부분부하에서 비에스테르화 바이오디젤 5% 혼합유의 성능최적화를 위한 실험계획법 적용에 관한 연구 (A study on the application of DOE for optimization of blending oil with non-esterified biodiesel fuel at partial engine load)

  • Non-esterified biodiesel fuel is cheaper than esterified that because of a simple manufacturing process that only consists of filtering. Applicability of this on diesel engine with electronic control system was accomplished, then optimization adopting a fractional factorial design and response surface methodology was carried out at 25% and 50% of engine load in this study. Pressure of common rail and injection timing mainly effected on responses as specific fuel oil consumption and nitrogen oxides regardless of engine load. Estimations were 310.3 g/kWh of specific fuel oil consumption and 237 ppm of nitrogen oxides at 25% load, and 233.2 g/kWh of specific fuel oil consumption and 730 ppm of nitrogen oxides at 50% load. Tests to verify these estimations were accomplished and as the results, specific fuel oil consumption was 300.4 g/kWh and NOx was 277 ppm at 25% load and 236.8 g/kWh and 573 ppm at 50% load.

전해액 중 Sodium silicate의 농도에 따라 양극 산화된 AZ31B 마그네슘 합금 양극 피막의 특성 평가 (Characteristic Evaluation of Anodic Film Depending on the Concentration of Sodium Silicate in the Electrolyte Anodized AZ31B Magnesium Alloy)

  • Magnesium is one of the lightest metals, and magnesium alloys have excellent physical and mechanical properties such as high stiffness/weight ratios, good castability, good vibration and shock absorption. However their poor corrosion resistance, wear resistance, hardness and so on, have limited their application. To improve these defects, many techniques are developed. Micro arc oxidation(MAO) is a one of the surface treatments under anodic oxidation in which ceramic coating is directly formed on the surface of magnesium alloy. In this study, the characteristics of anodic film were examined after coating the AZ31B magnesium alloy through the MAO process. MAO was carried out in potassium hydroxide, potassium fluoride, and various concentration of sodium silicate in electrolyte. The morphology and chemical composition of the coating layer were characterized by SEM, XRD, EPMA and EDS. The hardness of anodic films was measured by micro-vickers hardness tester. As a result, the morphology and composition of anodic film were changed by concentration of sodium silicate. Thickness and Si composition of anodic film was increased with increasing concentration of sodium silicate in electrolyte. The hardness of anodic film was highly increased when the concentration of sodium silicate was above 40 g/l in electrolyte.

  • 친수성-고점도 자성유체를 Nd-영구자석과 병용하여 기름밀봉 장치로의 개발을 목표로 실험 검토하였다. etylene glycol 액상중에 $Fe_{3}O_{4}$를 분산시킨 자성유체는 매질의 비등점이 다른 액상보다 높고 점성이 높아서 기름밀봉 성능을 향상시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 본 장치의 부품중 대부분 을 이루고 있는 철강재를 부식시키지 않았다. 본 자성유체중 $Fe_{3}O_{4}$ 농도가 증가할수록 점도 와 자성율이 증가하여 기름밀봉 성능을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 본 장치는 대기압하에서 기름밀봉 성능이 매우 우수하였다.

  • 본 논문은 육해상의 운송장치에 축냉시스템을 적용시키기 위한 기초 연구이다. 또한, 축냉재의 고액상변화에 대한 수치해석을 수행한 연구이다. 수치해석법으로는 유한차분법(Finite-Difference Method)을 이용하였으며, 1차원 비정상의 상태를 가정하여 계산하였다. 또한 용기는 직사각형의 구형용기로 가정하여 대칭의 조건을 이용하였다. 축냉을 목적으로 사용하는 열매체는 염화칼슘 수용액($CaCl_2$) 30wt%의 물성치를 사용하여 계산을 수행하였다. 계산에 영향을 미치는 요소로는 냉동고의 냉기 온도 및 냉기 유속이 있으며, 축냉재를 싸고 있는 용기는 플라스틱으로 가정하였다. 본 수치해석에서 경계층의 두께는 냉기의 속도 증가와 함께 얇게 되고 축열시간도 짧아지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 냉기의 유속이 빨라질수록 열전달이 촉진되어 축냉용기 전면부에서의 온도가 낮아짐을 알았다. 축냉용기의 후면부에서는 경계층이 두꺼워져 열전달이 전면부에 비해 작아짐을 알았다.

천해역 선박 소음 자동 탐지를 위한 인공지능 기법 적용 (Application of the artificial intelligence for automatic detection of shipping noise in shallow-water)

  • 항행 선박의 시·공간적 모니터링 기술 연구는 연안 해양공간에서 해양 생태계 보호 및 효율적인 관리를 위해서 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 실험해역에서 측정된 선박 소음 특징인 광대역 줄무늬 패턴 자료에 인공지능 기술을 적용하여 항행하는 선박을 자동 탐지하는 연구를 수행하였다. 소음 스펙트럼 이미지와 선박의 항행정보를 수집하기 위한 해상시험은 2016년 7월 15일부터 26일까지 제주 남부 해역에서 실시되었고, 컨볼루션 신경망 모델은 수집된 이미지를 기반으로 학습, 교차검증 과정을 거쳐 최적화되었다. 선박 소음 자동 탐지 기법의 성능은 정밀도(0.936), 재현율(0.830), 평균 정밀도(0.824) 그리고 정확도(0.949)로 평가되었다. 결론적으로 인공지능 기법을 활용하여 선박 소음의 자동 탐지 가능성을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과로부터 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안 및 향후 연구에 대하여 제안하였다.

의류제조업체의 패션 정보활동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fashion Information Activities of Clothing Manufactures)

  • The fashion industry of today is closely re-lated with the information activity. This study investigates now they take advantage of the fashion information by analysing some related fields including fashion design. Furthormore this study identify the factor which makes the design activity distinctive and predict and fu-ture trend in design. The purposes of this study through analysis are : to help find the way to facilitate the fashion industry and to develop the fashion merchandising in order to activate the re-cession of manufacturers and to improve competitiveness in the world market and to contribute to the academic achievement in the study of fashion merchandising. In the experimental approach the tasks of research are as follows: Research 1: The application of fashion infor-mation is discussed in terms of process and level. Research 2: The differences of the fashion design activities are captured on the basis of the characteristics of manufactures and fashion specialists and fashion information ac-tivities. The factors are identified which pre-dict and discriminate the results of fashion de-sign activities. The questionaire and interview were conduc-ted among women's clothing manufactures in Seoul and their fashion specialists in charge of merchandise development. The methods of survey were designed on the basis of theories developed so far and on he advice from the social scientists and fashion specialists. the methods were corrected and complemented through the 1st and 2nd preliminary investigations before their application For data analysis cronbach's a coefficient fre-quency percentage average standard devi-ation pearson's correlation coefficient were calculated and t-test F-test(ANOVA) Duncan's multiple range test regression and Discriminant analysis were conducted. The results of analysis throughout the experimen-tal studies were as follows: 1. The analysis of fashion in formation (1) the present application of information a. The source of information : Both the foreign and the domestic information came mostly from fashion journals magazines newspapers and other periodicals, the main source of market information was collected from the survey of popular items in recent years the data about the life-style of customers and their tastes for wearing were widely used as the information about consumers. b. The applicaton of information : The most widely used information was about fabrics. The foreign information was prefered on the whole. The domestic problems pointed out in this investgation were that the domestic journals showed the lack of specialty and the special organizations for fashion informatino were in urgent need. (2) The research of fashion information a. The various processes and levels of in-formation activities: Among the process of collection analysis and distribution the collec-tion process showed a good acheivement whereas the distribution whereas the distribution didn't. In levels of the systematic activities the acceptance of support and the utility of supported instruments the first indicated a high degree whereas the second showed lowest. b. The correlationship among subvariables : There was a significant correlation between the collection and the analysis process. The systematic activities revealed close relation-ship with the analysis process and the accept-ance of support with the distribution process. The close correlation was found between the utility of supported instruments and the analy-sis process. 2. The analysis of the fashion design activities (1) No significant differences were found in the design activities when the characteristics of companies were compared only. (2) According to the characteristics of fashion specialists the one with age experi-ence and high income showed rather good achievement but no significant differences were captured among sex department in charge title academic background education in abroad and field experience (3) The fashion information activities were strongly correlated with the design achieve-ment : The analysis process and the system-atic activity level had a great influence on the design activities. (4) In order to examine which cha-racteristics in (1-3) made it possible to pre-dct and discriminate the achievement in de-sign activities the Discriminant analysis was carried out. The results were as follows: the fashion information activities showed the highest discriminant rate. Next came the in-come level experience and age in that order Those four variables discrimated 37 from 50 who showed great achievement in design area (74%) and 51 from 83 in low achievement group (81%) Thus the total discriminant rate was 77.5%.

Geotechnical Engineering Progress with the Incheon Bridge Project

  • Incheon Bridge, 18.4 km long sea-crossing bridge, will be opened to the traffic in October 2009 and this will be the new landmark of the gearing up north-east Asia as well as the largest & longest bridge of Korea. Incheon Bridge is the integrated set of several special featured bridges including a magnificent cable-stayed girder bridge which has a main span of 800 m width to cross the navigation channel in and out of the Port of Incheon. Incheon Bridge is making an epoch of long-span bridge designs thanks to the fully application of the AASHTO LRFD (load & resistance factor design) to both the superstructures and the substructures. A state-of-the-art of the geotechnologies which were applied to the Incheon Bridge construction project is introduced. The most Large-diameter drilled shafts were penetrated into the bedrock to support the colossal superstructures. The bearing capacity and deformational characteristics of the foundations were verified through the world's largest static pile load test. 8 full-scale pilot piles were tested in both offshore site and onshore area prior to the commencement of constructions. Compressible load beyond 30,000 tonf pressed a single 3 m diameter foundation pile by means of bi-directional loading method including the Osterberg cell techniques. Detailed site investigation to characterize the subsurface properties had been carried out. Geotextile tubes, tied sheet pile walls, and trestles were utilized to overcome the very large tidal difference between ebb and flow at the foreshore site. 44 circular-cell type dolphins surround the piers near the navigation channel to protect the bridge against the collision with aberrant vessels. Each dolphin structure consists of the flat sheet piled wall and infilled aggregates to absorb the collision impact. Geo-centrifugal tests were performed to evaluate the behavior of the dolphin in the seabed and to verify the numerical model for the design. Rip-rap embankments on the seabed are expected to prevent the scouring of the foundation. Prefabricated vertical drains, sand compaction piles, deep cement mixings, horizontal natural-fiber drains, and other subsidiary methods were used to improve the soft ground for the site of abutments, toll plazas, and access roads. Light-weight backfill using EPS blocks helps to reduce the earth pressure behind the abutment on the soft ground. Some kinds of reinforced earth like as MSE using geosynthetics were utilized for the ring wall of the abutment. Soil steel bridges made of corrugated steel plates and engineered backfills were constructed for the open-cut tunnel and the culvert. Diverse experiences of advanced designs and constructions from the Incheon Bridge project have been propagated by relevant engineers and it is strongly expected that significant achievements in geotechnical engineering through this project will contribute to the national development of the longspan bridge technologies remarkably.

해상적하보험계약(海上積荷保驗契約)에 있어서 보험조건선택(保險條件選擇)의 문제점(問題點)에 관한 고찰(考察) (A Study on the Problem of Insurance Terms Choice in the Marine Cargo Insurance Contract)

  • 우리나라 보험통계현황(保險統計現況)에서 보면 수출적하(輸出積荷)인 경우가 최근 3년간 전위험담보조건(全危驗擔保條件)이 95%이상을 상회하고 있다는 것과 신(新). 구약관(舊約款)의 사용내역을 보면 구약관(舊約款)의 사용이 2배 이상을 상회한다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 이는 하주(荷主)의 입장에서 보면 적하보험약관상(積荷保險約款上) 입증책임(立證責任)과 손해보상범위(損害補償範圍)에 문제점이 있다는 것을 설명해주고 있다. 또한 하주(荷主)의 보험마인드에도 운송인에의 구상권행사(求償權行使)가 복잡함으로써 보험자에게 전가(轉嫁)하려고 하는 의도도 있겠다. 따라서 피보험자(被保險者)인 입장에서 입증책임(立證責任)의 원칙과 손해보상범권(損害補償範圈)에 있어서는 화물의 특성을 고려한 동업자약관(同業者約款)(Trade Clause)의 도입(導入)과 적극적인 활용(活用)이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

함정 묘의 파주력과 파주계수에 대한 이론적 고찰에 관한 연구 (A Study on Theoretical Consideration to the Holding Power and Holding Power Coefficient of War Ship Anchor)

  • 본 연구에서는 해군 함정에서 운용하고 있는 묘의 파주력과 파주계수에 대한 계산이 단순하게 특정한 값만을 적용하고 있다는 한계를 인식하고, 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 기존 문헌연구 자료와 묘 제작사, 연구기관, 학계의 여러 실험결과를 바탕으로 함정이 보유한 묘의 형태별 파주력과 파주계수를 비교 분석하였다. 함정에서 사용 중인 대표적인 묘의 형태별 파주력 및 파주계수를 비교분석한 결과 AC-14형 묘는 ASS형 묘나 U.S. Navy Standard형 묘에 비해 큰 파주력을 가지며 이는 묘의 경량화를 가능케 하여 조함의 용이성에 도움이 됨을 확인하였고, U.S. Navy Standard형 묘는 중량의 변화에 파주계수의 값이 민감하게 반응하지 않는 특성을 확인하였으며, Danforth형 묘는 파주계수가 중량에 반비례한 특징을 확인하였다. 또한 묘를 운용할 때 유의하고 보완할 사항을 알기쉽게 정리하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 묘를 운용하는 함정 승조원에게 파주력과 파주계수와 관련하여 신뢰성 있는 이론적 근거를 제공하고 보다 안전하게 묘박을 할 수 있도록 하는데 기여를 할 것으로 기대된다.

신경회로망을 적용한 직류배전시스템의 AFE 정류기 제어에 관한 연구 (Active Front End Rectifier Control of DC Distribution System Using Neural Network)

  • 선박으로부터 발생하는 배출가스에 대한 규제가 강화되고 이를 해결하기위한 대안으로 전기추진시스템의적용이 대형상선에서부터 중·소형선박에 이르기까지 그 사용이 증가되고있다. 전기추진시스템의 효율 향상을 위한 방법으로 발전원의 개선, 배터리·연료전지·태양광 등의 친환경 발전원의 시스템 연계 및 정류기, 전력변환장치, 추진전동기의 개발과 제어방식의 연구를 들 수 있다. 그 중 정류방식에 있어 상천이변압기과 다이오드를 이용하는 방식이 널리 사용되었으나, 직류배전을 이용한 친환경발전원의 계통 연계, 가변속 발전원의 사용, 중·소형 전기추진시스템의 적용을 통해 전력용 반도체 소자를 이용한 AFE정류기에 대한 수요가 증대되고 있다. 이러한 AFE 정류기를 제어하는 방식에 있어 기존의 비례적분제어기가 아닌 신경회로망을 이용한 방식을 본 연구에서는 제안하였다. 기존의 제어기 데이터를 활용하여 Matlab/Simulink를 통해 학습한 신경회로망제어기를 설계하고 PSIM을 통해 설계된 정류시스템에 신경회로망 제어기를 적용하여 부하변동에 따른 직류출력단의 파형과 역률 개선의 유효성을 확인하였다. 이는 공간이 협소한 중소형 친환경 선박의 정류시스템으로써 적용이 가능하다.
