탑헤드 모니터는 모니터 위의 상단부에 6.4인치 정도의 보조 모니터를 추가로 탑재한 두 화면 모니터이다. 이 시스템의 특징은 아래의 화면은 종전의 화면 기능을 그대로 수행하고 상단 부위의 보조화면은 인터넷 전용광고 및 컨텐츠 제공을 할 수 있는 배너 광고, 동영상 화면, 메일관리 아이콘, 웹폰 아이콘, 단축 아이콘 등이 배치되었고 이를 클릭 하면 아래의 모니터 화면과 연동하여 동작할 수 있다는 점이며 두 개의 모니터 화면은 종전의 방법 그대로 마우스와 키보드를 사용하여 제어할 수 있다.

최근 노년인구의 증가로 이동 보조기기의 수요가 증대되고 있다. 이동 보조 기기 중 하나인 보행보조기의 수요도 늘고 있다. 보행보조기란 고령자나 환자들 같은 지역 이동이 불편한 사람들의 체중을 분담 받아 보행을 도와주는 기기이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 수동 보행보조기에 전동 기능을 탑재하여 사용자들의 보행을 도와주는 전동 보행보조기를 제작하였다. 또한 장거리 이동시 차에 실어 이동 시킬 수 있도록 경량의 접이식 구조를 적용하여 설계 및 제작 하였다.

The safety loads in a nuclear power plant perform a critical function to plant safety. The design of the electrical auxiliary system should ensure the availability and adequacy of the power supply, and therefore, the frequency and voltage relaying schemes should be installed on the system to monitor and protect against the degraded system condition. If unforeseen contingencies degrade the switchyard frequency and voltage to below the minimum values, the safety related bus should properly be transferred to alternate power source. This paper presents guidelines associated with the protection of nuclear power plants during frequency/voltage decay and the steady-state and dynamic analysis of auxiliary power system that should be performed to support the degraded voltage relay(second level undervoltage relay) setting.

The model reduction method of the high order linear time invariant systems is proposed. The continuous fraction expansion of Auxiliary denominator polynomial is used to obtain denominator polynomial of the reduced order model, and the numerator polynomial of the reduced order model is obtained by equating the first some moments of the original and the reduced order model, using simplified moment function. This methiod does not require the calculation of the reciprocal transformation which should be calculated in Routh approximation, furthemore the stability of the reduced order model is guaranted if original system is stable. Responses of this method showed us good characteristics.

Fractional horse power single phase induction motors have no starting torque their own. So there are several ways of starting single phase induction motors. The most common type is the starting capacitor installed in series with the auxiliary winding to increase the starting torque. Also, the auxiliary winding is disconnected once the speed of the motor reaches 70 to 80 [%] of the rated speed. In the conventional systems, this function is conducted by a centrifugal switch. But the mechanical centrifugal switch has many problems such as switch malfunction. This paper presents the new methods of electronic starting switch by inductor to overcome these shortcomings of centrifugal switch.

Promoter prediction is a very important problem and is closely related to the main problems of bioinformatics such as the construction of gene regulatory networks and gene function annotation. In this context, we developed an integrated promoter prediction program using hybrid methods, PromoterWizard, which can be employed to detect the core promoter region and the transcription start site (TSS) in vertebrate genomic DNA sequences, an issue of obvious importance for genome annotation efforts. PromoterWizard consists of three main modules and two auxiliary modules. The three main modules include CDRM (Composite Dependency Reflecting Model) module, SVM (Support Vector Machine) module, and ICM (Interpolated Context Model) module. The two auxiliary modules are CpG Island Detector and GCPlot that may contribute to improving the predictive accuracy of the three main modules and facilitating human curator to decide on the final annotation.

Although the initial cost of permanent-magnet linear synchronous motors is high owing to the installation of armatures over the full length of the transportation lines, linear motors are useful for transportation systems because of their high speed, acceleration, and deceleration. For these reasons, research into reducing the cost of linear motors is necessary, and a stationary distributed-armature system has been suggested for installing armatures in sections where acceleration and deceleration of the mover are required. However, each armature has ends that significantly increase the cogging force, resulting in the increase in the thrust ripple of the mover. Therefore, in order to improve the thrust ripple of the system, the present study aims to provide auxiliary teeth on both ends of the armature to achieve an optimal design through an analysis of the contribution ratio with respect to factors regarding the design of the experiment and the objective function.

In this paper, we introduce a new class of reciprocal convex set which is called as relative reciprocal convex set. We establish a necessary and sufficient condition for the minimum of the differentiable relative reciprocal convex function. This condition can be viewed as a new class of variational inequality which is called relative reciprocal variational inequality. Using the auxiliary principle technique we discuss the existence criteria for the solution of relative reciprocal variational inequality. Some special cases which are naturally included in our main results are also discussed.

There are many increasing demands for efficient high power density of auxiliary power unit(APU) for high speed traction application. Many techniques have been proposed to measure the voltage flicker on the traditional pulse width modulation(PWM) inverter. This paper proposes a novel functionality of the static inverter on the APU to mitigate the voltage flicker and regulate the output voltage. A new control algorithm for the inverter based on the Hilbert transform(HT) is presented. The HT is employed as an effective technique for tracking the voltage flicker levels in APU systems. Simulation results are provided to verify the tracking capabilities of the HT and to evaluate the performance of the proposed DG interface for multi-function operation.

The main aim of this paper is to introduce a new generalization of the Wright series in two variables, which is expressed in terms of Hermite polynomials. The properties of the freshly defined function involving its auxiliary functions and the integral representations are established. Furthermore, a Gauss-Hermite quadrature and Gaussian quadrature formulas have been established to evaluate some integral representations of our main results and compare them with our theoretical evaluations using graphical simulations.
