  • The floating ring seal is often used in the turbopump (TP) unit of liquid rocket engine (LRE) owing to its inherent ability of minimizing the leakage flow and superior dynamic characteristics as well. This paper describes the test results concerned with the lock-up and dynamic characteristics of the floating ring seals in the turbopump. The characteristics of the floating ring seals were extracted from the frequency response function (FRF) by instrumental variable method. The experiment was tested at 7.0MPa and 0-24,800 rpm. And the test results were introduced about the dynamic characteristics of floating ring seal related with the eccentricity and attitude angle.

  • Purpose - This study focuses on an empirical analysis of the factors affecting the behaviors of consumers who are extremely attached to branded products, and who commit themselves to renting them. Research design, data, methodology - The survey was conducted on college students enrolled in marketing classes. In total, 240 questionnaires were distributed. A total of 226 were returned. Questionnaires, excluding those that were void, were used for empirical analysis. We confirmed that the research model is sound by using a covariance structural analysis, and estimated its parameters. To estimate these parameters, a maximum likelihood method was used. Results - This study confirms that prominence and self-expressiveness positively affect brand attachment. Further, positive beliefs about, and the practicality of renting branded goods, influence attitudes toward their rental. In addition, commitment to renting branded goods is positively affected by attachment to the brand and attitude towards goods rental. Conclusions - Marketers should manage positive beliefs in and the practicability of renting branded goods, as well as the self-expressiveness and prominence of such products.

  • This paper is concerned with identifying the determinants of committing digital piracy in university settings. Using a theoretical model based on Theory of Reasoned Action, the causal relationship among the research variables, including intention to commit digital piracy, attitude, subjective norm and fear of legal consequences, is developed. Results from 295 survey responses indicate that fear of legal consequences affect the subjective norm and the attitude, which in turn influence the intention to commit digital piracy. In addition, relativism based on EPQ(Ethics Perception Questionnaire) is introduced as a moderating variable. The relative influences of path coefficients are investigated and implications from findings are also discussed.

In addition, the moderating effect of rewarded-crowdfunding experience was confirmed. In addition, the moderating effect of the rewarded-crowdfunding experience was confirmed, and exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted for questionnaires who were aware of the concept of rewarded-crowdfunding. As a result of testing the hypothesis, it was found that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and risk preference affect the intention to invest in rewarded-crowdfunding. Also, we could find that perceived behavior control and risk preference were moderately influenced by investor who had experience in rewarded-crowdfunding. The subjects of this study were 191 male-students of 5th, 6th-grade living in Seoul and Kyoung-ki province. The data were collected via questionnaires. As results, Father's rewarding attitude toward Son's aggression was significantly related to Son's reactive aggression. And Father's coercive parenting was the most predictable variable for Son's relational aggression. It is suggested that father's parenting behavior is very important antecedent variables to predict children aggression as well as emotional regulation.
