GPS 정보를 이용한 지능형 차량의 자율 경로추적 제어 (Autonomous Tracking Control of Intelligent Vehicle using GPS Information)

  • In the development of intelligent vehicles, path tracking of unmanned vehicle is a basis of autonomous driving and automatic navigation. It is very important to find the exact position of a vehicle for the path tracking, and it is possible to get the position information from GPS. However the information of GPS is not the current position but the past position because a vehicle is moving and GPS has a time delay. In this paper, therefore, the moving distance of a vehicle is estimated using a direction sensor and a velocity sensor to compensate the position error of GPS. In the steering control, optimal fuzzy rules for the path tracking can be found through the simulation of Simulink. Real driving experiments show the fuzzy rules are good for the steering control and the position error of GPS is well compensated by the proposed estimation method.

  • In this paper, we describe a vision sensor-based driving algorithm for indoor automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) that facilitates a path tracking task using two mono cameras for navigation. One camera is mounted on vehicle to observe the environment and to detect markers in front of the vehicle. The other camera is attached so the view is perpendicular to the floor, which compensates for the distance between the wheels and markers. The angle and distance from the center of the two wheels to the center of marker are also obtained using these two cameras. We propose five movement patterns for AGVs to guarantee smooth performance during path tracking: starting, moving straight, pre-turning, left/right turning, and stopping. This driving algorithm based on two vision sensors gives greater flexibility to AGVs, including easy layout change, autonomy, and even economy. The algorithm was validated in an experiment using a two-wheeled mobile robot.

검지라인 자동계산을 이용한 차량추적 알고리즘 개발 (Development of a Vehicle Tracking Algorithm using Automatic Detection Line Calculation)

  • 영상기반 교통감지시스템은 교통정보 수집을 기본으로 상충, 사고감지, 기후감지 등 다양한 정보를 수집하는 데 이용되고 있다. 본 논문은 VDS에서 검지영역을 설정할 때 단위거리별 픽셀길이를 자동 계산하여, 이를 기반으로 교통정보 및 상충정보를 수집하는 시스템을 개발한다. 본 알고리즘은 교차로에 검지영역 내 검지라인을 세분화하여 설정함으로써 교통정보의 정확도를 높이고, 개별차량의 교차로 통과속도 및 점유율을 자동으로 계산해 주며, 나아가 모든 교차로에 일반화하여 적용할 수 있다. 본 알고리즘은 분당교차로에 설치된 CCTV영상을 대상으로 실험하였으며, 상용화 제품과의 교통정보 비교분석을 통하여 알고리즘을 검증하였다.

레이저 유도 시스템을 이용한 AGV의 경로추적 (Path Tracking for AGV using Laser guidance system)

  • This paper presents to study the path tracking method of AGV(autonomous guided vehicle) which has a laser guidance system. An existing automatic guided vehicles(AGVs) which were able to drive on wired line only had a automatic guidance system. However, the automatic guidance systems that those used had the high cost of installation and maintenance, and the difficulty of system change according to variation of working environment. To solve such problems, we make the laser guidance system which is consisted of a laser navigation and gyro, encoder. That is robust against noise, and flexible according to working environment through sensor fusion. The laser guidance system can do a perfect autonomous driving. However, the commercialization of perfect autonomous driving system is difficult, because the perfect autonomous driving system must recognize the whole environment of working space. Hence, this paper studied the path tracking of AGV using laser guidance system without wired line. The path tracking method is consisted of virtual path generation method and driving control method. To experiment, we use the fork-type AGV which is made by ourselves, and do a path tracking experiments repeatedly on same experimental environment. In result, we verified that proposed system is efficient and stable for actual fork-type AGV.

  • 수많은 CCTV에서 기록 보관되는 영상 데이터가 폭발적으로 증가하면서, 빅데이터 환경에 적합한 CCTV 영상 데이터의 처리와 응용이 큰 이슈가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대규모 CCTV 영상 데이터를 하둡 기반으로 병렬처리하고, 이를 활용한 VRT(Vehicle Route Tracking) 시스템을 설계 구현한다. VRT 시스템은 대규모 차량 번호판 인식 시스템의 특성을 가지며, 구글 맵을 통해 특정 차량의 이동경로를 빠른 시간 내에 추적 가능케 한다. 그리고 VRT 시스템의 성능 평가를 위한 실험을 통하여 단일 PC와 하둡 환경에서 대규모 CCTV 영상 데이터의 번호판 인식 시간을 비교 분석한다.

  • Recently, automatic parking assist systems are commercially available in some cars. In order to improve the reliability and the accuracy of parking control, pose uncertainty of a vehicle and some experimental issues should be solved. In this paper, following three schemes are proposed. (1) Odometry calibration scheme for the Car-Like Mobile Robot.(CLMR) (2) Accurate localization using Extended Kalman Filter(EKF) based redundant odometry fusion. (3) Trajectory tracking controller to compensate the tracking error of the CLMR. The proposed schemes are experimentally verified using a miniature Car-Like Mobile Robot. This paper shows that odometry accuracy and trajectory tracking performance can be dramatically improved by using the proposed schemes.

전투차량의 사격통제 성능향상을 위한 탄도해 리드 계산 기법 (A ballistic lead-computation method to improve firing accuracy of army combat vehicles)

  • This paper presents a ballistic lead-computation method which utilizes automatic video tracking, tracking assistance and roll uncoupling. The method is able to improve the firing accuracy of army fighting vehicles such as main battle tanks. In the experiment, the efficiency of the proposed method is evaluated by an error analysis in real operating environment. The proposed method has been applied to the fire control system of a military vehicle and proved through the development test of the vehicle.

  • Necessarily, it is required to analyze interfacial mechanism between tire and road for understanding tire wear, vehicle tracking and breaking. Therefore, there have been some efforts to measure 3-axis pressure and 2-axis displacement on tire road interface. But it was so hard to couple precisely measuring sensor and desired point on tire tread pattern block that it was impossible to analyze the mechanism on commercial tire with tread pattern. To overcome such a problem, a on-line measurement system is proposed in this paper. And an automatic control system is designed to test the tire with similar configuration of real vehicle driving.

  • The deep ocean engineering basin (DOEB) of the Korea Research Institute of Ship and Ocean Engineering (KRISO) is equipped with an extreme-environment reproduction facility that can analyze the motion characteristics of offshore structures and ships. In recent years, there have been requirements for a wide range of six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) motion measurements for performing maneuvering tests and free-running tests of target objects (offshore structures or ships). This study introduces the process of developing a wide-area motion measurement technology by incorporating the auto-tracking technology of the towing carriage system to overcome the existing 6-DOF motion measurement limitation. To realize a wide range of motion measurements, the automatic tracking control system of the towing carriage in the DOEB was designed as a speed control method. To verify the control performance, the characteristics of the towing carriage according to the variation in control gain were analyzed. Finally, a wide range of motions was tested using a model test object (a remotely operated vehicle (ROV)), and the wide-area motion measurement technology was implemented using an automatic tracking control system for a towing carriage.

  • 자동사고검지 알고리즘의 대부분은 사고가 발생했을 때 사고로 검지하지 못하고, 혼잡으로 검지하는 경우가 많다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 또한 교통정보센터 운영자들은 교통사고검지시스템을 운영하면서 대부분 CCTV 육안감시 또는 운전자들의 신고에 의존하여 사고처리를 하고 있는 실정이다. 그 이유는 현재 운영되고 있는 교통사고검지시스템에서는 실제 사고가 아닌데도 불구하고, 사고라는 오검지 경고가 많이 발생되어 시스템 전체의 신뢰도가 떨어진다는 문제점이 있기 때문이다. 다시 말해 교통사고검지시스템의 알고리즘은 검지율(Detection probability)이 높아야 함과 동시에, 오검지율(False alarm probability)은 낮아야 하고, 정확한 사고지점과 시간을 검지해 낼 수 있어야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 검지율을 높이고 동시에, 오검지율을 낮추는 방법으로 기 개발된 가우시안 혼합모델(Gaussian Mixture Model)과 개별차량 Tracking을 이용하여 개발한 사고검지 알고리즘을 교통정보센터 관리시스템(Center Management System)에 적용하고, 실제 교통상황에서 사고검지율과 오검지의 빈도를 측정하여 그 효과를 검증 및 평가하고자 한다.
