  • 3D Modeling Solution can reduce projecting error and also make possible to design visually, so that it can minimize human resources. On the other hand, it has defects of operating difficulties caused by too much complex function, thus it consequently prevent user from prompt handling. According to this paper, the developed party S/W will help that user can construct the parts easily, can let everybody use 3D modeling solution readily, and make fast development of new product. This software will carry out prompt development of new product and derive satisfaction of customers from high quality. Also, saving time and expense naturally raise competitive power in consequence.

A Basic Study on the Development of Garlic Seeder (경운기 부착형 마늘 파종기 개발을 위한 기초연구)

  • Cultivation area of garlics is 9% of all cultivation area of vegetables. The amount of annual demand is increased in 1,000~1,500ton. Also, the amount of demand per person has a tendency to increase as above 10kg. So, garlics has become important crops in agriculture. The purpose of this study is to acquire the basic information to design the garlic seeder attached power tiller. We used Working Model 3D program to design an automatic aligning device which is the most important part of the garlic seeder. The results are as follows; 1. The optimum depth of garlics seeding was shown as 3cm. 2. The garlic seed has to he discharged from the garlic seeder at intervals of 0.75sec in order to seed at intervals of seeds of 15cm. 3. The optimum design factors of the automatic aligning device were shown as cylinder diameter of 4cm, cylinder gap of 1cm, revolution of 36rpm and inclined angle of cylinder of $8.4^{\circ}$.

Construction of an Automatic Instruction-Set Extension System for Efficient ASIP Design (효율적인 ASIP 설계를 위한 자동 인스트럭션 확장 시스템 구축)

  • This thesis proposes an automatic instruction extension system that utilizes retargetable compiler, based on MDL, to design an ASIP optimized for application. The proposed system uses information gathered from the application program to find all possible expandable instruction candidates. Expandable instruction candidates acquire the realization characteristics through hardware library. The system chooses instruction set and optimizes processor structure satisfying constraints on the bases of hardware characteristics and increase in execution speed. To confirm the efficiency of the proposed system, automatic instruction extension system was performed using various benchmark applications. The proposed system acquired optimized instruction set and processor structure, which are expanded from the commercial version of ARM9TDMI. Experimental results show that number of execution cycle has been reduced by 33.5% when compared to conventional version of ARM9TDMI, while area has been slightly increased.

  • When companies or institutes manage data, in order to utilize it as useful resources for decision-making, it is essential to offer precise and reliable data. While most small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutes have been investing a great amount of money in management and maintenance of their data systems, the investment in data management has been inadequate. When public institutions establish their data systems, inspection has been constantly carried out on the data systems in order to improve safety and effectiveness. However, their capabilities in improving the quality of data have been insufficient. This study develops an automatic tool to diagnose the quality of data in a way to diagnose the data quality condition of the inspected institute quantitatively at the stage of design and closure by inspecting the data system and proves its practicality by applying the automatic tool to inspection. As a means to diagnose the quality, this study categorizes, in the aspect of quality characteristics, the items that may be improved through diagnosis at the stage of design, the early stage of establishing the data system and the measurement items by the quality index regarding measurable data values at the stage of establishment and operation. The study presents a way of quantitative measurement regarding the data structures and data values by concretizing the measurement items by quality index in a function of the automatic tool program. Also, the practicality of the tool is proved by applying the tool in the inspection field. As a result, the areas which the institute should improve are reported objectively through a complete enumeration survey on the diagnosed items and the indicators for quality improvement are presented quantitatively by presenting the quality condition quantitatively.

  • The purpose of this paper is to design, implement and test the automatic marking system for programming languages using key-words and boolean operations to solve the processing problems of natural languages. There are accurate grammar systems and key-words in programming languages. Using these characteristics, We have designed, programmed, and tested automatic marking system for programming languages through key-words and boolean operations in this paper. We have categorized programming languages into 7 types as the type of answer and when a professor input any key-words, the system make him put conjunction with the special character. It can be logical expressions instantly so that the system easily operates. We asked 10 students who are majoring in computer engineering to take a test on the paper and web to show how well automatic marking system that we have programmed works. Then We requested 3 professors if the subject problems marked objectively. As a result, automatic marking system proved to be appropriate. We have proposed the way of using key-words and boolean operation for prohibiting huge natural language processing in marking of subjective question. It promotes efficiency rate of programming, objectivity and speed through the transferal to the web for marking since the system prohibits marker to include personal opinion on marking and gives feedback quickly

  • The CAD/CAM system for the manufacturing automation is the newest technology in mechanical engineering area and becomes the important research subject nowadays. Most of all hardwares and softwares for the CAD/CAM system used in the our manufacturing companies such as automobile company are developed by the foreign country and the purchasing price of them is very expensive but their applicability to a certain area is very limited. This study was conducted to develope a CAD/CAM system for the design and the automatic manufacturing of the iron pattern shaped with 3 - dimensional free curved surface, and to test its applicability to the design and the manufacturing of the rotary blade. The results obtained from the study are as follow; 1. The CAD system which can process graphic procedures from the free curved surface shaped data was developed with personal computer. 2. The CAM main program was developed. This main program could produce CL data from CAD data file by checking the tool interference according to the cutting mode. 3. The sub. program which can simulate the tool trace from the CL data was developed. 4. The post processor for the Deckel FP2NC NC milling machine from CL data file was developed and the sub program could transmit NC program through modem to NC milling machine was developed. 5. The developed CAM system seemed to be applicable to any other system. Because the measuring results of the cross sectional thickness of the plastic model from the manufacturing iron pattern by the system showed that this system could properly check the tool interference. 6. In took 75~90 hours to manufacture two iron patterns of rotary blade. For the sake of convenience in applying to the other systems, this system was developed in BASIC and FORTRAN computer language and minimum portion of machine language as possible.

A Study on the Design and Strength Evaluation of the Pipe Support Structure and Hull Reinforcement (파이프 지지구조와 하부 보강의 설계와 강도 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In the case of gas carriers and oil tankers, pipes are installed on the upper deck as a moving passage to load LPG, LNG, crude oil, etc. Pipes used for loading or unloading liquid cargo in cargo holds are connected to the hull through support structures. However, many cases of hull damage have been reported where the various equipment and support structures are installed on the upper deck. It is assumed that not only the structural discontinuity where the hull and the pipe support structure meet, but also action due to the pipe loads and the hull girder bending moment are simultaneously affected. This paper deals with the design and strength evaluation of the support structure of pipes and cables installed on the upper deck of commercial ships and offshore structures. For these supporting structures, design conditions and working loads were defined. The design procedure was established through the structure analysis on the method of determining the member dimensions. A series of finite element analysis was performed on the factors to be considered in the design and the effects were discussed. The accuracy and design periods of the strength evaluation was improved and reduced by application of the automation program in the finite element analysis. It is also expected that the design reliability of the shipyard is improved.

  • This paper concentrates on the development of a computational design program to determine nozzle size in water jet, combing the numerical optimization technique with the flow analysis code. To achieve the above objective, a two-dimensional model was developed for investigating the fluid flow in water jet and calculating the velocity and pressure distributions. The mathematical formulation as a standard ${k}-\varepsilon$ model was solved employing a general thermo fluid-mechanics computer program, PHOENICS code, which is based on the Semi-Implicit Method Pressure Linked Equations(SIMPLE) algorithm. The developed code was applied to water jet design to determine the nozzle size, and investigated the effect of the change of nozzle location. Calculated results showed that the flow pattern is not changed as the change of nozzle location.

  • Currently, the record of part-timer is mainly written in handwriting or using excel work schedule, paper work recorder, and time attendance program using POS program. And, work table, commute records, paycheck are managed separately. Time-attendance information is not linked and is managed separately, and payment of wages is often not done accurately. And, it is difficult to pay the wages because it is not able to accurately grasp the state of attendance of part-timer. Therefore, it is necessary to have a transparent wage and work management system based on the trust between the owner and the part-timer. In this paper, we design a system that can perform real-time commute check using beacon, transparent wage management, wage calculation by automatic calculation, and smooth communication between owner and the part-timer. We have also implemented a store management mobile application using Android Studio 2.3, Eclipse, Android 5.1 and Beacon devices in a MySQL environment.

  • This study is, by assigning ASCII codes hardly used to Bandaljum(ˇ) and making the fonts of Korean-English character mode, to design the way of converting automatically a word, a sentence or a document of korean into phonetic letters by applying the algorismized phonological principles inputted as a letter string, even though a user do not konw the basic principles of the usage of Korean-to-Romanization notation rule. This is designed so that it may be possible to turn into a mechanical code with reference to the corresponding character in the table of Korean-to-Romanization notation rule that is the currently used standard proposition of the government. Consequently this program makes it user more convenient in the manipulations of special case words, the assistance of colorful-screen or pull-down, pop-up menu and the adoptation of utilizable mouse works for a user convienency. This program could be installed in a single diskette of 5.25"(2HD) and be made in C programming language to mplement various font, expansion or condense of font, alternative printing.ting.
