Simulation Modeling Methodology and Simulation System Architecture for Shipbuilding Processes (선박 건조 공정 시뮬레이션을 위한 모델링 방법론 및 시스템 아키텍처)

  • For several years, a research about the simulation for shipyard and shipbuilding has been performed. This research is based on the concept of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and DM (Digital Manufacturing). Global leading companies and research center are trying to get a good position of PLM, especially M&S field. Digital shipbuilding is to computerize shipyard facilities and shipbuilding processes, and to simulate expected scenarios of shipbuilding processes using a computer model in order to resolve a potential problem such as a bottleneck processes, and over loaded resources. In this paper, simulation methodology for shipbuilding is described. In addition, a local and global strategy for the use of simulation methodology is suggested. Finally, case studies about an indoor shop and an outdoor shop are described.

Preparation and Optical Characterization of Mesoporous Silica Films with Different Pore Sizes

  • Mesoporous silica films with three different pore sizes were prepared by using cationic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant, or triblock copolymer as structure directing agents with tetramethylorthosilicate as silica source in order to control the pore size and wall thickness. They were synthesized by an evaporation-induced self-assembly process and spin-coated on Si wafer. Mesoporous silica films with three different pore sizes of 2.9, 4.6, and 6.6 nm and wall thickness ranging from $\sim$1 to $\sim$3 nm were prepared by using three different surfactants. These materials were optically transparent mesoporous silica films and crack free when thickness was less than 1 m m. The photoluminescence spectra found in the visible range were peaked at higher energy for smaller pore and thinner wall sized materials, consistent with the quantum confinement effect within the nano-sized walls of the silica pores.

  • DSPA311(Analog Subscriber Line Board Assembly) is offer the interface of between analog subscriber and TDX-100 exchange system. DSPA311 is belong ASI block, accommodate dial and MFC telephone subscriber of 32 channel, and voice signal designed for interface with TSW, and 2 and 4 wire loop impedance is 600 (ohm). DSPA311 is consist 4 channel daughter beard QSLM-10(Quad Subscriber Line Module-10) and perform BORSCHT and be possible A/U-law select and GAIN value control by data control of DSPA171(Device controller I). In this Paper, We described the function test program for the DSPA311 Board by using the HP3070CT combinational test system, and an unmanned automatic test system.

  • This paper studies the scheduling problem of storing and retrieving assembly blocks in a temporary storage yard. The objective is to minimize the number of relocations of blocks while the constraints for storage and retrieval time windows are satisfied. We present an integer programming model based on multi-commodity network flows, and the three revised models based on the properties of the problem. We show that the revised models are more efficient than the generic model through the numerical experiments.

Compact LTCC Patch Antenna Integrating a Wideband Vertical Transition for millimeter-wave SoP Applications (밀리미터파 SoP 응용을 위해 광대역 수직천이를 집적한 초소형 LTCC 팻치안테나)

  • In this work, a compact patch antenna based on a low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) has been presented for V-band system-on-package (SoP) applications. In order to integrate it with transceiver block, a waveguide (W/G) to embedded microstrip line (eMSL) vertical transition was designed using slot-fed double stacked patch antennas for easy assembly and wide bandwidth. The $2{\times}2$ patch antenna integrating the transition was designed and fabricated in the 5-layer LTCC dielectrics. The whole size of the fabricated antenna including the $2{\times}2$ patches, transition and W/G was $20{\times}24{\times}5.39mm^3$. The fabricated antenna has achieved a 10 dB impedance bandwidth of 2.45 GHz from 61 to 63.45 GHz.

  • 현재 조선산업은 선박의 대형화 추세에 맞추어 선체블록 규모가 대형화되고 있다. 따라서 대형 선체블록제작을 위한 블록전문업체가 증가하고 있으며, 그에 따른 블록조립 및 정도계측기술 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 그간 수행해온 블록계측과 관련된 각종 데이터베이스를 구축하고, 시스템 기능구현에 핵심 기술인 소프트웨어 개발 기법, 정보 가시화 기법을 제시하고 이를 이용한 인터페이스를 개발하여 본 시스템의 구성요소를 유기적으로 연결하여 사용하는 과정을 시연함으로써 블록조립 정도평가 시스템의 유용성과 기능을 검증하였다.

Ordered Polymer Nanostructures Induced by Controlled Dewetting

  • We demonstrate two very simple and fast routes to fabricating ordered micro/nanopatterns of polymers over large areas on various substrates using controlled dewetting. The first method is based on utilizing microimprinting to induce the local thickness variation of an initially inverted bilayer which allows the controlled dewetting and partial layer inversion upon subsequent thermal annealing. In the second method, the self assembly of block copolymer was controlled on a chemically micropatterned surface produced by microcontact printing, being combined with its solvent vapor treatment. The kinetically driven, non-lithographical nanopattern structures were easily fabricated over large area by these approaches.

  • Polymer architectures containing metal-ligands in their side chain represent a diverse approach to generating multi-functional materials. The ability to define a versatile synthetic platform will enable many chemistries and architectures to be studied. This report describes our latest efforts to prepare these unique polymers; random and block copolymers have been successfully prepared. Subsequent functionalization with metal ions leads to a variety of properties including metal induced gelation, solvochromic and metal ion sensors, and unique hierarchical self-assembled structures.

  • Highly temperature stable mesoporous materials have excellent properties and potential applications. Here we show a novel poly(vinyl)silazane-block-polystyrene diblock copolymer, which was synthesized by controlled/living free radical polymerization with reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) route. The obtained diblock copolymer occurs the phaseseparation on the nanoscale to form ordered nanostructure, which is converted to mesoprorous ceramic after heating at 800oC. This route demonstrates the preparation of highly temperature stable mesoporous silicon carbon nitrides (SiCN) ceramic film directed from highly cross-linking poly(vinyl)silazane blocks with high ceramic yield, which is different from previous pathway.

Soft-Lithographic Fabrication of Ni Nanodots Using Self-Assembled Surface Micelles

  • This study proposes a simple nano-patterning process for the fabrication of magnetic nanodot arrays on a large area substrate. Ni nanodots were fabricated on a large area (4 inches in diameter) Si substrate using the soft lithographic technique using self-assembled surface micelles of Polystyrene-block-Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PMMA) diblock copolymer formed at the air/water interface as a mask. The hexagonal array of micelles was successfully transferred to a Ni thin film on a Si substrate using the Langmuir-Blodgett technique. After ion-mill dry etching, a magnetic Ni nanodot array with a regular hexagon array structure was obtained. The Ni nanodot array showed in-plane easy axis magnetization and typical soft magnetic properties.
