  • In this paper, the design of the in-motion alignment system of Strapdown Inertial Navigation System(SDINS) using Robust Extended Kalman Filter(REKF) is presented. The compensation of errors in the aided navigation system is accomplished by the indirect feedback filtering. The performance of the aided navigation algorithm is very sensitive to the accuracy of the initial estimate, which is the characteristic of the EKF. Unfortunately, the initial attitude error can be very large during the in-motion alignment. 위성체 지향 및 안정화 오차로 인한 영상레이더 위성 영상 품질 저하 해석 (Analysis of SAR Image Quality Degradation due to Pointing and Stability Error of Synthetic Aperture Radar Satellite)

  • 레이더 영상의 품질은 영상레이더 탑재체 뿐만 아니라 위성 본체의 성능에 크게 좌우되기 때문에, 영상레이더 위성의 영상형성구조분석(Image Chain Analysis)은 위성체 설계단계에서 가장 중요한 해석들 중 하나이다. 특히, 위성체 지향 및 안정화 오차는 탑재체 고유 설계에서 유도되는 영상 품질에 가장 나쁜 영향을 끼친다. 이 연구에서는 위성체 지향 및 안정화 오차로 인한 레이더 영상 품질 저하를 분석하기 위한 영상형성구조분석 알고리즘이 개발되었다. 개발된 소프트웨어는 궤도 모델, 자세제어 모델, 영상레이더 탑재체 모델, 클러터 모델, 영상처리 모델로 구성된다. 이 해석을 위해, $5km{\times}5km$의 관측폭을 가지는 1m고해상도 모드 레이더 영상의 원시 데이터를 시뮬레이션하고, 영상처리를 수행하였다 영상 품질을 분석하기 위해 영상 내에 총 25개 점표적들을 생성하였다. 이 연구의 결과, 레이더 영상의 방사 정밀도는 위성체 지향오차에 가장 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 해석되었으며, 최고의 영상 품질을 만족시키기 위해서는 위성체 자세제어 시스템의 성공적인 설계가 가장 중요하다.

  • The chemical factory deals with dangerous element and more advance, human-error analyzes and becomes effective research for the country and region. This paper analysis the form of work-miss on human-error according to a safety accident for domestic chemical factory from 1999-2002. It include the present contents and raise issues human knowledge, behavior, judgment, sensibility as an important counter plan that makes the safety solution of work miss. For the point of view of human knowledge, it takes color standard for works to be effective in work place. For behavior, the test has been for risk Point of work place and infra worker movement, also the workers performed professional work as classify according to work. For judgement, the valuation sheet is reflected to minimize the human-error and the 3rd supervisor does a cross-check audit beforehand. For sensibility, it is applicable for human relations, information, communication by program to the consciousness and an attitude of worker-supervisor.

  • The ring laser gyro(RLG) has been used extensively in strapdown inertial navigation system(SDINS) because of the apparent of having wide dynamic range, digital output and high accuracy. The dithered RLG system has dynamic motion at sensor level, caused by the dithering motion to overcome the lock-in threshold. In this case, an attitude error is produced by not only the true coning of the vehicle motion but also the pseudo coning of the sensor motion. This paper describes the definition of the multi-frequency coning motion and its noncommutativity error to reject the pseudo coning error produced by the sensor motion such as the dithered RLG. The simulation results are presented to minimize the multi-frequency coning error.

오일러각 정합방식의 전달정렬 칼만필터 설계 (The Kalman Filter Design for the Transfer Alignment by Euler Angle Matching)

  • This paper presents firstly the method of Euler angle matching designing the transfer alignment using the attitude matching. In this method, the observation directly uses Euler angle difference between MINS and SINS so it needs to describe the rotation vector error to the Euler angle error. The rotation vector error related to the Euler angle error is derive from the direction cosine matrix error equation. The feasibility of the Kalman filter designed for the transfer alignment by Euler angle matching is analyzed by the alignment error results with respect to the roll angle the pitch angle, and the yaw angle matching.

  • The performance of a strapdown attitude reference system(SDARS) under dynamic environments was analyzed by means of computer simulation. The study is aimed toward the performance evaluation in the presence of translational or angular vibration during 20 sec of flight time. The simulation was based on the error model of rate gyro, and Euler angle algorithm was employed to compute the attitude.

  • This paper presents a navigation error compensation scheme for Strap-Down Inertial Navigation System(SDINS) using electro-optical sensor. The proposed scheme uses the position or the attitude information from the sensor. For each case, Kalman filter model is derived and implemented. To show the effectiveness of the present compensation scheme, computer simulations have been carried out resulting in the boundedness of position and attitude errors.

$H_{\infty}$ filter for flexure deformation and lever arm effect compensation in M/S INS integration

  • On ship, especially on large ship, the flexure deformation between Master (M)/Slave (S) Inertial Navigation System (INS) is a key factor which determines the accuracy of the integrated system of M/S INS. In engineering this flexure deformation will be increased with the added ship size. In the M/S INS integrated system, the attitude error between MINS and SINS cannot really reflect the misalignment angle change of SINS due to the flexure deformation. At the same time, the flexure deformation will bring the change of the lever arm size, which further induces the uncertainty of lever arm velocity, resulting in the velocity matching error. To solve this problem, a $H_{\infty}$ algorithm is proposed, in which the attitude and velocity matching error caused by deformation is considered as measurement noise with limited energy, and measurement noise will be restrained by the robustness of $H_{\infty}$ filter. Based on the classical "attitude plus velocity" matching method, the progress of M/S INS information fusion is simulated and compared by using three kinds of schemes, which are known and unknown flexure deformation with standard Kalman filter, and unknown flexure deformation with $H_{\infty}$ filter, respectively. Simulation results indicate that $H_{\infty}$ filter can effectively improve the accuracy of information fusion when flexure deformation is unknown but non-ignorable.

  • An alignment algorithm for strapdown inertial navigation systems is proposed, in which the psi angle error model is utilized. The proposed alignment algorithm is derived from the Psi angle error model which has been widely used in real-time navigation systems. The equation for expecting steady state alignment error is also derived. The proposed algorithm was verified through real-time experiments. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can be used in the inertial navigation system and GNSS/INS integrated navigation system to get an initial attitude of the vehicle.
