AE-SOM을 이용한 EVA 생산 공정 이상 검출 및 진단 (Fault Detection and Diagnosis for EVA Production Processes Using AE-SOM)

  • 본 연구에서는 auto-encoder와 self-organizing map을 결합한 auto-encoder with self-organizing map(AE-SOM) 기법을 이용하여 EVA 생산공정의 이상을 검출 및 진단하였고, Granger의 인과분석을 통해 이상 검출 데이터의 이상 전파 방향을 확인하였다. 분석 데이터는 1년 7개월 간의 조업데이터를 이용하였으며, autoclave 반응기의 조업 변수를 주로 분석하였다. 데이터 전처리 과정에서 데이터의 표준화를 먼저 진행하고, 조업의 각 grade의 sample 수를 동일하게 200개 임의로 추출하였다. 이후 AE-SOM을 적용하여 각 grade의 best matching unit (BMU)를 도출하였다. 각각의 BMU를 기준으로 조업 데이터가 얼마나 벗어났는지를 기준으로 데이터의 이상을 판별하였다. 공정 이상이 발견될 시 이상원인을 contribution plot을 이용하여 확인하였고 이상원인 변수의 인과성을 Granger의 인과분석을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과 조업 시 발생한 2번의 셧다운의 전조를 모두 검출하였으며 이상이 발생한 원인변수에서 기인한 공정 이상의 전파 방향을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문은 전문가 독립적 비지도 신경망 학습 기반 다변량 시계열 데이터 분석 모델인 MSCRED(Multi-Scale Convolutional Recurrent Encoder-Decoder)의 실제 현장에서의 적용과 Auto-encoder 기반인 MSCRED 모델의 한계인, 학습 데이터가 오염되지 않아야 된다는 점을 극복하기 위한 학습 데이터 샘플링 기법인 Subset Sampling Validation을 제시한다. 라벨 분류가 되어있는 발전소 장비의 진동 데이터를 이용하여 1) 학습 데이터에 비정상 데이터가 섞여 있는 상황을 재현하고, 이를 학습한 경우 2) 1과 같은 상황에서 Subset Sampling Validation 기법을 통해 학습 데이터에서 비정상 데이터를 제거한 경우의 Anomaly Score를 비교하여 MSCRED와 Subset Sampling Validation 기법을 유효성을 평가한다. 이를 통해 본 논문은 전문가 독립적이며 오류 데이터에 강한 이상 진단 프레임워크를 제시해, 다양한 다변량 시계열 데이터 분야에서의 간결하고 정확한 해결 방법을 제시한다.

  • This paper presents an adaptive feedback based actuator fault detection and tolerant control algorithms for longitudinal functional safety of autonomous driving. In order to ensure the functional safety of autonomous vehicles, fault detection and tolerant control algorithms are needed for sensors and actuators used for autonomous driving. In this study, adaptive feedback control algorithm to compute the longitudinal acceleration for autonomous driving has been developed based on relationship function using states. The relationship function has been designed using feedback gains and error states for adaptation rule design. The coefficients in the relationship function have been estimated using recursive least square with multiple forgetting factors. The MIT rule has been adopted to design the adaptation rule for feedback gains online. The stability analysis has been conducted based on Lyapunov direct method. The longitudinal acceleration computed by adaptive control algorithm has been compared to the actual acceleration for fault detection of actuators used for longitudinal autonomous driving.

  • Reclaimer in the raw material yard is being used to dig iron and coal so that they transfer to main blast furnace. A newly automatic system was developed and tested in the raw yard of Kwangyang iron making. The concept of the proposed system is based on the 3-dimensional detection of pile and auto-landing on the surface it.

A Saliency-Based Focusing Region Selection Method for Robust Auto-Focusing

  • This paper presents a salient region detection algorithm for auto-focusing based on the characteristics of a human's visual attention. To describe the saliency at the local, regional, and global levels, this paper proposes a set of novel features including multi-scale local contrast, variance, center-surround entropy, and closeness to the center. Those features are then prioritized to produce a saliency map. The major advantage of the proposed approach is twofold; i) robustness to changes in focus and ii) low computational complexity. The experimental results showed that the proposed method outperforms the existing low-level feature-based methods in the sense of both robustness and accuracy for auto-focusing.

  • PID 오토 튜닝 컨트롤러는 퍼지 논리를 통해 설계되었다. 이러한 오류 및 오류 파생 의견으로 일반적인 값은 발견적 표현으로 변경, 그들은 퍼지 및 defuzzification 과정을 통해 PID 이득을 결정했다. 퍼지 절차 및 PID 제어기 설계는 개별적으로 간주하고, 그것들을 혼합하고, 분석 하였다. 퍼지 논리에 의해 획득 자동 조정 PID 컨트롤러는 3 차 플랜트 제어 이하의 능력을 보여 주었다. 또한 설계된 자동 동조 방식으로 추적 문제를 참조하는 데 적용한다.

  • This study aims at designing and evaluating light source devices that can stably generate light with various wavelengths in order to make possible PDD using a photosensitizer and diagnosis using auto-fluorescence. The light source was a Xenon lamp and filter wheel, composed of an optical output control through Iris and filters with several wavelength bands. It also makes the inducement of auto-fluorescence possible because it is designed to generate a wavelength band of 380-420nm, 430-480nm, and 480-560nm. The transmission part of the light source was developed to enhance the efficiency of light transmission. To evaluate this light source, the characteristics of light output and wavelength band were verified. To validate the capability of this device as PDD, the detection of auto-fluorescence using mouse models was performed.

Touch Screen Sensing Circuit with Rotating Auto-Zeroing Offset Cancellation

  • In this paper, we present a rotating auto-zeroing offset cancellation technique, which can improve the performance of touch screen sensing circuits. Our target touch screen detection method employs multiple continuous sine waves to achieve a high speed for large touch screens. While conventional auto-zeroing schemes cannot handle such continuous signals properly, the proposed scheme does not suffer from switching noise and provides effective offset cancellation for continuous signals. Experimental results show that the proposed technique improves the signal-to-noise ratio by 14 dB compared to a conventional offset cancellation scheme. For the realistic simulation results, we used Cadence SPECTRE with an accurate TSP model and noise source. We also applied an asymmetric device size (10% MOS size mismatch) to the OP Amp design in order to measure the effectiveness of offset cancellation. We implemented the proposed circuit as part of a touch screen controller system-on-chip by using a Magnachip/SK Hynix 0.18-µm complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process.

  • This paper presents a detecting technique for the improvement in quality by appling the various vibrational characteristics theory. The object of this study is to objectively point out faulty gear by developing the program which can be used to analyze and predict the vibrational characteristics caused by gear wear, deformation and nick of auto-transmission. The fault detection methods by vibrational signal analysis of gear have been progressed in the various fields of industry. These methods have the advantage of being easy to attach the accelerometer without discontinuance of the structure. But not all the methods are efficient for finding early faults. So in the thesis, we completed development of the inspection system of vibration by appling the most efficient detecting methods and verified the system's reliability through experiments.

AVM 정지선인지기반 도심환경 종방향 측위보정 알고리즘 (AVM Stop-line Detection based Longitudinal Position Correction Algorithm for Automated Driving on Urban Roads)

  • This paper presents an Around View Monitoring (AVM) stop-line detection based longitudinal position correction algorithm for automated driving on urban roads. Poor positioning accuracy of low-cost GPS has many problems for precise path tracking. Therefore, this study aims to improve the longitudinal positioning accuracy of low-cost GPS. The algorithm has three main processes. The first process is a stop-line detection. In this process, the stop-line is detected using Hough Transform from the AVM camera. The second process is a map matching. In the map matching process, to find the corrected vehicle position, the detected line is matched to the stop-line of the HD map using the Iterative Closest Point (ICP) method. Third, longitudinal position of low-cost GPS is updated using a corrected vehicle position with Kalman Filter. The proposed algorithm is implemented in the Robot Operating System (ROS) environment and verified on the actual urban road driving data. Compared to low-cost GPS only, Test results show the longitudinal localization performance was improved.
