B-Ga-Nb Alloy by the Control of Hydrogen Reaction)

  • HDDR treated anisotropic Nd-Fe-B powders have been widely used for the sheet motors and the sunroof motors of hybrid or electric vehicles, due to their excellent magnetic properties. Microstructural alignment of HDDR treated powders are mostly depending on the hydrogen reaction in disproportionation step, so the specific method to control hydrogenation reaction is required for improving magnetic properties. In disproportionation step, hydrogenation pressure and reaction time were controlled in the range of 0.15~1.0 atm for 15~180 min in order to control the micorstructural alignment of $Nd_2Fe_{14}B$ phase and, at the same time, to improve remanence of HDDR treated magnet powders. In this study, we could obtain a well aligned anisotropic Nd-Fe-B-Ga-Nb alloy powder having high remanence of 12 kG by reducing hydrogen pressure down to 0.3 atm in disproportionation step.

Nonlocality effects of MgB2 superconductor

  • Magnetic properties of MgB2 superconducting powder were investigated. M(H), the magnetic field H dependence of magnetization M, was measured and analyzed using a PPMS instrument. The MgB2 superconducting powder showed high critical current density Jc > ~ 107 A/cm2 and clean limit superconducting properties. The equilibrium magnetization Meq properties of MgB2 powders exhibiting various superconducting properties were studied. We find that the equilibrium magnetization Meq(H) properties of MgB2 powders showing conventional BCS properties deviate from the predictions of the standard local-London theory at temperatures below T = 19 K and are in good agreement with the generalized nonlocal-London theory. Nonlocal-London analysis was used to determine and analyze the nonlocal parameters. The temperature dependence of the London penetration depth values λ(T) was studied.

  • NdFeB magnets have been positioned as the core materials in advanced technologies such as MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), FA (factory automation system), robot, motors, and so on based on the highest magnetic properties. To effectively improve the refined microstructure, the plastic deformation has been known as the good alternatives by the recrystallization. However, it has been regarded as being impossible because of the few slip systems in the RE-Fe-B magnets at room temperature. The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of control of grain refinement and magnetic anisotropy of NdFeB alloy powder by the severe plastic deformation. The NdFeB magnet powder was fabricated by gas atomization process, and the powder was pre-compacted at high temperature. The pre-compacted billets were deformed by HPT (high pressure torsion), and then the deformed billets were observed microstructure and magnetic properties. After the HPT process at room temperature, the grain size decreased with increasing because of the melted Nd-rich phase, and the anisotropy of Nd2Fe14B phase was formed after the HPT process.
