철도 네트워크에서의 확률적 통행 배정 모형 연구 (A Stochastic Transit Assignment Model on Railway Network)

  • This study is about developing a transit assignment model on railway network. Current transit assignment models are mainly focused on road or urban transportation so that these models, for example, transit assignment model based on optimal strategy generates unrealistic transit assignment. Especially, since the advent of KTX, more passengers are using the transfer route containing KTX but most transit assignment models have a shortcoming that transfer is not considered or is overestimated. We present a new stochastic transit assignment model based on LOGIT considering transfer resistance.

  • In this paper we consider the part-machine cell formation decision of the generalized Group Technology(GT) problem in which multiple process routes can be generated for each part. The existing p-median model and similarity coefficient algorithm can solve only small-sized or well-structured cases. We suggest an assignment method for the cell formation problem. This method uses an assignment model which is a simple linear programming. Numerical examples show that our assignment method provides good separable cells formation even for large-sized and ill-structured problems.

  • A missile defense system is composed of radars detecting incoming missiles aiming at defense assets, command control units making the decisions on weapon target assignment, and artillery batteries firing of defensive weapons to the incoming missiles. Although, the technology behind the development of radars and weapons is very important, effective assignment of the weapons against missile threats is much more crucial. When incoming missile targets toward valuable assets in the defense area are detected, the asset-based weapon target assignment model addresses the issue of weapon assignment to these missiles so as to maximize the total value of surviving assets threatened by them. In this paper, we present a model for an asset-based weapon assignment problem with shoot-look-shoot engagement policy and fixed set-up time between each anti-missile launch from each defense unit. Then, we show detailed linear approximation process for nonlinear portions of the model and propose final linear approximation model. After that, the proposed model is applied to several ballistic missile defense scenarios. In each defense scenario, the number of incoming missiles, the speed and the position of each missile, the number of defense artillery battery, the number of anti-missile in each artillery battery, single shot kill probability of each weapon to each target, value of assets, the air defense coverage are given. After running lpSolveAPI package of R language with the given data in each scenario in a personal computer, we summarize its weapon target assignment results specified with launch order time for each artillery battery. We also show computer processing time to get the result for each scenario.

  • A decentralized robust EA(eigensoucture assignment) controller is designed for an active suspension system of a vehicle based on a full car model with 7-degree of freedom. Using overlapping decomposition, the full car model is decentralized by two half car models. For each half car model, a robust eigenstructure assignment controller can be obtained by using optimization approach. The performance of the decentralized robust EA controller is compared with that of a conventional centralized EA controller through computer simulations.

  • This paper describes a mathematical programming model for constructing the rolling stock assignment plan. This plan is a schedule which assigns daily routings, maintenance activities, and other tasks to trainsets. A generalized set partitioning model which is a kind of integer programming model is suggested as a model for constructing the assignment plan. And a column generation method are suggested as a solution method.

  • In labor-intensive enterprise, such as garment factory, assembly line is widely used as a manufacturing process for reducing costs and production time. However, for the sake of the various working capacity of worker, idle or delay may happen and influence the rear processes. If these unforeseeable delay happened continuously, it may influence the whole manufacturing process and a model, which is called limited-cycle model with multiple periods (LCMwMP), is assumed to evaluate the influence risk. In order to minimize the risk, the assignment of the workers is focused on. In this paper, we deal with an assembly line as LCMwMP model when two kinds of workers exist, whose efficiency is assumed to two different groups. We consider an optimization problem for finding an assignment of workers to the line that minimizes total expected risk, which is exchanged to expected cost by reset model of LCMwMP. First, reset model as a simple model of LCMwMP is introduced. Then, some hypotheses of the rules of the optimal worker assignment are proposed and some numerical experiments are researched assuming the processing time as Erlang distribution. Finally, the other rules on other certain conditions are discussed.

  • Over the last three decades, there are many researches focusing on the practice and theory of RM in airlines. Most of them have dealt with a seat assignment problem for maximizing the total revenue. In this study, we focus on a seat assignment problem in airlines. The seat assignment problem can be modeled as a stochastic programming model which is difficulty to solve optimally. However, with some assumptions on the demand distribution functions and a linear approximation technique, we can transform the complex stochastic programming model to a Linear Programming model. Some computational experiments are performed to evaluate out model with randomly generated data. They show that our model has a good performance comparing to existing models, and can be considered as a basis for further studies on improving existing seat assignment models.

  • Assuring integrity of permission assignment (PA) constraints is a difficult task in role-based access control (RBAC) because of the large number of constraints, users, roles and permissions in a large enterprise environment. We provide solutions for this problem using the conflict concept. This paper introduces the conflict model in order to understand the conflicts easily and to detect conflicts effectively. The conflict model is classified as a permission-permission model and a role-permission model. This paper defines two type conflicts using the conflict model. The first type is an inter-PA-constraints (IPAC) conflict that takes place between PA constraints. The other type is a PA-PAC conflict that takes place between a PA and a PA constraint (PAC) Also, the conditions of conflict occurrence are formally specified and proved. We can assure integrity on permission assignment by checking conflicts before PA and PA constraints are applied.

  • 본 연구는 철도 네트워크에서의 통행배정 모형에 관한 것이다. 기존의 통행배정모형은 주로 도로 혹은 도시 대중교통 네트워크에 초점을 둔 연구로서, 최적전략 기반 통행배정 모형을 비롯한 대부분의 통행배정 모형 이 지역간 철도 네트워크에 대해서는 비현실적인 수요를 생성한다고 알려져 있다. 특히 KTX개통 이후, KTX가 포함된 환승경로를 이용하는 승객이 점차 증가하는 추세이며, 이러한 KTX가 포함된 환승 경로 및 스케줄이 지속적으로 개선되고 있다. 본 연구는 환승을 고려한 새로운 다항로짓 기반 통행배정 모형을 제시한다. 특히 본 연구에서 제시하는 모형은, 통행 시간, 경로의 최소 운행횟수, 환승 저항 등 다양한 변수가 포함된 효용함수가 주어져 있을 때, K개의 최대 효용을 갖는 경로를 탐색하는 알고리즘을 포함하고 있다.
