해상운송계약(海上運送契約)에서 선화증권(船貨證券) 이로조항(離路條項)의 유효성(有效性)에 관한 고찰(考察) (A Study on the Validity of the Deviation Clause of B/L in the Contract for the Carriage of Goods by Sea)

  • The clauses of bill of lading(B/L) consist of the terms of contract for the carriage of goods by sea because of clauses of B/L by the mutual agreement of contracting parties. There are some exempted cause of deviation clause in B/L for specific reasons. Then deviation clauses are influenced by Rules of international carriage of goods by sea, because the international rules become the governing law of contract for the carriage of goods by sea. The problem of deviation clauses in B/L is stipulated as follows. "It shall be prerequisite to the Merchant' claim for damages on account of deviation that the merchant's insurance shall first have been cancelled on account of alleged deviation. No deviation shall oust the right to limit liability or damages, and the Carrier shall always be entitled to the full benefit of all privileges, rights and immunities contained in this Bill of Lading and incorporated tariffs." This stipulation should be adjusted according to the confirmed cases, otherwise it will be invalid according to the Hague Rules and Hamburg rules. The sphere of a reasonable deviation in the deviation clause should be interpreted in the connection with the designed voyage and the commercial object of contract for the carriage of goods by sea and the deviation become valid unless the policy, the general object of international rules or the true intention of contracting parties has violated.

Molecular Cloning of Chicken Major Histocompatibility Complex Class II Molecules

  • The chicken major histocompatibility complex (MHC), the B complex, is beginning to be analyzed at the DNA level. Inbred lines of chickens have been reported to possess 3~5 MHC class II genes. To further analyzed the molecular structure of the chicken MHC class II genes, cDNA clones coding for chicken MHC class II (B-L) ${\beta}$ chain molecules were isolated from chicken spleen and liver. Tissue-specific transcription of B-L ${\beta}$genes was studied by Northern blot analysis. A high level of expression was detected for spleen poly(A)$^+$ RNA whereas a faint signal was detected for liver poly(A)$^+$ RNA. Twenty-nine cDNA clones were isolated from the spleen and eight cDNA clones were isolated from the liver. Based on restriction maps, most clones could be clustered into one family of genes. Four cDNA clones were sequenced (S7, S10 and S19 from the spleen and L1, which was identical to S19, from the liver). Complete amino acid sequences of B-L ${\beta}$ chain molecules were predicated from the nucleotide sequences of the cDNA clones. Although both the nature and the location of the conserved residues were similar in chicken and mammalian sequences, some species-specific differences were found, suggesting that the structures of the B-L molecules are similar, but not identical to their mammalian counterparts.

  • Recently, developments of device using characteristics of ceramics as a new technical material is in progress. While doing so, Ultrasonic motor which is a part of research & flat-type $L_1-B_8$ mode Ultrasonic motor and measured the operation characteristics of its. The size of USM is 80*20*1.5[$mm{^1}$](length*width*thickness) and is constructed with stator by piezo-ceramics and stainless elastic body and rotator by bearings. As results of experiments, the fastest speed of revolution($\upsilon$), the maximum torque(T) and the efficiency($\eta$) were 37.5[cm/sec], 5.0[mN$\cdot$M] and 1.17[%] respectively when 27.9[kHz], 150[gf], 50[V] were applied. SO, we think this flat-type $L{_1}-B{_8}$ mode Ultrasonic motor is able to be used for applications in forwarding device of a paper or electric card so on. Development of Vaccinium uliginosum L. extracts for whitening & anti-wrinkle functional food

  • This study is peformed to investigate the effect of water extract from Vaccinium uliginosum L., on melanin production in B 16 melanoma cells, procollagen production and matrix metalloproteinase-1(MMP-1) inhibition in human fibroblast cells. One hundred grams of the Vaccinium uliginosum L. was extracted with 2000 mL of water($90^{\circ}C$, 16h, 2times). The water extracts were lyophilized and stored at $4^{\circ}C$ until used. Dry weight yields of extracts of Vaccinium uliginosum L. were $3\%$(w/w). Extracts from Vaccinium uliginosum L. showed scavenger activities on DPPH radical, superoxide anion radical, hydroxyl radical, hydrogen peroxide and singlet oxygen radical. And these substances inhibited release of cyiokines from human keratinocyte after UV B exposure. Therefore we confirmed that extracts from Vaccinium uliginosum L. had antioxidative effect. These substances inhibited purified tyrosinase activity and melanogenesis in B 16 melanoma cells treated/untreated IL-$1{\alpha}$. Moreover this extract stimulated procollagen production and inhibited MMP-1 production in human fibroblast cells treated/untreated IL-$1{\beta}$. Therefore we confirmed that extracts from Vaccinium uliginosum L. had whitening effect. And these substances decreased degree of wrinkle in hairless mouse skin that induced by UV B irradiation. Therefore we confirmed that extracts from Vaccinium uliginosum L. had anti-wrinkle effect. From the above results, it is possible that Vaccinium uliginosum L. may be developed to be an anti-melanogenesis agent and anti-wrinkle agent.

Clostridium autoethanogenum을 이용한 합성가스 발효에 대한 비타민과 황 공급원의 영향 (Effect of Vitamin and Sulfur Sources on Syngas Fermentation Using Clostridium autoethanogenum)

  • 이 연구에서는 합성가스를 기질로 사용하는 Clostridium autoethanogenum 배양 공정에서 에탄올 생산성 향상을 위하여 배지 성분의 농도가 균주 성장과 에탄올 생산에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. C. autoethanogenum 배양에 사용되는 기본 배지 구성 성분 중 비타민 종류인 D-Ca-pantothenate, vitamin B12와 황 공급원인 sodium sulfide를 조사 대상 성분으로 선정하여 이 성분들의 농도를 달리하였을 때 균주 성장과 에탄올 생산에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. D-Ca-pantothenate는 0.5, 5, 50, 500 mg/L 농도를 시험하였으며 0.5 mg/L에서 에탄올 생산량이 약간 증가하는 경향을 보였지만 시험한 농도 범위에서 균주의 성장이나 에탄올 생산에 대한 주목할 만한 영향은 관찰되지 않았다. Vitamin B12는 0.1, 1.0, 10, 100 mg/L의 농도범위에서 균주 성장과 에탄올 생산에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였으며, 0.1 mg/L 농도에서 에탄올 생산농도가 일반적 기본배지 농도인 10 mg/L에서보다 245% 증가되는 것을 확인하였다. Sodium sulfide는 0.5, 5, 10 g/L 농도범위에서 균주 성장과 에탄올 생산에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며, 기본배지의 사용농도인 0.5 g/L을 초과하여 과잉 공급하였을 때, 균주 성장 저해 현상이 관찰되었다. 결과적으로 연구에 사용된 세 가지 배지 성분 중, D-Ca-pantothenate와 sodium sulfide는 배지 내 성분 농도에 따른 에탄올 생산농도 향상을 이루지 못하였으나, vitamin B12는 기본 배지 내 일반적인 농도의 1/100을 사용함으로써 에탄올 생산농도 향상을 이룰 수 있었다.

밀 유전 배경에서 호밀 B 염색체가 감수분열 염색체 접합에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Rye B chromosome on Meiotic Chromosome Association in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genetic Background)

  • 이 연구에서는 밀 첨가 계통의 생식세포분열시, 호밀 B 염색체가 염색체 접합에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 밀 첨가 계통은 동조관계에 있는 Leymus mollis와 L. racemosus 염색체를 각각 하나씩 가지고 있다. 밀의 유전적 배경에서 두 Leymus염색체의 이동은 genomic in situ hybridization에 의하여 확인되었다. 호밀 B 염색체를 가지고 있지 않은 밀 첨가 계통의 생식세포 제1중기 분열기에 두 Leymus 염색체의 대부분은 일가염색체를 보였다(98.1 ± 0.5%). 반면에 호밀 B 염색체를 가지고 있는 밀 첨가 계통에서 Leymus 이가염색체의 빈도(10.3 ± 0.2%)는 호밀 B 염색체를 가지고 있지 않은 밀 첨가 계통의 Leymus이가염색체의 빈도(1.9 ± 0.5%)보다 높았다. 호밀 B 염색체를 가지고 있지 않은 밀 첨가 계통에서는 비정상적인 구조를 가지고 있는 이가염색체가 관찰되었다. 반면, 비록 매우 낮은 빈도이지만 호밀 B 염색체를 가지고 있는 밀 첨가 계통에서는 정상적인 형태를 보이는 이가염색체가 확인되었다. 호밀 B 염색체의 영향은 또한 보통밀과 L. racemosus염색체 사이의 이가염색체의 형성을 유도하였으며, 보통밀과 L. mollis 염색체 사이의 삼가염색체의 형성도 유도하였다. 뿐만 아니라 보통밀 염색체 사이에서 초과 교차가 일어나는 것을 확인하였으며, 이러한 현상으로 원, 막대, 그리고 후라이팬 모양의 일반적인 이가염색체의 형태가 아닌 막대모양이나 응축된 형태의 보통밀 이가염색체가 확인되었다.

  • Quinoxaline 4-oxide 10을 2-chloroacrylonitrile과 반응시켜 1,3-쌍극성 고리화 첨가반응으로 2,3-dihydro-1H-1,2-diazepino[3,4-b]quinoxaline류 11a, b를 합성하였고, 이들을 2,3,4,6-tetrahydro-1H-1,2-diazepino-[3,4-b]quinoxaline 12로 변환시켰다. 그리고 ??嵐?11a를 아세트산/물 용매에서 SeO2와 반응시켜서 고리변환에 의해 1,4-dihydro-4-oxopyridazino[3,4-b]quinoxaline 13을 합성하였다.

K대역용 인터디지털 대역통과 필터분석 (The Analysis of Interdigital Bandpass Filter for K-band)

  • 본 논문에서는 K대역 무궁화 위성통신 하향변환기에 적용을 위한 대역통과 필터를 설계하였다. 중심 주파수가 19.6GHz에서 25~30%대역만을 통과시키기 위해 6차 인터디지털 대역통과 필터를 마이크로 스트립라인으로 구성하였다. 최적화 과정을 통한 모의실험 결과 통과대역 주파수에서 삽입손실은 -0.275dB, 반사계수는 -20.95dB을 보였다. 실제 제작후 측정결과 중심주파수는 19.15GHz 삽입손실은 -4.1dB, 입력반사계수는 -l5dB, 출력반사계수는 -l6dB임을 확인하였다.

  • Let A be an abelian variety defined over a number field K and let L be a finite Galois extension of K. Let III(A/K) and III(A/L) denote, respectively, the Tate-Shafarevich groups of A over K and over L. Let $Res_{L/K}(A)$ be the restriction of scalars of A from L to K and let B be an abelian subvariety of $Res_{L/K}(A)$ defined over K. Assuming that III(A/L) is finite, we compute [III(B/K)][III(C/K)]/[III(A/L)], where [X] is the order of a finite abelian group X and the abelian variety C is defined by the exact sequence defined over K $0{\longrightarrow}B{\longrightarrow}Res_{L/K}(A){\longrightarrow}C{\longrightarrow}0$.

  • Because magnets fabricated using Nd-Fe-B exhibit excellent magnetic properties, this novel material is used in various high-tech industries. However, because of the brittleness and low formability of Nd-Fe-B magnets, the design freedom of shapes for improving the performance is limited based on conventional tooling and postprocessing. Laser-powder bed fusion (L-PBF), the most famous additive manufacturing (AM) technique, has recently emerged as a novel process for producing geometrically complex shapes of Nd-Fe-B parts owing to its high precision and good spatial resolution. However, because of the repeated thermal shock applied to the materials during L-PBF, it is difficult to fabricate a dense Nd-Fe-B magnet. In this study, a high-density (>96%) Nd-Fe-B magnet is successfully fabricated by minimizing the thermal residual stress caused by substrate heating during L-PBF.
