디젤차량 싱크로나이저링을 위한 소결마찰재 개발 및 접합특성 평가 (Study on Friction Characteristic of Sintered Friction Component for Synchronizer-Ring of Diesel Vehicle)

  • 엔진의 출력증대와 이에 따른 변속기의 크기 증가 등으로 인한 회전체의 관성증가로 변속기의 변속성능은 악조건이 되고 있다. 따라서, 이를 해결하기 위하여 내마모성이 높은 마찰소재의 개발이 요구된다. 디젤차량 수동변속기용 싱크로나이저 링에 요구되는 마찰특성에 적합한 소재를 개발하고, 이에 대한 접합 특성을 평가하였다. 즉, 철합금 모재와 동합금계 마찰재를 접합하는 공정을 개발하고, 접합층에 대하여 BSE분석, EDX분석을 수행하여 접합특성을 평가하였으며, 해당 시험편에 대하여 전단강도를 평가하였다.

RM 다중세션 처리를 이용한 차량 추적 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (The Design and Implementation of a Vehicle Location Tracing System using RM Multi-Session Processing)

  • An automatic vehicle location tracing system is to build GIS server and on transmission for providing service in various ways by collecting a GPS location information from each vehicle. It is to save GPS data from OBU built-in on the vehicle and transmit the GPS data using the RSU on the roadside and WAVE communication technology. The collected data from the RSU is transmitted to the GIS server and stored in DB(database) and based on the GPS data that was collected from the each vehicle the system is to provide user service to suit the applications so it is to provide various services between RSU and OBU. In this paper, by implementing a multi-session process between the RM and the RMA a variety of services between RSU and OBU are provided. In addition, the system is designed and implemented using GPS to provide a variety of services, for the services provided from each RMA by configuring them as an independent session so it enables a variety of services implemented from one of RSU. With the result of the comparative analysis on the multi-session processing and single-session processing it shows that the differenes of them are minor in repect of the data loss rate and the data transfer rate but various services can be provided.

5속 A/T용 자동변속기 토크컨버터 댐퍼클러치 슬립제어가 슬림율과 연비에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Slip-Controlled Torque Converter Damper Clutch in 5-Speed Automatic Transmission on Slip Rate and Fuel Economy)

  • The objective of this paper was to investigate the slip rate and the slip frequency number of damper clutch of torque converter in 2.4L passenger vehicle with 5-speed A/T and analyze the effect of slip control and control strategy on driving characteristics and the fuel economy. The newly developed torque converter with the more durable wet friction material and the slip-controlled damper clutch system, the DCC system, was installed, which was easily compatible and amendable of the lock-up clutch of the base system. The vehicle has been tested on the fuel economy modes such as FTP-75, HWFET and NEDC (ECE15+EUDC) driving cycle at chassis dynamometer. The DCC mode (II), of which the control strategy had both the lock-up and the slip-controlled clutch, and the DCC mode (I) with full slip-controlled clutch were compared with the base system with only the lock-up clutch. As the research result, comparison to base system, the fuel consumption of the vehicle with the DCC control (II) was effectively improved by 6.6% and 7.7% on FTP-75 and NEDC mode.

  • This paper describes the design of model-based fault diagnosis software to apply to the propulsion system in tracked amphibious assault vehicle which consists of an engine, a transmission, a cooling system, and two waterjets. This software includes specific functions to detect the failures regarding sensor malfunctions, mechanical malfunctions, control errors, and communication errors. This software generates the proper malfunction codes which are classified as the warning and caution. In order to validate the fault diagnosis software, the manual and automatic test are performed using the test program with 32 test cases. Test results show that the designed fault diagnosis software is reliable and effective for applying to the propulsion system.

환경 모니터링을 위한 무인 호버크래프트 시스템 개발 (Development of unmanned hovercraft system for environmental monitoring)

  • 환경정보를 실시간으로 획득하여 정보를 제공하는 환경 모니터링 시스템 필요성이 확대되고 있다. 특히 공공수역 수질관리의 경우 법적으로 수동측정과 자동측정을 통해 상시 관리를 진행해야 하며, 대기오염도 탄소중립 실현과 연관하여 미세먼지, 배기가스 저감을 위한 상시 측정 및 관리가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 수질오염 및 대기오염 정보를 실시간으로 측정하여 모니터링을 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 측정을 위한 도구로 육상과 수상을 동시에 이동 가능한 호버크래프트를 활용하였다. 호버크래프트 본체에 수질측정 및 대기오염측정 센서를 장착하고 그 정보를 실시간으로 모니터링 시스템으로 전송할 수 있는 통신 모듈을 장착하였다. 환경측정용 호버크래프트의 구조를 설계하였으며, 실시간 정보전달 통신 모듈로는 저전력 장거리 통신이 가능한 LoRa 모듈을 적용하였다. 실제 하드웨어 구현을 통해 제안한 시스템의 동작 성능을 확인하였다.

ENHANCED FUZZY SLIDING MODE CONTROLLER FOR LAUNCH CONTROL OF AMT VEHICLE USING A BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR DRIVE

  • Due to the clutch's non-linear dynamics, time-delays, external disturbance and parameter uncertainty, the automated clutch is difficult to control precisely during the launch process or automatic mechanical transmission (AMT) vehicles. In this paper, an enhanced fuzzy sliding mode controller (EFSMC) is proposed to control the automated clutch. The sliding and global stability conditions are formulated and analyzed in terms of the Lyapunov full quadratic form. The chattering phenomenon is handled by using a saturation function to replace the pure sign function and fuzzy logic adaptation system in the control law. To meet the real-time requirement of the automated clutch, the region-wise linear technology s adopted to reduce the fuzzy rules of the EFSMC. The simulation results have shown hat the proposed controller can achieve a higher performance with minimum reaching time and smooth control actions. In addition, our data also show that the controller is effective and robust to the parametric variation and external disturbance.

하우스멜론 수확자동화를 위한 원격영상 처리알고리즘 개발 (Development of Tele-image Processing Algorithm for Automatic Harvesting of House Melon)

  • Hybrid robust image processing algorithm to extract visual features of melon during the cultivation was developed based on a wireless tele-operative interface. Features of a melon such as size and shape including position were crucial to successful task automation and future development of cultivation data base. An algorithm was developed based on the concept of hybrid decision-making which shares a task between the computer and the operator utilizing man-computer interactive interface. A hybrid decision-making system was composed of three modules such as wireless image transmission, task specification and identification, and man-computer interface modules. Computing burden and the instability of the image processing results caused by the variation of illumination and the complexity of the environment caused by the irregular stem and shapes of leaves and shades were overcome using the proposed algorithm. With utilizing operator's teaching via LCD touch screen of the display monitor, the complexity and instability of the melon identification process has been avoided. Hough transform was modified for the image obtained from the locally specified window to extract the geometric shape and position of the melon. It took less than 200 milliseconds processing time.

다중-홉 선박 통신 네트워크를 위한 애드혹 자율 구성 TDMA 방식의 수율 성능 분석 (Throughput Analysis of ASO-TDMA in Multi-hop Maritime Communication Network)

  • 항해 중인 선박과 육상기지국간에 VHF 대역을 통해 다중-홉 데이터 통신을 수행하기 위해 애드-혹 자율 구성 TDMA (Ad Hoc Self-Organizing TDMA: ASO-TDMA) 방식이 제안된 바 있으며, 이를 통해 해로를 따라 넓은 영역에 걸쳐 항해 중인 선박들이 분산적으로 무선 자원을 공유하면서 다중-홉 애드-혹 네트워크를 구성할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 마코프 체인 모델을 기반으로 ASO-TDMA 방식 매체접근제어 프로토콜의 평균 수율 성능을 분석한다. 또한, 모의실험을 통해 수학적 분석 결과를 검증하고, 각 홉 영역에서 부프레임의 크기와 선박의 수에 따라 수율을 최대화하기 위한 최적의 전송률이 존재함을 보인다.

  • 어업통신에서 출어선의 위치보고를 디지털화하여 VMS(Vessel Monitering system)를 구축하기 위하여는 체계적인 정보의 관리와 운용이 필요하다. 또한 위치정보의 체계적인 관리를 위해서는 먼저 정보의 권역화 및 집중화가 선행되어야 한다. 지역의 전파환경, 출어선의 조업해역, 어선세력, 트래픽량 등을 고려하여 권역을 구분하고, 권역별로 선위정보를 수집하여 이것을 본부에 집중하면 VMS의 DB를 구현할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 VMS를 구축하기 위한 어업정보망의 구축과 어선의 위치정보를 자동으로 전송하는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

산업차량용 토크컨버터의 작동 안정성 평가 방법에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Method of the Operation Stability of a Torque Converter Mounted on Industrial Vehicle)

  • This paper presents the induced mathematical modeling equations for evaluating the operation stability with automatic transmission of heavy duty vehicle. This theoretical approach indicates that linearized governing equations of system can be converted into eigen-value problems. if the eigen-value has positive number, we can predict the engine operating point locates an unstable operating region. To be a stable state, the unstable operating point diverges toward a stable point which is able to maintain uniform velocity. Based on the previous theoretical analysis, we carry out dynamic simulation to show the behavior of engine operating point and torque converter in transient state. As a result of the dynamic simulation, the suggested theoretical method is found to be reasonable for evaluating the operation stability of a torque converter. In addition, the numerical results explain the engine stops and fluctuating phenomenon in reality.
