  • In this paper, arc current controller is designed for the interruption of arc fault current which is occurred in the low voltage network. Arc in electrical network have the characteristics of low current, high impedance and high frequency. Conventional controller does not have the arc current interrupt function. Hence, arc current controller is designed for the interruption of arc fault current.

  • In this paper, an arc current controller was designed for the interruption of arc fault currents occurred in a low voltage network. Arc in an electrical network represents the characteristics of low current, high impedance, and high frequency. Conventional controllers do not have arc current interrupt functions. Thus, an arc current controller was designed for the interruption of arc fault currents.

In this paper, arc current control algorithm is designed for the interruption of arc fault current which is occurred in the local electric network. This arc is one of the main causes of electric fire. Arc fault in electrical network has the characteristics of low current, high impedance and high frequency. Conventional arc current controller does not have the arc current interrupt function. Hence, Controller of arc current is designed for the interruption of arc fault current which has the modified arc characteristics.

  • In this paper, the arc welding robot controller using a touch sensor and a arc sensor is presented. The controller is composed of robot controller parts for moving torch, and arc welding controller for welding and tracking. In the controller, an compensated data is generated to control robot trajectory and seam tracking by the arc sensor function. The data is obtained by integration of arc current. Experimental results are presented confirming the controller performance.

  • Arc Fault Current is an which occurrs in two opposite electrode. In this paper, arc current control algorithm is designed for the interruption of arc fault current which is occurred in the low voltage network. This arc is one of the main causes of electric fire. General arc current sensor has troubles for detecting arc currents, thus we would like to propose the arc current detection method without current sensor. In this parer, arc discharge currents within power lines are being detected through the arc current control algorithm.

  • An interface system was developed to offer the welding capability to a robot controller which had not any embedded function for arc welding before, and also an arc sensor algorithm was proposed for weld seam tracking of the welding robot. For the interface system between the robot controller and welding equipments, data communication software and interface connections were composed. The interface system was mae to correspond welding condition, correction data, operation sequence and current status with the robot controller by mutual had shaking and digital signal transfer. Graphic user interface program developed under the environment of windows made it easy to monitor data communication and operation status, and to control welding and sensing sequence. Arc sensing algorithm proposed in this study to compensate torch position error was based on a fuzzy logic with the variables of current difference and current differenced change at torch weaving extremities. The developed interface system could be successfully implemented in between welding equipments and the robot controller, and showed normal status and exact function in data and signal communication between the systems. The whole robot welding system was then examined to verify its welding and seam tracking capabilities in horizontal fillet, vertical fillet, and 3-dimensional fillet weldment. The experiments revealed sound weld bead shapes and also good seam tracing results.
