A Study on the 3-D Digital Modelling of the Sea Bottom Topography (3차원 해저지형 수치모델에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, 3-dimensional virtual visualization was performed for a rapid and accurate analysis of sea bottom topography. The visualization was done through the extracted data using the developed program and the generated data using the gridding method. The data extraction program was developed with AutoLISP programming language and this program was able to extract the needed sample bathymetry data from the electronic sea chart systematically as well as effectively The gridded bathymetry data were generated by the interpolation or extrapolation method from the spatially-irregular sample data. As the result of realization for the 3-dimensional virtual visualization, it was shown a proper feasibility in the analysis of the sea bottom topography to determine the route of submarine cable burial.

  • This paper introduces a general overview of the 6000m class deep-sea ROV. Hemire and Henuvy. and then describes its motion control system. It is developed by Korea Ocean Research & Development Institute(KORDI) for 6 years since 2001. sponsored by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and, Fisheries (MOMAF). Hemire is remotely operated by a fiber optic telemetry. where 6 thrusters are controlled by operator in manual mode and by auto depth control and auto heading control in auto mode. In this paper. operational mechanism of manual and automatic mode with some convenient functions for operator is desc.ribed. Finally, results of sea trial conducted at the Philippine sea where a depth is 5.770m are shown.

  • In this paper Statistical Energy Analysis has been considered to predict high frequency air borne interior noise. Dash panel Insulation is major part to reduce engine excitation noise. Transmission loss and absorption coefficient are considered to predict dash insulation performance. Transmission lose is derived from coupling loss factor and absorption coefficient is derived from internal damping loss factor. Material Biot properties were used to calculate each loss factors. Insulation geometry thickness distribution was hard to measure, so FeGate software was used to calculate thickness map from CAD drawing. Each predicted transmission losses between conventional insulation and light weight insulation were compared with SEA. Transmission loss measurement was performed to validate each prediction result, and it showed good correlation between prediction and measurement. Finally interior noise prediction was performed and result showed light weight insulation system can reduce 40% weight to keep similar performance with conventional insulation system, even though light weigh insulation system has lower sound transmission loss and higher absorption coefficient than conventional system.

  • The latest date, No. 1 YouII was grounded and sunk into the sea at MAMHYUNGJEDO ( South brother Island) in Sep. 21. 1995, and M.V. Sea Prince of V.L.C.C also made a big oil poullution accident owing to Typhoon "Paei" at front sea of Yeu Choun on Jul. 25. 1995. The large or small scall scale of oil poullution accident frequently was occurred about 300-350 cases per ine(1) year. The countries advanced in marine relations like as, nited Kingdom and Japan, have perfect system The country of expert education, training and oil recovery equipments in oil poullution accidents. The large quantity oil skimming ship's basic condition need general skimming ship which was high speed and large quantity skimming ability , and hve to store the recovered oil into tanks This oil skimming shop are composit the skimmer whuch move up and down according to the wace movements, storage tank which storage the recovered oil in after side, transfer pump which transformed from flooding tank to separating tank and separating tank which separated the oil mixtures, Also there are cylindrical floated which keep the auto positing, gate which keep the auto positing, gate which protect and guide the recovering oil from sea and balance weight for skimmer balance. The important arrangement is twin arm which moved by two hinge and move te skimming unit by wave movement. In gate of inside, made long wear in the gate bellow position, there are also connected the flexible hose for oil mixtures drop. As use the above natural princile and equipment, we can remove the large quantity oil by developed oil skimming ship.ming ship.

  • This study was designed to evaluate the effects of an Schultz's autogens traning and herbal medicine with various scales on symptoms of UL-syndrom(鬱證). We treated UL-syndrom(鬱證) with Schultz's autogens traning, including herbal medicine and we evaluated the clinical progress of the patient using BDI. After treatment about 2-month, the chief complaint and most of symptoms were subsided and improved. BDI score were decreased 32 to 10. This study suggests that Schultz's auto gens traning and herbal medicine is significantly effective in the treatment of UL-syndrom(鬱證).

  • Control Algorithms of the Auto-Pilot system have been studied for the navigational economics and crew's comfortability since 1960's, when Auto-Pilot system was installed on the trans-ocean ships. At the beginning the PD control algorithm was used with the weather adjust function introduced to reduce the response of the auto-pilot system to the high frequency wave excitation in rough sea. In this study, the optimal and adaptive control theories are applied for the auto-pilot control algorithm. And those two algorithms are compared through the pre-defined cost function to obtain the most effective control technique for the Auto-Pilot system. The parameterization of the ship meneuvering equation for the adaptive control algorithm design procedure was examined and the advantage of the adaptive control was found through the simulation result with the wrong initial parameter value.

  • Water pollution of coast has a significant impact on the fish farm and fisheries. For solving the water pollution problems the fish farms are moving to the open sea. The fish farms in open sea have to operate by the automatic feeding system and remote monitoring system for safety and management. This paper describes an automatic feeding system for fish farms in open sea. Water temperature and fish weight will change depending on the amount of feed. And the fish farm temperature is changed extremely in open sea than on land side. This paper described that the feed amount is calculated automatically according to temperature, fish weight, and the automatic feed system. And the performance of automatic feed system is verified with test model for operation test.
