납에 노출된 애기장대의 식물기관에 축적된 납 농도 (Accumulated Concentration of Lead in Plant Organ of Arabidopsis thaliana Exposed to Lead)

  • 3가지 농도의 납을 첨가한 토양에서 생장한 애기장대(Arabidopsis thaliana)에서 식물체에 축적된 납의 농도를 조사하였다. 환경부 고시 오염물질 배출기준 농도(1 mg/l)와 10배 높은 농도(10 mg/l) 및 50배 높은 농도(50 mg/l)의 납이 첨가된 토양에서 생장한 식물의 줄기에 축적된 납의 농도는 3가지 농도에서 증가율이 유사하게 나타났으며, 정상식물 줄기에 비하여 평균 약 24% 증가하였다. 3가지 농도의 납이 첨가된 토양에서 생장한 식물의 잎에 축적된 납의 농도는 정상식물 잎에 비하여 평균 약 57% 증가하였으며, 줄기와 마찬가지로 토양에 첨가된 납의 농도 증가에 따라 잎에 축적된 납의 농도는 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았으며 증가율도 유사하였다. 반면 오염물질 배출기준 농도와 10배 높은 농도의 납이 첨가된 토양에서 생장한 식물의 뿌리에 축적된 납의 농도는 정상식물 뿌리에 비하여 평균 약 114% 증가하였으나, 50배 높은 농도에서는 약 861% 증가하여 줄기나 잎과는 대조적인 결과를 나타내었다. 토양 속에 첨가된 납의 농도가 증가하면 애기장대 식물체 내에 축적된 납의 농도도 증가하였는데, 특히 오염물질 배출기준농도보다 50배 높은 납이 첨가된 토양에서 생장한 식물체내에 축적된 납 농도는 정상식물보다 약 2.6배 증가하였다. 이러한 결과는 토양 속에 오염된 납은 식물의 줄기나 잎보다는 뿌리에 더 많이 축적되며, 줄기와 잎에 축적되는 납 농도는 토양 속에 오염된 납 농도에 비례하여 증가하지 않으나 뿌리에서는 농도에 비례하여 매우 증가하였음을 나타내고 있다.

  • IMML(Inorganic metal multi-layer) was used as cathode in the OLED devices to reduce the reflectance or ITO and increase the contrast ratio. Device structure was $ITO/{\alpha}-NPD/Alq_3:DCJTB/Alq_3/IMML/Al$. $Alq_3$ and DCJTB (4 - (dicyanomethylene) - 2 - ( 1 - propyls) 6 - methy 4H - pyrans) as host material lot red emission and red emitting guest material. IMML made three different layer: thin aluminum layer, aluminum layer doped with silicon monoxide, thick aluminum layer. The red OLED device with IMML showed the average reflectance of $4.97\%$, and then normal OLED with or without polarizer showed the average reflectance of $4.55\%$, $46\%$ at visible range from 380 nm to 780 nm. The brightness of OLED with IMML at 13 V was 5557 $cd/m^2$, and that of normal OLED with polarizer was 4872 $cd/m^2$. IMML could be the substitution for polarizer with same reflection, low cost, easy process in flat panel display market.

Characteristic Changes of the Changma Season in the 2000s

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristic changes of the Changma season in the 2000s. To accomplish this goal, we have used daily rainfall data collected over nearly 40 years (1971 to 2010). The average summer precipitation data including the Changma season were collected from 16 weather stations that are placed across the three major regions (i.e. central region, southern region, and Jeju region) as Korea Meteorological Administration divided. These precipitation data were analyzed to find out characteristic changes of the Changma season. Results of the precipitation data comparison among the major regions that, monthly average precipitation in the central region was the highest in July; its precipitation tended to increase from May to September. In the southern region, the precipitation amount was lowest in June and tended to increase in May, September, and August. In the Jeju region, the precipitation has been the highest in June and July for the past 30 years, whereas September has been highest month in the last 10 years. The precipitation amount in the Jeju region decreased both in June and July, whereas it tended to grow in May, August and September. A correlation coefficient formula by Karl Pearson has been used to find out correlations between the Changma season and the precipitation of the major regions in 2000s and normal years. It was found that the correlation coefficient has decreased from 0.723 to 0.524 in the 2000s (2001 to 2010) compared to normal years (1971 to 2000).

정상교합자 설측치관형태 및 설측치열궁형태에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON MORPHOLOGIC CHARACTERISTICS OF LINGUAL SURFACE OF CROWN AND LINGUAL ARCHFORM OF KOREAN ADULT WITH NORMAL OCCLUSION)

  • 한국인에게 적합한 설측교정장치와 이상적인 설측 치열궁 아치와이어 제작의 기초자료를 얻기위하여 정상교합자 경석고 모형 30개를 재료로 하여 설측치관의 형태와, 후지타 설측 브라켓을 위치시킨 모형에서 설측치열궁 형태를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 각 치아에 대한 치관의 근원심 경사도와 설면의 순설측 치관 경사도의 평균치를 얻었다. 각 치아에 대한 브라??? 위치에서 설면의 수평 및 수직적 형태를 얻은 결과 대구치, 소구치, 견치는 상하악이 비슷한 모양을 보였으며, 강하악의 중절치와 측절치도 비슷한 모양을 보여 각각 브라켓 기저부를 공유할 수 있을 것으로 나타났다. 브라켈 부착위치에서의 평균 설측치열궁 형태를 얻은 결과, 그 형태는 전치부는 반원형이며 견치와 소구치 사이에 강한 오프??? 밴드가 있는 버섯 형태로서 소구치간 및 제2소구치와 대구치간에도 오프??? 밴드가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 남녀간의 평균 설측치열궁 형태는 상악은 거의 일치하였고 하악은 여자가 남자보다 다소 작은 형태를 나타내었다.

신생아 제대관리방법에 따른 제대탈락 시기와 제대주위 피부상태 비교 (Umbilical cord care differences in the time of cord separation and the skin condition of periumbilical area)

  • The purpose of this study was to confirm the efficient umbilical cord care of healthy newborns in nursery. In order to determine the efficient care, the time of umbilical cord separation and the skin condition of periumbilical area were evaluated. The data were collected in sample of 529 normal, healthy newborns of C hospital in Seoul, from September 1st, 1999 to January 16th, 2000. The babies were randomly selected and allocated into four groups-alcohol swab/tub bath, alcohol swab/partial bath, natural dry/tub bath, natural dry/partial bath- by the methods of care. The mothers of babies were also surveyed by questionnaire about general characteristics. The data were analyzed by SAS program. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The average gestation period of newborns was 39+3 weeks. The average birth weight was 3.27Kg. In gender of babies, boys were 51.7% and girls were 48.3%. The 65% of newborns were born normal vaginal delivery, 35% were C-section. The feeding methods were 55.3% of the babies fed by mixed type, 22.9% by breast, and 21.8% by bottle. There was no significance among four groups by general characteristics. 2. The average time of umbilical cord separation was 8.27 days(SD=2.3). The time was no difference significantly among four groups(F=1.68, P=0.17). 3. The prevalence of the umbilical care complication did not show differences among four groups( 2=3.93, P=0.27). In conclusion, Nurses have preferred the traditional alcohol swab/partial bath method in care of newborns. But there was no difference among the ways to take care of umbilicus according to this study. The way to naturally is more efficient due to reduce the time and expense in umbilical care for normal babies of nursery. This also matched the change in approach to healthy population from intervention to nonintervention way. This could be suggested in education for normal and healthy babies care at home and nursery as a useful way. Endly, the further study about bacterial colony nda infection rate at umbilicus by ways of care is needed.

하지동맥 전산화단층촬영 검사 시 생리식염수 희석을 통한 조영제 사용량 감소의 융복합 효용성 연구 (A Convergence Study on effectiveness of contrast agent reduction by normal saline solution dilution in the computed tomography of arteries of lower limb)

  • 하지 동맥 전산화단층촬영(CT) 검사 시 생리식염수 희석을 통한 조영제 사용량 감소의 효용성을 알아보고자 하였다. 조영제 125 cc 주입한 48명과 같은 양을 조영제와 생리 식염수를 7:3으로 주입한 30명을 대상으로 하였다. 각각의 영상에서 복부대동맥, 넙다리동맥, 오금동맥, 뒤정강동맥의 감쇄계수(HU)의 평균값과 신호 대 잡음비(SNR)를 정량적으로 평가 하였고, 정성적 평가는 영상의학과 전문의 2명, 방사선사 4명이 5점 척도로 4가지 평가항목을 평가하였다. 정량적 평가에서 HU와 SNR 모두 희석 전 평균값이 높게 나왔으나 독립표본 T검정에서 유의확률이 모두 p>0.05이므로 희석 전, 후의 통계적으로 유의성이 없다. 정성적 평가는 평균점수가 원액이 4.86~4.77, 희석액이 4.83~4.67로 차이가 있었으나, 유의확률이 모두 p>0.05이므로 희석 전, 후의 통계적으로 유의성이 없다. CT 하지동맥 조영 검사 시 일정 비율 희석한 조영제를 사용하여 기존 영상의 질을 유지 할 수 있고, 조영제의 총량을 줄여 단위 분자 당 요오드 함량이 낮아지므로 조영제로 인한 부작용을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

고중력에서 MFI 형 Zeolite 인 Silicalite 결정의 합성 및 성장에 관한 연구 (A study on the synthesis and crystal growth of the MFI type zeolite, silicalite under highgravity)

  • 실리카가 많이 함유된 제올라이트 즉 silicalite(end member of ZSM-5)를 2.55 $Na_2O-5.0$ TPABr-100 $SiO_2-2800H_2O $ 조성으로 $180^{\circ}C$에서 7일간 반응시켜 합성하였다. Silicalite 합성을 위한 최초 반웅물들이 담겨진 autoclave들은 반응기간 중 고중력장을 얻기 위하여 특수제작된 열풍식 항온조 내에서 원심분리되었다. 반응은 1, 30 및 50G에서 수행되었다. 30 및 50G의 고중력하에서 합성된 silicalite의 평균 및 최대 결정크기는 동일 조건하의 1G에서 합성된 결정들보다 현저하게 증가되었고, 수율도 4 %에서 55 %정도까지 약 11배가 증가되었다. 1G에서 얻어진silicalite 결정의 평균크기는 1 일에서 7 일에 걸친 전 반응기간을 통하여 $50-70{\mu}m$에 불과한 반면, 30 및 50G에서 얻어진 결정의 평균크기는 $160-190{\mu}m$로 2-3배 증가된 결과가 나타났다. 더욱 특이할만한 현상으로 고중력하에서는 핵심생성과 결정성장이 뚜렷하게 2 단계에 걸쳐 나타남이 관측되었다. 예로써 50G하에서는 단지 2 내지 3 일간의 반응 후에 평균 $135\mu}m$ 정도의 silicalite 결정이 생성되는 비교적 빠른 제 1 성장단계(first growing stage)를 보였고, 이어 5일에 이르기까지 평균 $200{\mu}m$ 정도의 결정이 되는 매우 빠른 제 2 성장단계(second growing stage)가 관찰되었다. 위의 2 단계 결정성장과정에서 얻어진 최대결정 크기는 각각 190 및 $300{\mu}m$이었다. 고중력이 결정핵 생성, 성장, 수율 및 silicalite 결정의 크기에 미치는 영향들에 관하여 자세히 논의하였다.

체질량지수에 따른 일부 대학생의 체형인식도와 식행동에 관한 연구 (Body Image Recognition and Dietary Behaviors of College Students According to the Body Mass Index)

  • This study was performed to investigate the body image perception by BMI and the dietary behaviors in 803 college students(408 males and 395 females). The degree of obesity was divided into an underweight group with BMI less than $18.5kg/m^2$, a normal group with BMI of $18.5{\sim}22.9kg/m^2$, an overweight group with BMI of $23{\sim}24.9kg/m^2$ and an obese group with BMI over $25.0kg/m^2$. The average ages of subjects were 22.9 years in males and 20.2 years in females. The average weight and height of male subjects were 175.3 cm and 69.6 kg, respectively and those of female subjects were 162.5 cm and 52.0 kg, respectively. The average BMIs of male and female subjects were $22.6kg/m^2$ and $19.7kg/m^2$, respectively. The distribution of subjects who perceived their current body image as ideal body image was 25.7% in males and 10.9% in females, showing that the body image satisfaction of male subjects was 1.5 times higher than that of female subjects. Body image perception for their own bodies was mostly shown as the average or standard shape both in males and females with 64.2% and 54.2%, respectively, but males showed a higher perception rate than females and 31.1% of females and 19.5% of males perceived their bodies as lean shape(p<0.01). The body image satisfaction was 4.20 in males and 3.70 in females, showing more satisfaction in the male subjects(p<0.001). The correlation between body image and physical variables in male subjects indicated that CBI and IBI showed statistically significant correlation and also BMI showed statistically significant correlation with IBI(p<0.001) and CBI(p<0.001). The frequency of eating out increased as the frequency of skipping meals increased(p<0.001) and the frequency of having snacks increased as the frequency of eating out increased(p<0.01). The correlation between body image and physical variables in female subjects showed that CBI and IBI(p<0.001) had statistically significant correlation. Body weight showed statistically significant correlation with CBI(p<0.001), BMI(p<0.001) and height(p<0.001). The frequency of eating out increased as height(p<0.01) and the frequency of skipping meals(p<0.001) increased. When both male and female subjects wanted leaner body shapes, they preferred much leaner shapes despite their current body images belonging in the normal range. Additionally subjects preferred the body image in the normal range in cases when their current body images were lean. In particular, more female subjects had strong desires to become leaner in their body images than male subjects, which could be analyzed as a risk factor for physical him. From the above results, it is considered that both male and female subjects need to establish proper recognition and dietary behaviors for their body images and also need nutritional education and counseling for desirable weight control methods.

유역모형을 이용한 비점배출계수 적용성 평가 (Evaluation of Applicability for Nonpoint Discharge Coefficient using Watershed Model)

  • Total maximum daily load have been implemented and indicated that nonpoint discharge coeffients in flow duration curve were 0.50 of Normal flow duration ($Q_{185}$) and 0.15 of low flow duration($Q_{275}$). By using SWAT, nonpoint discharge coefficients are studied with the conditions of the instream flow and the rainfall in two study areas. The nonpoint discharge coefficient average of BOD and TP for normal flows duration in 3 years are 0.32~0.36 and 0.28~0.31. For the low flow duration, the nonpoint discharge coefficient avergae of BOD and TP were 0.10~0.12 and 0.10~0.11. These are lower than the coefficients of total maximum load regulation. There are big differences between one of regulation and one of SWAT for the normal flow duration. With the consideration of rainfall condition, the nonpoint discharge coefficient of flood flow duration are influenced on the amount of rainfalls. However, the nonpoint discharge coefficients of normal flow duration and low flow duration are not effected by the rainfall condition. Since the spatial distribution and geomorphological characteristics could be considered with SWAT, the estimation of nonpoint discharge coefficient in watershed model is better method than the use of the recommended number in the regulation.

전염성기관지염(傳染性氣管支炎) 바이러스에 대한 가토혈청억제물질(家兎血淸抑制物質)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Studies on Rabbit Serum Inhibitor of Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus)

  • It has been-reported that rabbit serum exhibit an inhibitory action on avian infectious bronchitis virus in embryonating chicken embryo. In this thesis, the biological, serological, physical and chemical properties of normal rabbit serum on the effect of the virus propagation were studied. Throughout the studies, the following experimental results 'were obtained and summarized here. 1. An inhibitory action of rabbit serum on avian infectious bronchitis vrius is due to the normal serum constituents. 2. The nature of the neutralization between normal rabbit serum and the virus is similar to that of the specific antiserum and the virus. 3. Rabbit serum, heat inactivated at $56^{\circ}C$, for 30 minutes, showed its average $log_{10}El,D_{50}Nl$ of 3.7. 4. The inhibitory compound present in the normal rabbit serum is inactivated by means of 5 per cent trypsin, 0.01 M potassium periodate, and absorbed to zymosan. 5. The inhibitory compound was not affected by 0.05 M trichloroacetic acid and 0.005M $KH_2PO_4$. 6. The higher the temperature of heat inactivation of rabbit serum caused the lesser the neutralizing effect on the virus. Heating the serum at $66^{\circ}C$, for 30 minutes brought about a complete loss of the neutralizing index of the serum. 7. No ions, as a cofactor, was incorporated to the inhibitory action of rabbit serum on the virus. 8. The inhibitory compound amays be found in a fraction of serum globulin.
