The purpose of this study was to examine changes in students' awareness of online classes in university education over the three years from 2020 to 2022 during the COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this, various aspects of online classes, including self-directed learning, interaction (between instructors and learners, and among learners), evaluation of the learning process and outcomes, and the learning environment and control of learning, were analyzed for changes from 2020 to 2022. The study included 534 university students enrolled in University A who participated in online classes in both 2020 and 2021. The results indicated that there was no significant difference in the awareness of self-directed learning, but significant differences were found in the awareness of interaction, evaluation of the learning process and outcomes, and the challenge related to learning environment and control of learning in online classes, which were higher in 2021 and 2022 than in 2020. Additionally, detailed changes in awareness of online classes showed significant differences in specific aspects of awareness in university online classes. In summary, students' awareness of online classes improved in 2021 and 2022 compared to 2020, as learners adapted to online classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, it was observed that difficulties in the challenge related to learning environment and control of learning were overcome in 2021. Based on these research findings, several implications for improving the design and operating strategies of effective online classes in future university education were proposed.

Purpose: To identify the relationship between care worker's awareness of human rights and the compliance of caring behaviors among long-term care workers, and to identify factors affecting compliance with caring behaviors. Methods: Using self-report questionnaires, data were collected from 153 long-term care workers between October 4th and October 20th, 2019. Collected data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. Results: The data indicate a difference in awareness of human rights according to: the careers of care workers, the possession of other health care-related licenses, and the perceived needs of human rights education. The data also indicate a difference in the compliance of caring behaviors according to: gender, family care experience, and dementia care experience. The factors influencing compliance of caring behaviors, according to the study, are gender (β=.19, p=.009), family care experience (β=.19, p=.023), and human rights (β=.38, p<.001). It was found that 23% could explain the compliance of caring behaviors. Conclusion: Long term care workers were found to have a higher level of the compliance of caring behaviors as their awareness of human rights increased. In order to increase the compliance of caring behaviors among long-term care workers, more educational programs on human rights should be provided.
The purpose of this study was to examine the perception of students about pseudo-science in consideration to their personality traits, cognitive style, and awareness of the nature of science, which might all have a great impact on their behavior and thinking. The subjects of this study were 129 sixth-grade school children in a small urban community in Gyeonggi province. The way they looked at pseudo-science was investigated after three kinds of traits were selected as variables, including personality traits, cognitive style, and awareness of the nature of science. Four different instruments were utilized, which respectively covered personality traits, cognitive style, awareness of the nature of science and perception of pseudo-science. The results of the study were as follows: First, the children with higher emotional stability and liveliness showed higher permeability towards pseudo-science, while made no significant difference on their view of pseudo-science. Second, their cognitive style made no significant difference to their outlook on pseudo-science. Third, as for link between awareness of the nature of science and pseudo-science, the students with a poor understanding of the nature of science were significantly different from those who had a better understanding of it in perception of pseudo-science(p<.05).
Purpose: A descriptive study design was used to investigate infection management awareness and infection management performance for clothing management in 119 emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Method: 188 paramedics and basic EMTs completed questionnaires between March 1 and April 30, 2013 in Jeollabuk-do. Much controversy has been generated over whether the ecological restoration project in Korea is faithful to the basic approach of ecological restoration compared to projects aimed at creating parks or green spaces. This study was aimed at understanding the level of awareness of practitioners in the planting design method, which is recognized as relatively important in landscape architecture and ecological restoration. The proficiency of practitioners in planting design techniques for ecological restoration projects was investigated and analyzed in seven areas: overall planting design awareness, plant species selection method, planting tree sizes, planting density, use of native species, vegetation climatic zone, soil environment, and weed control. There was no statistically significant difference between the group who thought they were experts in the field of ecological restoration and the group who thought they were experts in the field of parks and green spaces. Moreover, there was no statistically significant difference between the degree of work performance, that is, the group whose main industry was ecological restoration, the group that performed relatively more ecological restoration work, and the group that rarely performed it. Therefore, to apply desirable ecological restoration techniques in the future and to clearly differentiate between the approach in the field of parks and green spaces, the appropriate tree size or planting density selected in the ecological restoration planting design stage must be chosen. To this end, the awareness of expert groups must be improved and related laws, systems, and guidelines must be revised.
