회피효과를 고려한 인젝터 재제조의 전과정 환경영향 효익 분석 (Life Cycle Environmental Impacts Benefits Analysis of Remanufactured Injector Considering the Avoided Effect)

  • 재제조는 사용 후 제품을 분해, 세척, 검사, 보수, 조정, 재조립하여 원래의 성능 또는 그 이상의 성능을 가진 제품으로 재상품화하는 것으로, 재제조산업은 2050 탄소중립을 실현하기 위해 필요한 핵심 산업이다. 본 연구에서는 자동차부품 중 재제조가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 인젝터를 대상으로 전과정평가를 이용하여 회피효과를 고려 시와 미고려 시 자원 저감 및 온실가스 저감 효과를 분석하고자 한다. 연구결과, 인젝터 재제조로 인한 자원 저감 효과와 온실가스 저감 효과는 회피효과를 미고려 시 1개 기준으로 95.30%, 93.88%가 저감되는 것으로 나타났다. 재제조 시 제품을 재사용함으로써 사용 후 제품이 폐기되지 않는 환경영향과 천연자원을 사용하지 않는 환경영향의 회피효과를 고려할 시 190.91%, 188.33%가 저감되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 향후 재제조 시 회피효과를 고려한 환경영향 저감량을 평가하고, 연구방법론 개발 시 활용할 수 있을 것으로 본다.

  • Recently, electric energy consumption pattern shows very high peak load with low load factor. This Load pattern have made electric utilities be interested in Load Management, many studies are reported. But most of these studies are concerned with Rate - Load shape relation, a few of these are concerned with generating cost reduction. In this study, the effect of Load Management is incorporated to establish optimal Generation Expansion Planning. Using avoided cost, optimal generation expansion planning is achieved to make maximum avoided cost of Electric utility. Dynamic programming technique is used to solve this algorithm.

  • 본 논문은 효율향상 프로그램의 비용효과 분석을 위한 대리발전기법과 수요감소기법이 조합된 발전운전 회피비용 계산 방법론을 제안하였다. 수용가 전력사용 행태에 따른 효율향상 수요관리 자원의 가동지수를 도입하여 보급된 고효율기기의 시간별 운전용량을 계산하는 데 활용하였다 또한, 기준수요에서 최대수요시간의 운전용량을 그 시간에 기여하는 최대수요 절감량으로 계산하였으며, 발전운전 회피비용을 이용한 효율향상 수요관리 자원의 영향을 평가하였다. 수요관리 전후의 효과분석을 위한 사례연구 모델로 IEEE-RTS를 활용하였으며, 수요관리 효과로 인한 각 발전기의 발전량, 발전비용 및 계통한계비용(SMP)의 변화 등을 분석하였다. 본 방법은 단기 수요관리 효과를 예측함은 물론 현재 실시하고 있는 효율향상 수요관리 자원의 효과를 추정하는데 활용 가능하고, 계산결과는 수요관리자원의 효과분석을 위한 기초자료로 활용 가능하다.

  • The effect of propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, ketamine HCI, xylazine HCI, and pentobarbital sodium as chemical restraint drugs on the transit time of barium sulfate through the stomach and duodenum in 24 healthy cats was investigated. In the present study, propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, and ketamine HCI did not reveal significant effect on the gastroduodenal transit time, but xylazine HCI and pentobarbital sodium pro-longed the gastroduodenal transit time markedly compared with control group. Therefore it is concluded that propionylpromazine, acepromazine maleate, and ketamine HCI could be selected for upper gastrointestinal radiographs. but xylazine HCI and pentobarbital sodium should be avoided.

WindSim을 이용한 풍황탑 차폐오차 구간의 보정치 검증 (Validation of Calibrated Wind Data Sector including Shadow Effects of a Meteorological Mast Using WindSim)

  • The wind resource assessment for measured wind data over 1 year by using the meteorological mast should be a prerequisite for business feasibility of the wind farm development. Even though the direction of boom mounting the wind vane and anemometer is carefully engineered to escape the interference of wakes generated from the met-mast structures, the shadow effect is not completely avoided due to seasonal winds in the Korean Peninsula. The shadow effect should be properly calibrated because it is able to distort the wind resources. In this study a calibration method is introduced for the measured wind data at Julpo in Jeonbuk Province. Each sectoral terrain conditions along the selected wind direction nearby the met-mast is investigated, and the distorted wind data due to shadow effects can be calibrated effectively. The correction factor is adopted for quantitative calibration by carrying out the WindSim analysis.

Extended Trench Gate Superjunction Lateral Power MOSFET for Ultra-Low Specific on-Resistance and High Breakdown Voltage

  • In this paper, a lateral power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor with ultra-low specific on-resistance is proposed to be applied to a high-voltage (up to 200 V) integrated chip. The proposed structure has two characteristics. Firstly, a high level of drift doping concentration can be kept because a tilt-implanted p-drift layer assists in the full depletion of the n-drift region. Secondly, charge imbalance is avoided by an extended trench gate, which suppresses the trench corner effect occurring in the n-drift region and helps achieve a high breakdown voltage (BV). Compared to a conventional trench gate, the simulation result shows a 37.5% decrease in $R_{on.sp}$ and a 16% improvement in BV.

  • Rock damage induced by blasting can not be avoided during tunnel construction and may affect tunnel stability. But the mutual interaction between tunnel blasting design and tunnel stability design is generally not considered. Therefore this study propose a methodology to take into considration the results of the blasting damage in tunnel stability design. Rock damage is evaluated by dynamic numerical analysis for the most common blasting pattern adopted in road tunnel. Damage zone is determined by using the continuum damage model which is expressed as a function of volumetric strain. And the damage effect is taken into account by the damaged rock stiffness and the damaged failure criteria in tunnel stability assessment. The extend of plastic zone and deformation increase compared to the case of not considering blast-induced rock damage.

Multiphysics response of magneto-electro-elastic beams in thermo-mechanical environment

  • In this article, the multiphysics response of magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) cantilever beam subjected to thermo-mechanical loading is analysed. The equilibrium equations of the system are obtained with the aid of the principle of total potential energy. The constitutive equations of a MEE material accounting the thermal fields are used for analysis. The corresponding finite element (FE) formulation is derived and model of the beam is generated using an eight noded 3D brick element. The 3D FE formulation developed enables the representation of governing equations in all three axes, achieving accurate results. Also, geometric, constitutive and loading assumptions required to dimensionality reduction can be avoided. Numerical evaluation is performed on the basis of the derived formulation and the influence of various mechanical loading profiles and volume fractions on the direct quantities and stresses is evaluated. In addition, an attempt has been made to compare the individual effect of thermal and mechanical loading with the combined effect. It is believed that the numerical results obtained helps in accurate design and development of sensors and actuators.

The effect of repeated firings on the color change and surface roughness of dental ceramics

  • PURPOSE. The color of the ceramic restorations is affected by various factors such as brand, thickness of the layered the ceramic, condensation techniques, smoothness of surface, number of firings, firing temperature and thickness of dentin. The aim of this study was to evaluate the color change and surface roughness in dental porcelain with different thicknesses during repeated firings. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Disc-shaped (N=21) metal-ceramic samples (IPS Classic; Ivoclar Vivadent; Shaar, Liechtenstein) with different thickness were exposed to repeated firings. Color measurement of the samples was made using a colorimeter and profilometer was used to determine surface roughness. ANOVA and Tukey tests with repeated measurements were used for statistical analysis. RESULTS. The total thickness of the ceramics which is less than 2 mm significantly have detrimental effect on the surface properties and color of porcelains during firings (P<.05). CONCLUSION. Repeated firings have effects on the color change and surface roughness of the dental ceramics and should be avoided.

Effect of ramp-type erase pulse waveform on the high Temperature driving characteristics of ac PDP

  • This paper deals with the effect of ramp-type erase pulse waveform on the high temperature driving characteristics of ac PDP driven by ramp up-down reset waveform. The experimental results show that the discharge characteristics in the reset period are significantly affected by the erase pulse waveform and ambient temperature. The firing voltage is increased with ambient temperature. This can cause misfirings during the sustain period and should be avoided. As one of possible solutions, we propose the optimization of erasing pulse shape.
