The purpose of this study is to find the levels of self-monitoring, self-consciousness and cosmetic attitude of female university students and to analyze the relationship between the levels of self-monitoring, self-consciousness and cosmetic attitude in an effort to strengthen external human beauty. The respondents were 264 university women attending a university Chung-Cheong Province in Korea. In this study, a questionnaire method was used. The questionnaire consisted of SMS(self-monitoring scale), the(self-consciousness scale), and a measurement of the cosmetic attitude. Earlier studies were used to create the measuring instruments with some adjustments for the purpose of this research. Factorial analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis were carried out with SPSS 18.0. The cosmetic attitude consisted of four factors, and those factors were related to self-monitoring and self-consciousness. The Four factors were happiness with change, manners to others, the instrument of change, and conformity. It was found that the cosmetic attitude reflected the personal internal mental states; hence, the cosmetic attitude was used as method to express the internal mind. Determining the correlations between self-monitoring, self-consciousness and the cosmetic attitude was useful in understanding the personal peculiarity of the cosmetic attitude. Moreover, in the cosmetic industry, it is likely meaningful to investigate the capability whether the variables of self-monitoring and self-consciousness can be applied in an effort to understand consumers' internal character.
Physical sensor model in pushbroom satellite images can be made from sensor modeling by rotation parameters and attitude parameters on the satellite track. These parameters are determined by the information obtained from GPS, INS, or star tracker. Provided from satellite image, an auxiliary data error is connected directly with an error of rotation parameters and attitude parameters. This paper analyzed how obtaining satellite images influenced errors of rotation parameters and attitude parameters. furthermore, for detailed analysis, this paper generated simulated satellite image, which was changed variously by rotation parameters and attitude parameters of satellite sensor model. Simulated satellite image is generated by using high-resolution digital aerial image and DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data. Moreover, this paper determined correlation of rotation parameter and attitude parameters through error analysis of simulated satellite image that was generated by various rotation parameters and attitude parameters.
Passive attitude stabilization method has been widely usde for attitude determination and control of cube satellite due to its advantage of system simplicity. The permanent magnet installed on the cube satellite passively controls the attitude of the satellite such that the satellite is aligned with the earth magnetic field. In this paper, on-orbit thermal behavior of the cube satellite with the permanent magnet attitude stabilization method has been investigated through on-orbit thermal analysis. THe orbit profile obtained from the aforementioned attitude control method has been reflected in the analysis. The analysis results indicate that the thermal design proposed in this study is effective for satisfying the temperature requirements of the commericial mission equipments.
In this study, causal relationships of belief-attitude-purchase intention for unfamiliar-branded cosmetics (UBC) were tested based on the theory of reasoned action. Data of 249 consumers who have purchased UBC were submitted to the descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, and regression analysis with SPSS. In results of exploratory analysis, three factors of beliefs on UBC were generated and titled as ingredients, publicity, and subsidiary features. In regression analysis results, ingredient factor affected attitude toward UBC while publicity and subsidiary features did not influence attitude toward UBC. It implies that consumers build their attitude toward brands focusing on ingredients that are core elements of cosmetic products. Attitude toward UBC solely influenced purchase intention while the effect of social acceptance on purchase intention was not found. In conclusion, consumers depend much on ingredients when they purchase UBC so brands newly launched or brands without reputations need to focus more on an excellence in ingredients and special functions of UBC to appeal to consumers when penetrating to the new market.
This study demonstrates how VM attributes and VM personality influence VM attitude based on regulatory focus and how VM attitude influences revisiting intention. We used 303 copies of the survey form for the analysis. SPSS 19.0 for Windows Package was used to perform frequency analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis. The results of the study: First, direction and arrangement of VM attributes had a significantly positive (+) influence on VM attitude. Second, fervor and trust of VM personality had a significantly positive (+) influence on VM attitude, while unpleasantness had a negative (-) influence. Third, VM attitude had a significant influence on visiting intention. Fourth, in terms of promotion focus, direction, arrangement, and promotion of VM attributes had a significantly positive (+) influence on VM attitude. In regards to prevention focus, image of VM attributes had a significant influence on VM attitude. In promotion focus, fervor and trust of VM personality had a significantly positive (+) influence on VM attitude, while unpleasantness had a negative (-) influence. In prevention focus, refinement and fervor of VM personality had a statistically significant influence on VM attitude. Only promotion focus showed a significant influence of VM attitude on revisiting intention.
The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of self-forgiveness, the forgiveness of others, shame and guilt on female adolescents' eating attitude, and the mediating effect of shame on the relationship between self-forgiveness or the forgiveness of others and eating attitude. For this research, questionnaires on self-forgiveness, the forgiveness of others, shame, guilt and eating attitude were administered to 700 female adolescents from middle and high schools in Seoul, Incheon and Daegu. Among 683 distributed questionnaires, 640 were selected and statistically analyzed by frequency analysis, t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS Win 12.0. The main findings of the study are as follows: Firstly, grades had a significant influence on self-forgiveness, guilt and eating attitude. Religion was not found to have a significant influence on any of the variables. Secondly, female adolescents' self-forgiveness, the forgiveness of others and shame were found to significantly affect their eating attitude. Lastly, shame was found to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between self-forgiveness and eating attitude.
The objectives of this study were (1) to find out if consumer attitude variables, that is, attitude on post-industrial age consumer value, attitude on consumerism, have significant effects on consumer role performance, (2) to find out if socio-demographic variables, that is, age, educational level, family income, social status, have significant effects on consumer role performance, (3) to examine the independent influences of variables related to each subarea consumer role performance. The data used in this study inclued 573 homemakers living in Seoul. Statistical methods were ANOVA and Multiple Regression Analysis. Major findings were as follows;1) consumer role performance and each subarea consumer role performance differed significantly according to all the variables related to consumer attitude. 2) All the socio-demographic variables had significant effects on consumer role performance. 3) Resulting from multiple regression analysis, consumer role performance and all the subarea consumer role performance had the positive liner relationships with the variables such as attitude on post-industrial age consumer value, attitude on consumerism, educational level, The most influencial variable was attitude on post-industrial age consumer value, and in turn educational level and attitude on consumerism.

The purpose of this research is to increase understanding about 'an attitude' and to develop the contents of the reading attitude survey questionnaire through the analysis and comparison of reading attitude models. An attitude has an individual's perception and feeling about events, problems, people or things, and it also includes the state prepared for reaction. An attitude consists of emotion, cognition and behavior and it is formed by experience, learning or value judgment. Reading attitudes are composed of cognitive factors that represent beliefs or opinions about reading, emotional factors that represent evaluation and emotion about reading, and behavioral factors that represent intentions or behavior to reading. The analysis of the components of the reading attitude models shows the fact that the influencing factors of reading attitude formation are the reading experience, beliefs of reading results, beliefs about others' expectations and reading environments. Thus, the contents of reading attitude survey questionnaires should include such contents as reading experience, beliefs of reading results, beliefs about others' expectations, and reading environments.
