전북지역 자동차산업 입지는 1990년대 초반 양적성장단계에 접어든 완성차업체의 저렴한 생산공간 확보전략과 정부의 선도기업 입지에 의한 지역균형발전 개발정책에 의해 이루어졌다. 그 결과 부품산업의 기반 없이 완성차업체가 입지한 후 부품 및 소재업체가 입지하는 반대되는 발전 패턴을 취하고 있기 때문에 취약한 지역산업의 구조적인 문제점을 보이고 있다. 우선, 지역 부품산업의 계층적인 구조가 정립되지 않아 효율적인 분업생산체제를 갖추지 못하여 많은 부품을 외부지역에 의존하고 있다. 그리고 대부분의 부품업체는 특정 완성차업체에 전속되어 있으며, 지역 부품산업의 대부분은 단순 임가공을 필요로 하는 저부가가치 업종으로 이루어져 있다. 마지막으로, 다른 지역에 비해 상대적으로 연관산업의 집적도가 낮아 기업유치 경쟁력이 낮은 문제점 등을 가지고 있다. 자동차산업을 지역산업으로 특화시켜 지역경제발전을 도모하기 위해서는 연관산업의 공간적 집적을 이루어 생산과정의 유연화를 창출해야 할 것이다. 최근 자동차산업은 적기조달방식과 모듈생산의 진전으로 완성차업체와 부품업체간의 지리적 근접성이 중요한 입지결정 요인으로 작용하고 있으며, 모듈생산방식은 기존의 공장에서 시도되기 보다는 새롭게 개발된 공장에서 주로 시도되고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 지역단체는 우호적인 기업환경의 조성과 적극적인 기업유치전략을 통해 모듈화된 부품공급이 가능하도록 집적화된 산업단지의 육성을 도모해야 할 것이다.

This study was concerned about mobile web-service of a VMI in the SCM system. The VMI would be a main module part of the SCM and regarded as very important thing on supply chain. Therefore, it was essential to react in real time of materials production and situation of used auto-part in procurement company. We could find an affordable method to realize the VMI in a web service. The web service has made inter relevant enterprise easy to collaborate because of supporting most operating system and frame-work. Moreover, the use of a mobile tools was guaranteed a product recording and requirement of materials to real time in a rapid changing of production environments. The result of this research was very useful to apply the VMI system in medium and small sized auto parts company. This web service package has programmed the Visual Studio Dot Net 2003 and the MS SQL 2000 as database.

Due to its capabilities, RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) has shown its applicability in various areas of business operations. This study describes the successful RFID system implemented in the auto parts manufacturing company called "E" to improve the efficiency of auto parts painting process management. The findings of this study show that an RFID system could help companies reduce manufacturing cost, inventory, and error rate in the auto-parts painting process. The RFID system descried in this study also demonstrates that an RFID system could make production data available real time to the company's ERP system and thus, managers and supervisors on the shop floor are able to make more informed business decisions. The findings of this study imply that RFID systems can be used to improve the efficiency of various manufacturing operations in companies. This study also provides IT professionals with practical guidelines for an effective implementation of RFID systems. In other words, it provides IT practitioners with the information on the success factors for implementing RFID systems as well as potential problems and solutions to them when implementing RFID systems.

This study suggest a plan for a small and medium auto parts enterprises in Ulsan Industrial Complex to do cooperation activity for management rationalization. To derive the plan, it is considered that characteristics of auto parts industry, existing status of cooperation activity, and faced problems of the small and medium enterprises in Ulsan area. Suggested plan may be well used for basic information of auto parts company's cooperation, and may contribute to expand cooperation activity.

본 연구에서는 설비자동화를 통한 생산성 향상 및 제품품질, 공장 환경 개선, 설비 유지 관리 상태 및 제품 불량 유무 확인 등 제품품질관리를 위해 공장현장내에서 실시간 모니터링을 실시하고, 현장 작업시 발생하는 각종 분진을 제거하고, 작업자 개인 환경을 보호하기 위한 목적으로 스마트 공장을 구축하는 사례를 연구하여 제시하였다. 해당기업은 지방에 소재하고 있는 자동차부품기업이며 주요 연구내용은 스마트공장에 필요한 오일필터 클립핑 자동화 및 모니터링 시스템 개발이다. 스마트 공장 오일 필터 클립핑 자동화는 전기에어부품, 솔레노이드밸브 및 기타와 장비부품 가공 제작 과정으로 구분하여 구현하였으며, 스마트 공장 품질검사 모니터링 시스템은 서버PC 및 S/W, 클라이언트 S/W 및 현황 디스플레이 모니터, 운영자 PC, 운영프로그램, 입력단말기 어플리케이션 등으로 구분하여 실제적으로 구현하였다. 본 연구자료는 스마트공장을 추진하는 자동차부품 벤처기업에게 매우 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 보여진다.

Most of small-to-medium sized companies use computer to manage and control their manufacturing system. However, it is real hard to find a company which uses the system properly. There are several reasons. First of all, appropriate software to satisfy user's needs is not available and there is lack of mind to computerize. Therefore, this paper focuses to show difficulties which they will encounter, develop a model of computerized production management system and define proper level of computerization. An experimental system has been developed for an auto-parts manufacturing company using IBM-PC in the environment of MS-DOS and CA-Clipper.

A manufacturer of a durable good typically purchases supplies, including parts for assembly - that are also useful for repairs - from independent "original equipment suppliers" with which it contracts. The manufacturer is a branded monopolist of its final assembled product. To put into effect also a monopoly of the replacement parts, it must stipulate in its arrangements with independent suppliers of the parts that they not supply such patented parts to any other buyer. Durable good owners would then only be able to obtain their requirements of replacement parts from the same company that supplied the durable. This would amount to a tie-in of replacement parts to the direct purchase of new durables. And that describes the apparently widespread practice of automobile manufacturers in India, as exposed in a recent case before the Competition Commission of India (Samsher Kataria v Honda Siel Cars India Limited and others). Here, I will argue that such tie-in enabled automotive manufacturers to more fully appropriate consumer surplus, which induced them to lower the price of new cars, sell more cars and also sell more repair parts. The tie-in expanded the auto parts industry and promoted new entry. The main restraint on expansion of India's automotive manufacturing is not monopoly. It is government protection in the form of tariffs on automobiles and auto parts.

Currently, Korea is actually increasing and increasing demand for leisure such as parts for A/S of automobile parts of the car, as well as trends in borrowing and finished parts are also required a steady increase in automobile traffic daetsu. There is one car and want to be driving a car A/S parts supplier smoothly for many years and that it is often the case if it is not supplied in a timely fashion, it is a reality that many eonseong hear from customers. The study on the efficiency analysis of Korean automobile parts companies is mostly based on the calculation of the size of output such as sales. However, the performance indicators such as sales, operating profit, and net profit are directly related to the cost structure, and this cost structure is affected by changes in the company's asset structure and capital structure. As a result, it is necessary that efficient capital procurement should be done at the same time to create efficient management performance through proper investment. In this study, we aim to measure the efficiency of asset and capital procurement compared to the sales figures, such as sales, generated by 33 primary suppliers who supply parts to Hyundai Kia Motors. For this purpose, this study proposed a DEA cross analysis model that can simultaneously measure efficiency in terms of input assets and capital procurement based on the same management performance when analyzing the efficiency of domestic auto parts companies.

Production management in the automobile parts industry is carried out according to the production plan of the customer, so it is important to prevent shortages in product supply. As the product composition became increasingly complex, the MES System was built for the purpose of efficient production plan management and inventory management, but its utilization is low. This study analyzed the problems of the MES system and sought to improve it. Through previous studies, it was confirmed that the inventory management of the pull approach that actually occurred in the warehouse is more suitable than the push approach based on the forecast of the warehouse for the volatility, complexity, and uncertainty of orders in the auto parts industry. To realize this, we tried distributed MRP by using the ADO function of VBA to link the standard information of the MES system with Excel and change the structure of the BOM table. Through this, it can help increase the accuracy of production planning and realize efficient inventory management, thereby increasing the utilization of the MES system in the auto parts industry and enhancing the competitiveness of the company.
