기존선 속도 향상을 위한 발리스를 이용하는 열차간격제어 기술에 대한 연구 (The Study on Train Separation Control Technology using Balise for Conventional Line Speed Up)

  • 한국철도공사에서는 기존선의 신호시스템을 지상의 ATS 시스템에 의한 신호 현시에 따라 운전자가 제한속도 이내로 열차를 운전하던 방식에서 지상의 발리스로부터 이동권한을 전송받아 차상신호시스템(ATP)에서 Speed Profile을 생성하여 운전하는 Bombardier Transport사의 ATP 시스템으로 개량하고 있다. 한국철도기술연구원에서는 기존선의 속도 향상을 위해 틸팅열차를 개발하여 10만 km 주행시험 중이며, 중앙선에 투입이 가시화되고 있다. 이러한 틸팅열차를 ATP 시스템에 의해 운전할 때 곡선구간에서 현재 제한되어지고 있는 곡선부 통과 속도를 증속하는 것이 쉽지 않은 형편이다. 따라서 향후 ATP 시스템의 국산화 개발이 이루어질 것을 대비하여 선행적으로 ATP 시스템의 핵심 기술인 선행열차에 따른 후행열차의 안전제동모델 및 열차간격제어 기술을 연구 개발할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 발리스를 이용하는 ATP 시스템의 안전제동모델 및 열차간격제어 기술을 개발하고 그 성능을 시뮬레이션 하였다.

  • 차세대 한국형 고속열차는 분산형 시스템으로 최고속도 400km/h, 운행속도 350km/h을 목표로 개발중에 있다. 차세대 고속열차의 신호시스템은 기존선의 자동열차정지(ATS, Automatic Train Stop) 및 자동열차방호(ATP, Automatic Train Protection)와 고속선의 자동열차제어(ATC, Automatic Train Control) 신호방식을 모두 사용하는 ATP+ATS+ATC 형태의 차상장치가 개발 설치될 예정이다. 따라서 이러한 장치의 개발과 연계하여 차세대 한국형 고속열차는 기존 경부고속선에서 시험주행을 할 예정이다. 따라서 기존 경부고속선에서 차세대 고속열차의 최고 속도시험를 위한 신호분야의 방안을 검토하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 3가지의 방안을 제시하여 적합성과 운영효율성을 고려하여 최적의 방안을 도출하는 방식으로 전개할 예정이다.

  • Communication based train control system is applied regularly worldwide. And this system may be used in domestic soon. Communication based train control system does not depend on conventional track circuit. Therefore, position and distance control of train to prevent collision with leading train may become important safety factor. This paper developed collision avoidance algorithm to control trains of several units efficiently for this. In developing a collision avoidance algorithm, it is desirable to avoid the need for additional system. Additional system restricts the development of the algorithm by limiting the effectiveness of the algorithm to only those areas where the additional system can be afforded and has been installed.

  • This paper proposes the train control system for the LRT(light rail transit). With regard to information processing in car, we build a computer network in the car, turned the hardware required for train control into software, and developed the train control monitoring system(TCMS) and ATC. Drive type of train control system car can drive with driverless mode basically, and this paper applied special communication type for car control, data analysis, the propulsion efforts and breaking effort can control the cars. It is used vector control in propulsion control and proposed operating pattern for propulsion control thinking operating data of rubber tire LRT.

  • The carborne Automatic Train Control(ATC) system keeps automatically optimum train speed code signals from wayside(track) circuit equipment. If there is no response for braking against the over speed detected, the driver will be noticed instantly by visual and audible warning signals. And then the ATC processes into braking mode for safe train operations to prevent any hazards by over speed limit. In this paper we are introduced the novel ATC system which has triple constructed structure made by 32 bit floating point DSP(ADSP21020-20) and process dealed with frequency domain and time domain for detecting signals. Owing to these reason it is no needed several band pass filters used in conventional ATC systems to detect the speed limit frequency. Also system's reliability and tolerance are incremented by adopt to 2 out of 3 logic to the outputs decision.

  • This paper propose the safety design of automatic train control system which is used for controlling and monitoring train speed not to excess a permitted speed. Safety activities are shown for the computerized system to achieve a required safety requirement. The safety activities are composed of system dynamic modelling to identify potential hazards contained in the target system, to analyze sub system faults to provoke the hazards. Risks analysis are carried out to estimate losses caused from the hazards to allocate safety requirement. We Proposed design solutions for sub system to meet safety requirement.

  • Counter shaft transmission is a popular automatic transmission power train in construction vehicles such as wheel loader and forklift. The gear train layout of counter shaft transmission is a very basic and important development stage because it affects the most of components design including hydraulic system and shift control algorithm, etc. This paper presents a design methodology for the gear train layout from the analysis of power flow path and clutch hook-up of the existing counter shaft transmission that is adopted in commercialized construction vehicles. Also, independent constraints for the meshed gear ratios are derived in order to realize forward 4-speed and reverse 3-speed gear ratio. The layout design principle proposed here was applied to the new original counter shaft transmission that is underdevelopment.
