In case of a specific sector being divided into sub-sectors, this study presents a process for estimating an input-output table, which is frequently used as basic data in fields of energy and environment economics. RAS method, which is universally used for this case, requires information on production, intermediate input sum, and intermediate demand sum for each sector in the new table. But in many cases, it is difficult to secure information on intermediate demand sum by sector. This study suggests a process for estimating a new input-output table without using information of intermediate demand sum in the case of sector separation, under the assumption that information of production value and intermediate input sum by sector are available. The key idea is that the values of many elements in the input-output table after disaggregation are the same as those in the table before disaggregation and that the sum of the elements after disaggregation, equals the values of the elements before disaggregation. The process of estimating the intemediate transaction matrix or the input coefficient matrix is presented by using these information instead of intermediate demand sum information. A small-scale simulation shows that the average error rate of the process proposed in this study is about 11.23% in estimating input coefficients, which is smaller than the 11.30% estimation error of RAS using the information of intermediate demand sum. However, since it is known in the literature that using additional information does not always improve estimation performance compared to not using it, additional research on various simulations is needed to apply the method of this study to reality.

Since the foreign currency crisis, Korean economy has suffered recession and the government launches residence and real estate policy in order to increase the demand and trade of real estate and to help the economy revitalization. 1 As a result, the rate of economy growth is shown the high increase with the figure of 10.9% in 1999 and 8.8% in 2000. However, it brings overheating market as a negative effect. Although, the government established the policy for the control of speculation, the policy causes instability of economy. This study is to analyze the effect between the residence policy and the housing cost since the foreign currency crisis through housing sale price estimation and housing lease price estimation and is to apply the basis data of the next residence policy.

In this study, in line with the era of the fourth industrial revolution, general concepts, technologies, trends, and examples of virtual reality and augmented reality were examined, and based on this, a plan that could be applied to libraries in the future was proposed. As a result of the study, first, it is necessary to construct a smart space as an experiential play space that can satisfy cultural desires transcending time and space by providing immersive contents using 4th technology such as VR and AR. Second, it is necessary to expand experiential cultural support services through VR, AR and MR. Third, to develop educational contents based on augmented reality technology. In order to apply and activate virtual reality and augmented reality in libraries in the future, based on a survey of librarians and users of public libraries, a survey on the application status, satisfaction, and demand of current public libraries should be conducted.

This study aimed to examine the theoretical consideration and concept of hybrid that could be applicable to wood product design, to analyze design trend according to the morphological transformation by means of combination of hybrid material and function, to understand the correlation between type of wood product and materials and to apply it to the domestic and overseas hybrid concept of wood product design study. A study of assembling output by empirical experiment to embed natural resources into acrylic resin in order to develop wood products was carried out. And an wood product was suggested that satisfied lighting and hanger function through a new wood product design development combined with hanger function and lighting function. Through such process, a new design paradigm was suggested to cope with the periodic trend and to induce mass production of designed product. Thus, this study set a new guideline for activating wood product design and attempted to meet the social demand of encouraging new value creation.

In order to accommodate current accelerated growth in customers and traffic. Internet has faced the demand to scale its network dimension both in size and bandwidth, and new service provisioning. One way to solve this problem is to forward If packets based on ATM switching technology. This paper briefly explained technical tasks to apply this If switching technique in ATM networks for building Internet backbone, and presented the directions to approach these tasks. Those tasks are scalability, ATM VC setup and mapping between VC and IP packet flow, traffic management and traffic engineering, multicast, and finally ATM switch architecture to provide multiservice.

The massive increase in elevator usage and a severe demand for energy efficiency have prompted manufacturers to develop various innovative technologies, including AC and gearless motors, machine-room-less (MRL) technologies, regenerative drives, elevator ropes, and LED lighting. In addition, manufacturers are providing software solution systems such as destination dispatching systems, people flow solutions, standby mode, and predictive maintenance applications. Future technologies include electromagnetic levitation, circulating multi-car elevator systems, robotization, and drones. This article outlines elevators' technological advancements. It discusses how to harness new technologies and apply them to aging, modern, and future buildings.

Cross docking is a warehouse management concept in which items delivered to a distribution facility by inbound trucks are immediately sorted out and reorganized based on customer demands and are routed and loaded into outbound trucks for delivery to customers without actually being held in inventory in the distribution facility. In this research, the design of distribution facility for cross docking systems was studied. The objective of this research is to find the minimum number of receiving docks and shipping docks, respectively, in order to meet the daily demand of the distribution center. Two solution approaches are employed in modeling and solving the problem The first approach is mathematical modeling and the second approach is a simulation. The logic developed in the simulation model is expected to apply to the real world situation.

The Japanese "Just-In-Time" technique reduces inventory and unnecessary factors. This technique makes the success of Japanese firms, therefore many Korean firms try to apply it to their situation. But the technique doesn't bare the same success in Korean firms. This paper, therefore, considers the different situations between Korean rim and Japanese firm, then simulates the Pull system and Push system for a multiline, multistage production system. This paper drives the different results of simulation according to variable processing times, variable demand, set-up time and shortages in Pull system and Push system using GPSS. The results show that the performance of Pull system is lower than Push system's in variable master production scheduling and variable processing times.ing times.

Purpose - In the past, designs for traditional products have usually focused on historic techniques. However, this tradition of using historic techniques has now been replaced by the trend of using the innovative design concept. Research design, data, and methodology - To measure future market trends and quality requirements, we apply the results of the questionnaires and analyze them with various experimental processes and a design methodology. In this way, we gauge the impact of the innovative product value chain on the promotion of new products. Results - Accompanied with an innovative product value chain, the product can stimulate the development of enterprise management, which has become the main issue in social and economic development in every developed country, and can facilitate the progress of enterprise management throughout the enterprise. Conclusions - Customer demand should be emphasized as the primary means to solve design problems, to design optimal solutions, to create differentiation with competitors, and to pursue optimal marketing strategies.
