Information integration of heterogeneous digital parts libraries or electronic pars catalogs is one of issues in B2B procurements. We need to provide an integrated view for multiple information sources. Utilization of ontologies as the metadata descriptions of the information sources can provide an integrated view. However, in order to integrate independently developed ontologies, the mismatches among them should be resolved. In this paper, we propose an ontology of meta-concepts, i.e. meta-ontology. The meta-concepts play the role of vocabulary to describe the parts library ontologies and provide well-established ontological semantics that helps the ontology modelers to consistently identify parts library concepts and systematically structure them. Consequently, the meta-ontology reduces the differences in the way the parts knowledge is interpreted and ensures the mismatches are confined to manageable mis matches, so that a software program can merge automatically. Modeling ontologies of mold and die parts libraries for B2B e-commerce is taken as an example to show how to use the meta-ontology. We also discuss how a parts library mediation system can automatically merge the well-structured parts library ontologies.

Predictions of wind speed for six different near-shore sites were made using the NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) wind data. The distances between the NCAR sites and prediction sites were varied between 40km and 150km. A well-known wind energy prediction program, WindPRO, was used. The prediction results were compared with the measured data from the AWS(Automated Weather Stations). Although the NCAR wind data were located far away from the AWS sites, the prediction errors were within 9% for all the cases. In terms of sector-wise wind energy distributions, the predictions were fairly close to the measurements, and the error in predicting main wind direction was less than $30^{\circ}$. This proves that the NCAR wind data are very useful in roughly estimating wind energy in offshore or near-shore sites where offshore wind farm might be constructed in Korea.
Myocardial perfusion imaging has been increasingly used to provide prognostic data and guidance on the choice of appropriate management of patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease. The electrocardiogram gated myocardial SPECT program is corning into wide use with an advent of $^{99m}Tc-labeled$ tracers and an improvement of SPECT machines. The gated technique permits measurement of important cardiac prognostic indicators without any further discomforts or radiation burden in patients underwent standard myocardial perfusion SPECT. In addition, gated study significantly improves diagnostic yield by reducing the number of borderline interpretations and could find myocardial stunning and viable myocardium. Gated single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging allows the automated calculation of end-diastolic volume, end-systolic volume, ejection fraction, myocardial mass and the assessment of regional wall motion and thickening, and it have dramatically improved assessment of coronary artery disease in routine nuclear practice. This allows the simultaneous assessment of both perfusion and function within the same acquisition, and serves as a cost-effective technique for providing more diagnostic data with fewer diagnostic tests. Because the diagnostic and prognostic power derived from knowledge of left ventricular function can be added to that provided by assessing myocardial perfusion, gated SPECT imaging has rapidly gained widespread acceptance and is now used on a routine clinical basis in a growing number of laboratories, including South Korea. The gated SPECT technique for measurement of left ventricular parameters has been validated against a variety of well established techniques. In this work, overview of gated myocardial perfusion SPECT focus on functional parameters is presented.

A new type of gerotor developed in this paper has the inner rotor designed by inserting a polycircular-arc between the hypocycloid and epicycloid curves, and we also suggest that the outer rotor be designed using the closed-form equation for the inner rotor and a method of modification. Thus, it is possible to design a gerotor for which there is no cusp and loop, as in this case undercut is prevented. We developed automated program for rotor design and calculation of the flow rate and flow rate irregularity. And we also demonstrate the superior performance of the gerotor developed in this study by analyzing the internal fluid flow using a commercial computation fluid dynamics-code (CFD).

The equations of motion for an automated guide-way transit(AGT) system running on a path with roughness have been derived to investigate dynamic responses and wheel loads of moving vehicles of the AGT system. A vehicle of the AGT system is idealized as three-dimensional model with 11 degree-of-freedom. The computer program is developed to solve the dynamic equations, and anlatical results are verified by comparing the results with experimental oness. Parametric studies are carried out to investigate the dynamic responses of an AGT vehicle according to vehicle speeds, surface roughness, damping and stiffness of suspension systems. The parametric study demonstrates that amplitudes of dynamic responses and the wheel loads have a tendency to increase according to travel speeds, the stiffness of suspension system and surface roughness. On the other hand. those amplitudes tend to decrease according to increase of damping of the suspension system.

Because of the development of computers and high-technology applications, all devices that we use have become more intelligent. In recent years, security and surveillance systems have become more complicated as well. Before new technologies included video surveillance systems, security cameras were used only for recording events as they occurred, and a human had to analyze the recorded data. Nowadays, computers are used for video analytics, and video surveillance systems have become more autonomous and automated. The types of security cameras have also changed, and the market offers different kinds of cameras with integrated software. Even though there is a variety of hardware, their capabilities leave a lot to be desired. Therefore, this drawback is trying to compensate by dint of computer program solutions. Image processing is a very important part of video surveillance and security systems. Capturing an image exactly as it appears in the real world is difficult if not impossible. There is always noise to deal with. This is caused by the graininess of the emulsion, low resolution of the camera sensors, motion blur caused by movements and drag, focus problems, depth-of-field issues, or the imperfect nature of the camera lens. This paper reviews image processing, pattern recognition, and image digitization techniques, which will be useful in security services, to analyze bio-images, for image restoration, and for object classification.
Vegetation classes, especially grass and tree classes, are often confused in classification when conventional spectral pattern recognition techniques are used to classify urban areas. This paper reports on a study to improve the classification results by using an automated process of considering height information in separating urban vegetation classes, specifically tree and grass, using three-band, high-spatial resolution, digital aerial imagery. Height information was derived photogrammetrically from stereo pair imagery using cross correlation image matching to estimate differential parallax for vegetation pixels. A threshold value of differential parallax was used to assess whether the original class was correct. The average increase in overall accuracy for three test stereo pairs was $7.8\%$, and detailed examination showed that pixels reclassified as grass improved the overall accuracy more than pixels reclassified as tree. Visual examination and statistical accuracy assessment of four test areas showed improvement in vegetation classification with the increase in accuracy ranging from $3.7\%\;to\;18.1\%$. Vegetation classification can, in fact, be improved by adding height information to the classification procedure.

With the increasing availability of high-performance computing (HPC) platforms, uncertainty quantification (UQ) and sensitivity analyses (SA) can be efficiently leveraged to optimize design parameters of complex engineering problems using modeling and simulation tools. The workflow involved in such studies heavily relies on HPC resources and hence requires pre-processing and post-processing capabilities of large amounts of data along with remote submission capabilities. The NEAMS Workbench addresses all aspects of the workflows involved in these studies by relying on a user-friendly graphical user interface and a python application program interface. This paper highlights the NEAMS Workbench capabilities by presenting a semiautomated coupling scheme between Dakota and any given package integrated with the NEAMS Workbench, yielding a simplified workflow for users. This new capability is demonstrated by running a SA of a turbulent flow in a pipe using the open-source Nek5000 CFD code. A total of 54 jobs were run on a HPC platform using the remote capabilities of the NEAMS Workbench. The results demonstrate that the semiautomated coupling scheme involving Dakota can be efficiently used for UQ and SA while keeping scripting tasks to a minimum for users. All input and output files used in this work are available in https://code.ornl.gov/neams-workbench/dakota-nek5000-study.
Land-use change has an important role in the hydrologic characteristics of watersheds because it alters various hydrologic components such as interception, infiltration, and evapotranspiration. For example, rapid urbanization in a watershed reduces infiltration rates and increases peak flow which lead to changes in the hydrologic responses. In this study, a physical hydrologic model the soil and water assessment tool (SWAT) was used to assess long-term continuous daily streamflow corresponding to land-use changes that occurred in the Naesungchun river watershed. For a 30-year model simulation, 3 different land-use maps of the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s were used to identify the impacts of the land-use changes. Using SWAT-CUP (calibration and uncertainty program), an automated parameter calibration tool, 23 parameters were selected, optimized and compared with the daily streamflow data observed at the upstream, midstream and downstream locations of the watershed. The statistical indexes used for the model calibration and validation show that the model performance is improved at the downstream location of the Naesungchun river. The simulated streamflow in the mainstream considering land-use change increases up to -2 - 30 cm compared with the results simulated with the single land-use map. However, the difference was not significant in the tributaries with or without the impact of land-use change.

In this study, we wanted to examine the new vulnerability 'Dirty Pipe' that is founded in Linux kernel. how it's exploited and what is the limitation, where it's existed, and overcome techniques and analysis of the Linux kernel package. The study of the method used the hmark[1] program to check the vulnerabilities. Hmark is a whitebox testing tool that helps to analyze the vulnerability based on static whitebox testing and automated verification. For this purpose of our study, we analyzed Linux kernel code that is downloaded from an open-source website. Then by analyzing the hmark tool results, we identified in which file of the kernel it exists, cvss level, statistically depicted vulnerabilities on graph which is easy to understand. Furthermore, we will talk about some software we can use to analyze a vulnerability and how hmark software works. In the case of the Dirty Pipe vulnerability in Linux allows non-privileged users to execute malicious code capable of a host of destructive actions including installing backdoors into the system, injecting code into scripts, altering binaries used by elevated programs, and creating unauthorized user profiles. This bug is being tracked as CVE-2022-0847 and has been termed "Dirty Pipe"[2] since it bears a close resemblance to Dirty Cow[3], and easily exploitable Linux vulnerability from 2016 which granted a bad actor an identical level of privileges and powers.
