  • Recently, Internet user grows larger every year. So, It brought about lack of IP address. Because of it, IPv4 is being substituted to IPv6. In this thesis, proposed attack tool in IPv6 base, attack detection tool have algorithm which is consist of 2 steps attack confrontation with analysis packet header data using packet capture. and automatic attack isolation tool against attack using tool.

  • Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) cache poisoning is a MAC layer attack that can only be carried out when an attacker is connected to the same local network as the target machines. ARP is not a new problem, but wireless network introduces a new attack point and more vulnerable to the attack. The attack on wireless network cannot be detected by current detection tool installed on wired network. In order to detect the ARP poisoning attack, there must be a ARP poisoning detection tool for wireless LAN environment. This paper proposes linux-based ARP poisoning detection system equipped with wireless LAN card and Host AP device driver

  • In the present internet environment, various traffic flooding attacks and worm attacks cause economical loss. If IPv4 is substituted by IPv6 because of the lack of IP address, it will be more serious. Therefore, we design and implement the traffic analysis tool which can detect attacks by expecting them encountered in the IPv6 environment. Proposed tool is composed of packet generation module, packet gathering module, discrimination module, and display module in X-windows. As a simulation result, it is proved that it can effectively detect DAD-NA message attack, TCP SYN flooding attack, UDP flooding attack and ICMP flooding attack in the IPv6 environment.

  • As we can see from the recent cyber attack, APT(Advanced Persistent Threat) is trend of hacking attack in the World. Thus, HTTP Get Flooding attack is considered to be one of the most successful attacks in cyber attack method. In this paper, designs and implements new technique for the cyber attack using HTTP get flooding technology. also, I need a defence about DDoS attack through APT Tools.

  • Recently, the number of cyber attacks using malicious code has increased. Various types of malicious code detection techniques have been researched for several years as the damage has increased. In recent years, profiling techniques have been used to identify attack groups. This paper focuses on the identification of attack groups using a detection technique that does not involve malicious code detection. The attacker is identified by using a string or a code signature of the malicious code. In addition, the detection rate is increased by adding a technique to confirm the packing file. We use Yara as a detection technique. We have research about RAT (remote access tool) that is mainly used in attack groups. Further, this paper develops a ruleset using malicious code and packer main feature signatures for RAT which is mainly used by the attack groups. It is possible to detect the attacker by detecting RAT based on the newly created ruleset.

  • One of the OSI 7 Layer DDoS Attack, HTTP POST DDoS can deny legitimate service by web server resource depletion. This Attack can be executed with less network traffic and legitimate TCP connections. Therefore, It is difficult to distinguish DDoS traffic from legitimate users. In this paper, I propose an anomaly HTTP POST traffic detection algorithm and http each page Content-Length field size limit with defense method for HTTP POST DDoS attack. Proposed method showed the result of detection and countermeasure without false negative and positive to use the r-u-dead-yet of HTTP POST DDoS attack tool and the self-developed attack tool.

  • In this paper, we describe a SSAS (stepping stones attack simulator) that is automatic tool for testing and evaluation in TCP connection traceback system. The SSAS can pass multiple hosts that are included with hacker, middle-path hosts and victim’s system. And SSAS can also attack through commands to exploit the victim’s system. Usually, hackers do not expose their real attack positions through compromising the middle-path hosts like stepping-stones. Namely, hackers perform the stepping stones attacks in Internet. The SSAS can be utilized by developments and tests of the various countermeasure techniques of hacking. Specially, in this paper, it is used to test the performance of TCP connection traceback system.

  • Hole attack, which is disturbed transmission function through change of routing information, can cause critical results for MANET as non-infrastructure network. Backhole attack, as a typical hole attack, is one malicious attack which is disabled network transmission function by assumption of transmission data through modification of routing information. It is very important to evaluate transmission performance caused by blackhole attack, because transmission performance of MANET is affective with blackhole attack. In this paper, transmission performance is analyzed with MANET under multiple blackhole attacks caused multiple blackhole nodes. Computer simulation based on NS-2 is used as analysis tool and voice traffic is considered ad application service on MANET.

  • Although the cryptographic algorithms in IC chip such as smart card are secure against mathematical analysis attack, they are susceptible to side channel attacks in real implementation. In this paper, we analyze the security of smart card using a developed experimental tool which can perform power analysis attacks and fault insertion attacks. As a result, raw smart card implemented SEED and ARIA without any countermeasure is vulnerable against differential power analysis(DPA) attack. However, in fault attack about voltage and clock on RSA with CRT, the card is secure due to its physical countermeasures.

  • The development and the main features of an expert system for modeling the requirements of durable concrete in chemical exposure, called the Durable Concrete Advisor for Chemical Exposure (DCACE), are described. The system was developed to help improve the quality of concrete exposed to chemical environment by minimizing mistakes and deficiencies in selecting concrete constituents. Using Kappa-PC expert system shell, an object-oriented model was developed where the rule-based reasoning operates on or across objects. The American Concrete Institute manual of concrete practice was chosen as the main source of knowledge. Other textual sources were also consulted for knowledge acquisition. The major objectives of the research were acquisition and formalization of the relevant knowledge and building an expert system for making durable concrete for chemical exposure regarding sulfate attack, acid attack, seawater attack and carbonation. Similar to most expert systems, this system has explanation facilities, can be incrementally expanded, and has an easy to understand knowledge base. The performance of the system is demonstrated by an example session. The system is user-friendly and can be used as an educational tool.
