In this regard, the newly focused logistics information system makes reducing the expenses of whole logistic available by cutting down the expenses of materials, transportation and stock and also, it allows the company to cut down the procurement expense through the reduced lead-time and rationalize producing plans by eliminating the uncertain orders and fluctuation in procurement. It further more optimizes the efficiency of over all productions by meeting the dead line for delivery to the customers. In the recent environment of globalization where fierce competitions exist between manufacturers, logistics plays important role in the strategies of companies, and managements of companies try their best efforts in establishing the strategy to accomplish the innovative relationship between supply chain channels. Therefore, in this study, we try to suggest the model of consolidated logistics system that is integrated logistics information system with suggesting the better way of logistics and comparative analysis with logistics system to resolve the difficulties numbers of companies face after realizing what logistics information system is in Korea.

Purpose - The purpose of this paper is has been to identify the information disclosed by Internet website companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange. Research design, data, methodology - The list was prepared includes 84 attributes for financial information in two parts and 36 non-financial information attributes and with 48 attributes of listed companies in Tehran Stock Exchange. Results - The results show that Internet reporting in Iran has improved compared to previous research. However, the level of financial disclosure and accounting firms with the most important research in this area is weak and these companies are more willing to disclose non-financial information to disclose their financial information. In Iran has been little research on Internet financial reporting. Conclusions - Although this study has been to the best possible information is available on the website of each company covered and fully evaluated but May have some unwanted data hidden from view has been fulfilled and is missing. The attribute relating to support of other languages, in this study, only the presence or absence of links (other languages) and information disclosed is limited to languages have not been studied other than Persian.

Since high-rise building construction sites are usually located in crowded city areas, sufficient spaces for the inventories of key materials are rarely available. This spatial constraints have been one of the critical challenge that may cause productivity loss and increasing costs of the high-rise building construction projects. The proper material inventory management is certaing a key to the success of high-rise building construction projects as it handles difficulty of securing material stock yards, changes in demands, uncertain delivery time through integrating the construction schedules and actively responding to the key materials attributes. In this light, this research analyzes the latest inventory model, (Q,r) model, in accordance with the high rise building characteristics. This research suggests an optimal inventory management of re-bar considering various demands and lead times. The case study is also presented with regard to the re-bar inventory management.

This study examines the environmental performance of firms in Vietnam and its determinants. The contribution of the paper is on both theoretical and empirical aspects. On the theoretical matter, the research proposes a new index measuring environmental management at the firm level, namely the Environmental Management Index with a clear illustration for the case of Vietnam. On the empirical matter, the study points out and estimates determinants of the corporate environmental performance of Vietnamese firms measured by the newly proposed index. Due to data availability and the impossibility of getting more updated data, the empirical analysis covers only the period from 2004-2009. However, findings are still meaningful because, on the one hand, it provides some evidence for Vietnamese policymakers; on the other hand, with the robust methodology proposed, when more recent data are available, researchers can easily replicate the estimation for more insights. Empirical results show that factors having positive impacts on the environmental performance of Vietnamese firms are profit, capital stock, and interestingly public pressure proxied by the population of the province where the firm is located. Firm ownership does also matter in explaining the corporate environmental performance of Vietnam.

This study is a preceding research designed to deduct an institutional supplementary measure that minimizes any inevitable side effects from the improvement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which is the core element of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In this specific case in which the Robo-Advisor, the representative type of AI-applied technology, was hacked by a third party and ended up manipulating prices, the study was intended to examine the responsibility relationship of the current legal framework. Although the current legal framework strictly prohibits acts such as hacking and manipulation, it was confirmed that if the Robo-Advisor management firm acts in compliance with protection measures regarding hacking, the firm is free from any legal liabilities and there is insufficient legal protection available for ordinary investors with grand-scale damage from price manipulation Based on this study, further studies are needed to derive more institutional supplementary measures on overcoming these problems.

Replacement demand plays an important role to forecast the total demand of durable goods, while most of the diffusion models deal with only adoption data, namely initial purchase demand. This paper presents replacement demand forecasting models incorporating repurchase rate, multi-ownership, and dynamic product life to complement the existing diffusion models. The performance of replacement demand forecasting models are analyzed and practical guidelines for the application of the models are suggested when life distribution data or adoption data are not available.

The Japanese Flying Squid (Todarodes pacificus) is a commercially important species in South Korea and the most popular species among consumers. However commercial catches of Japanese Flying Squid have been declining since 2000. In this study, we conducted a stock assessment to identify stock status. This study differed from previous studies in two aspects: a greater amount of available fishing effort data was used, and data from China, Japan, and Korea were included. A CMSY (catch-maximum sustainable yield) model was used to estimate MSY, biomass and exploitation with Bayesian state-space implementation of the Schaefer (BSS) model for the method of stock assessment, and evaluated the species by dividing into two groups, 'Korea' and ' Korea·China·Japan'. In all cases, Japanese flying squid biomass showed a general decreasing trend. Additionally, the biomass estimated for 2020 was lower than the biomass necessary to achieve the maximum sustainable yield. To manage Japanese Flying Squid effectively, it is necessary to strengthen the resource management strategies of individual countries and prepare a cooperative plan among countries.

The objective of this paper is to develop volume equation of street tree and its carbon stock for urban forest in Seoul. To develop the volume equation by major species in Seoul, data for street trees were obtained from four-species (e.g. Gingko biloba, Platanus occidentalis, Zelkova serrata, and Metasequoia glyptostroboides), which accounted for 79% all street trees in Seoul. This study used a variable based on diameter on breast height and four equation for calculating volume. The coefficient of determination, bias, and root mean square error were used to evaluate the precision of four equations. From these methods, the most suitable equations for Platanus occidentalis was aDb, the other was aD+bD2; coefficient of determination upper on 0.873. From the volume equation developed in this research, the estimated carbon stock were derived as about 33,760tC for four-species of urban forest in Seoul. The results of this paper offered volume equation and carbon stock that present growth information for street trees in urban forestry and these can be made available for evaluating the management for carbon in settlement.

Services for the elderly is a new challenge for the libraries in aging society. This study reviewed the obstacles faced by the old readers and presbyopia, and analyzed the states of the large-print books to understand and estimate the Korean large-print books availability. Based on the bibliographic list of large-print books collected by the National Library of Korea, large-print book stock list of the Kyobo Book Center, large-print book lists supplied to the libraries by the Korean Library Association, and the data of the previous Library Survey for the Disabled, number of titles and volumes, publication year, duplication, and subject field of the large-print books available are analyzed. Based on the results, problems are identified and recommendations for bibliographic control, collection development, reading promotion, and further research area are suggested.
