This paper describes an application of information presentation based geographic map for maritime information, including navigation information. The work is motivated by the need to prepare maritime information representation and distribution for future generation Web network technology. This works consist of map generation using GML and application to maritime information. GML 3.0 became an adopted specification of the Open Geospatial Consortium(OGC) in January 2003, and is rapidly emerging as the world standard for the encoding, transport and storage of all forms of geographic information. This paper looks at the application of GML to one of the more challenging areas of maritime information. Specific features of GML of interest to maritime information provider are discussed and then illustrated through a series of maritime information case studies. The first phase of the work consists of the construction of GML application schema for using as a base map of maritime information. Maritime information is acquired from multiple sources, including standards documents, database schemas, lexicons, collections of symbol definition. The sources of GML ontological knowledge and the contribution of each source to the overall ontology are described in this paper. In the second phase, the prepared GML is used to create a prototype of the mixed maritime information as a base map - for tagging documents within the maritime domain. An overview of this prototype is included. One application area for these information elements described here is the integrated retrieval of maritime information from diverse sources, ranging from Web sites to nautical chart databases and text documents.

최근 지리정보분야의 표준화 기구인 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)는 GML과 같은 지리정보 부호화에 대한 표준 연구와 더불어 이를 적용한 지도, 영상 등의 지리데이터의 주석에 관한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 지리데이터의 주석은 지리데이터에 대한 이해 및 의사 결정.교환이 필요한 분야에서 다양하게 활용되어질 수 있다. 예를 들면 관광분야에서 여행지도에 중요 관광코스를 심벌로 표시하거나 구체적인 설명을 텍스트로 나타내는 것이다. 본 연구는 이러한 주석의 기능을 국가수치지도에 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하고 이를 구현하였다. 먼저 국가수치지도 포맷에 잘 부합할 수 있도록 만든 OGC의 주석 스키마의 수정안과 이를 포함한 GML 응용 스키마의 생성 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 주석 활용 결과를 가시화하기 위해 주석되어진 지도 인스턴스 문서를 XSLT와 VML을 이용하여 VML 문서로 변환하였다. 향후에는 DXF 포맷뿐만 아니라 다양한 수치지도 포맷을 지원할 수 있도록 연구가 필요하며, 지방자치단체에서 전개하고 있는 UIS에서 지도의 요소(Entity)를 갱신할 경우 주석을 통해 이력을 관리하는 것과 같은 실제적 측면에서도 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

본 연구는 BIM 기반의 납품체계에서 IFC 파일의 공정정보를 축적하고 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 첫 번째로, 공정정보의 활용방안에 대하여 기존연구를 분석하였고, IFC 표준을 고찰하였다. 두 번째로, 공정요소를 도출하기 위해 공정계획 수립절차를 분석하였으며, 공정프로세스와 상용소프트웨어를 분석하여 공정정보항목을 도출하였다. 또한 도출된 공정정보항목을 기반으로 IFC 스키마를 분석하여 IFC의 공정요소를 도출하였다. 마지막으로 IFC 납품파일의 축적을 위해 조달청의 시설사업 BIM 적용 기본 지침서를 분석하여 개념적인 BIM 모델의 납품프로세스를 통한 축적방법과 활용방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 국가적으로 진행되고 있는 BIM 도입과정에서 BIM모델의 정보를 축적하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Purpose: Headache is a very common disease experienced at least once in daily life, and tension-type headaches have a high and increasing prevalence. Chronic headaches can cause functional damage and huge socioeconomic impacts. This study aimed to compare the effects of myofascial release technique with manual therapy and self-myofascial release technique using a foam roller on the pain threshold and body schema in patients with chronic tension-type headaches. Methods: The study was conducted on 20 patients living in Busan with chronic tension headaches. Myofascial release technique with manual therapy was performed on the suboccipital, sternocleidomastoid, scalene, and upper trapezius muscles. The self -myofascial release technique using a foam roller was applied to the cervical and thoracic muscles. A laterality test was performed using a recognized neck application developed to evaluate body schema ability. A pressure-pain threshold test was performed using an electronic pressure algometer to compare the results before and after the myofascial release technique. Results: After applying myofascial release with manual therapy and a foam roller, the pressure-pain threshold values showed significant changes in both groups (p<.05). As a result of the laterality test, myofascial release with manual therapy and a foam roller were applied to the painful area. The values showed significant changes in both groups (p<.05), but only the group using the foam roller showed a significant difference (p<.05) in painless areas. Conclusion: The myofascial release technique with manual therapy can be the primary treatment technique for pain control in painful areas. The self-muscle release technique using a foam roller can be an effective method when there is no pain or when maintenance is needed after pain control.

In this paper, we introduced a POS(Point of Sale) system for a wallpaper company. We designed the database schema for the POS system, and proposed various application areas of the POS system. Especially, we discussed such application areas as inventory control, marketing, product development, and distribution channel. The quality of product management is enhanced by precise ABC inventory control and safety stock control. Marketing strategies can be more precisely established, and their effects can be measured. The development time can be shortened and new products can be developed based on the real market demands. Distributors can improve their management quality using precise sales data.

Nowadays an information exchange on XML such as B2B electronic commerce is spreading. Therefore the systematic and stable management mechanism for storing the exchanged Information is needed. For this goal there are many research activities for connection between XML application and relational database. But because XML data have hierarchical structures and relational database can store only flat-structured data, we need to store XML data in object-oriented database that support hierarchical structure. Accordingly the modeling methodology for storing XML data in object-oriented database is needed. In order to build good quality application systems, modeling is an important first step. In 1997, the OMG adopted the UML as its standard modeling language. Since industry has warmly embraced UML, its popularity should become more important in the future. So a design methodology based on UML is need to develop efficiently XML applications. In this paper, we propose a unified design methodology for XML applications based on object- oriented database using UML. To this goal, first we introduce a XML modeling methodology to design W3C XML schema using UML and second we propose data modeling methodology for object-oriented database schema to store efficiently XML data in object-oriented databases.

본 논문에서는 문서 화일링 및 검색(DFR:Document Filing and Retrieval) 시스템 에서 DFR 객체의 속성(attribute)을 체계적으로 관리하여 DFR 객체의 효율적인 탐색 (search) 기능을 제공하기 위한 확장된 디렉토리 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 논 한다. 이를 위하여 DFR 시스템과 디렉토리 시스템 상호연동을 위한 구성 모델 및 두 응용 시스템 동작들 사이의 연계 매카니즘, 확장된 디렉토리 스키마(schema), 확장된 데릭토리 트리 구조(DIT:Directory Information Tree) 를 설계, 구현한다. 분산 환경 하에서 DFR 시스템과 ISODE(ISO Development Environment) 디렉토리 시스템인 QUIPU 8.0을 이용하여 구현한 확장된 디렉토리 시스템 사이의 연동 시험을 하고 본 논문의 결과를 기반으로 다양한 응용 시스템의 객체 탐색을 위한 확장된 디렉토리 시스템 모 델을 제시한다.

This study focuses on modeling mobile 3D game engine and suggesting modified skinned-mesh schema based on JSR-184 in order to improve the performance in terms of memory consumption and time complexity. Most of the 3D games have used OpenGL-ES low-level APls, which may limit portability and fast developing time. Hence, the 3D mobile game engine providing high-level APls which works on GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) phones on J2ME, is proposed here in order to optimize the performance for Java environment abiding JSR-184 standard. To prove performance enhancement, skinned-mesh schema on JSR-184 engine is modified and tested. The experimental results are shown.

RDF는 모든 자원을 독립적으로 취급하며, 특정 자원과 관련한 자원을 연결하는 모형을 제공하는 인터넷 자원 기술을 위한 통합기술모형이다. 본 연구는 인터넷의 분산된 정보환경에서 탐색과 접근을 제공하는 의미와 구조, 구문의 공통적인 규칙인 RDF의 모형과 구문, 스키마 명세와 메타데이터 기술요소인 Dublin Core의 이론적인 검토를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 XML의 응용인 RDF를 기반으로 Dublin Core 요소의 DTD 및 스키마, 메타데이터 설계를 구현하였다.

최근 데이터베이스를 이용한 정보처리응용 시스템이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 많은 데이터를 가지고 있지만 개별적이면서 관련성이 적은 수많은 데이터를 가지는 기업은 데이터를 종합적으로 분석 처리하여 사용자 요구에 신속하게 응답할 수 있도록 다양하고 고품질의 정보 서비스를 지원하기 위한 데이터를 필요로 한다 이를 위해 데이터 웨어하우스 환경에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최종 사용자 요구에 대처하기 위해 비주얼 환경을 사용한 데이터 웨어하우스의 효과적인 설계 및 구현 결과를 보인다. 또한 기존의 일반 SQL질의를 수행할 수 있도록 한다.
