  • The paper aim is to resolve the issue of ranking to the fuzzy numbers in decision analysis, artificial intelligence and optimization. In the literature lot of ideologies have been established for ranking to the fuzzy numbers, that ideologies have some restrictions and limitations. In this paper, we proposed a method based on cubic picture fuzzy information's, for ranking to defeat the existing restrictions. Further introduced some cubic picture fuzzy algebraic and cubic picture fuzzy algebraic* aggregated operators for aggregated the information. Finally, a multi-attribute decision making problem is assumed as a practical application to establish the appropriateness and suitability of the proposed ranking approach.

  • In this paper, we get state equations based on wheel's rotation, tilt and steering are independent each other in balancing robot. Accordingly, we propose two LQR controllers which are appropriate for rotation and steering control of a balancing robot. And its superiority and appropriateness are demonstrated by a comparison to a PID method. Simulation results verify the possibility of upright balancing, rectilinear motion and position control. Moreover, experimental results show that it guarantees the performance to apply the two LQR controllers to balance the robot.

  • Mobile devices such as smartphones are very attractive targets for augmented reality (AR) services, but their limited resources make it difficult to increase the number of objects to be recognized. When the recognition process is scaled to a large number of objects, it typically requires significant computation time and memory. Therefore, most large-scale mobile AR systems rely on a server to outsource recognition process to a high-performance PC, but this limits the scenarios available in the AR services. As a part of realizing large-scale standalone mobile AR, this paper presents a solution to the problem of accuracy, memory, and speed for large-scale object recognition. To this end, we design our own basic feature and realize spatial locality, selective feature extraction, rough pose estimation, and selective feature matching. Experiments are performed to verify the appropriateness of the proposed method for realizing large-scale standalone mobile AR in terms of efficiency and accuracy.

  • It is very difficult to control a motor and apply a mathematical algorithm using regular micro controller. However we can embody a program using the graphic language faster and easier than using another language and conveniently compose the plate based on a PC through the DAQ board included AD and DA converter. In addition, The controllable system is made due to GUI program. I verified appropriateness of variable of a speed and determining a speed of BLDC motor which is normally used through this program.

  • In this paper, the two-axis theory is adopted to analyze the secondary excited induction generator applied to random wave input generation system. The analysis by the two-axis theory helps to know the transmitted power of the induction machine. The electric variables, like as primary and secondary currents, voltages, and electric output power, were able to express as equations. These equations are help to simulate the generation system numerical model and to know the transient state of the system. As it is preferred to stabilize the output voltage and frequency in the constant level, microcomputer controlled VSI connected to the secondary windings supplies the secondary current with slip frequency. For testing the appropriateness of this method, the input torque simulator in the laboratory to drive the secondary excited results show the advantage of secondary excited induction generator system for the random input wave generation system.

  • Case-based reasoning (CBR) methods are applied to various target problems on the supposition that previous cases are sufficiently similar to current target problems, and the results of previous similar cases support the same result consistently. However, these assumptions are not applicable for some target cases. There are some target cases that have no sufficiently similar cases, or if they have, the results of these previous cases are inconsistent. That is, the appropriateness of CBR is different for each target case, even though they are problems in the same domain. Thus, applying CBR to whole datasets in a domain is not reasonable. This paper presents a new hybrid datamining technique called two-step filtering CBR and Rule Induction (TSFCR), which dynamically selects either CBR or RI for each target case, taking into consideration similarities and consistencies of previous cases. We apply this method to three medical diagnosis datasets and one credit analysis dataset in order to demonstrate that TSFCR outperforms the genuine CBR and RI.

  • This paper deals with the secondary excited induction generator applied to random energy input generation system. As it is preferred to stabilize the output voltage and frequency in the constant level, microcomputer controlled inverter connected to the secondary windings supplies the secondary current with slip frequency. For testing the appropriateness of this paper, the input torque simulator, which generate the statistically varied wave power input torque in the laboratory to drive the secondary excited induction generator, are constructed. The experimental and numerical results show the advantage of secondary excited induction generator system for the random input wave generation system.

  • The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to select good encyclopedias by analyzing the evaluation points for print encyclopedias. For this purpose, it investigates S evaluating categories suggested in the related literatures, such as purpose & scope, authority, accessibility, writing style and characteristics & cost, and then draws and analyzes in detail the specific evaluation points under each categories. In the process of analysing special emphasis is placed on the theoretical appropriateness to each evaluating points, not simply suggesting another evaluation points.

  • Internet of Things (IoT) will transform our daily life by making different aspects of life smart like smart home, smart workplace, smart health and smart city etc. IoT is based on network of physical objects equipped with sensors and actuators that can gather and share data with other objects or humans. Secure communication is required for successful working of IoT. In this paper, a total of 13 lightweight cryptographic algorithms are evaluated based on their implementation results on 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers and their appropriateness is examined for resource-constrained scenarios like IoT. These algorithms are analysed by dissecting them into their logical and structural elements. This paper tries to investigate the relationships between the structural elements of an algorithm and its performance. Association rule mining is used to find association patterns among the constituent elements of the selected ciphers and their performance. Interesting results are found on the type of element used to improve the cipher in terms of code size, RAM requirement and execution time. This paper will serve as a guideline for cryptographic designers to design improved ciphers for resource constrained environments like IoT.
