This study aims to understand the effects of nursing college students' anxiety about clinical practice and stress from it during the practice on their nursing professionalism during COVID-19 and be used as baseline data to promote this professionalism. The target is 187 juniors and seniors in nursing college located in Chungnam, Chungbuk, and Gyeongbuk with experience in the clinical practice, and the survey was conducted from September to November 2021. The data was analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS 22.0. Nursing professionalism was significantly correlated with clinical practice stress(r=-.151, p=.039). In terms of the factors that influenced the nursing professionalism, the coefficient of determination of satisfaction in major was 5.2%(β=-.24, p=.001), and that of stress from the clinical practice was 3.0%(β=-.17, p=.015), which explains a total of 8.2%. Major satisfaction was the most influential factor predicting greater nursing professionalism. The results of this study demonstrate the necessity to increase nursing students' satisfaction in major and reduce their stress from clinical practice in order to improve the nursing professionalism during COVID-19.

In this study, we introduced the case of college calculus course for vocational high school graduates with coding. We suggest this case as an alternative to overcome mathematics anxiety. Contents, python/SageMath codes, and textbook for this course, which help students to easily and quickly review middle and high school mathematics, were newly developed by authors. Due to the use of codes and chat with classmates in learning management system, most of the students who took this course reported that they no longer felt anxious in complex mathematics problems, had a full understanding of calculus concepts, could solve almost problems in any calculus textbooks with or without codes, and could explain calculus concepts to other students in their own words. In this way if mathematics and coding is properly used in mathematics education, it helps students with weak mathematical backgrounds or mathematics anxiety to restore confidence in mathematics in college. This could be applicable in secondary mathematics education.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to determine factors that affect the quality of life (QoL) of people with diabetes. We hope to provide a basis for intervention strategies for health promotion and related research among patients with diabetes in the field of physical therapy. Methods : We selected individuals diagnosed with diabetes who were aged 19 years or higher by using data from the 2019 Korean Health Panel survey and analyzed the results of 1,527 people. The influencing factors were sex, age, household income, marital status, age, education level, subjective health status, body mass index (BMI), smoking, drinking, regular exercise, experience of depression and anxiety, suicidal thoughts, stress, and frequency of walking (days/week). Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results : The EQ-5D score for QoL was .87 ± .12, with pain and discomfort being the most detrimental to the QoL of people with diabetes. In terms of patients characteristics, the QoL was lower among participants who were female, older, and separated/widowed/divorced; had an education level below middle school; had a poor subjective health status; were non-smokers and drinkers; and did not walk and exercise regularly, experienced a lot of stress, and experienced depression and anxiety; and had suicidal thoughts (p<.001). Being separated/bereaved/divorced; experiencing a lot of stress, depression, and anxiety; and having suicidal thoughts were negatively associated with QoL in people with diabetes (p<.01). On the other hand, age of 65 years or younger; graduation from high school, fair or better subjective health, regular exercise and alcohol consumption, and walking (days/week) were positively associated with QoL (p<.05). Conclusion : Regarding the QoL of patients with diabetes, intervention strategies should be formulated by considering general characteristics and disease-related characteristics. Among the various factors affecting QoL, the number of walking and regular exercise were found to be the factors that improved the QoL of patients with diabetes. These results can be used as a basis for the education and management of patients with diabetes in the field of physical therapy.

Objectives This study was conducted in order to investigate characteristics of temperament, depression, anxiety, attention, and impulsivity in adult males with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and internet addiction tendency. Methods The survey participants were 181 (121 patients and 60 healthy control subjects) adult males older than 19 years of age in Chung-Ang University Hospital and Gongju National Hospital. Subjects were divided according to ADHD with internet addiction tendency (AI), pure adults with ADHD (AD), and healthy control subjects (HC). All groups completed the Adult ADHD Scale (AADHD), Wender-Utah ADHD Rating Scale (WUADHD), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), the Korean Version of Young Internet Addiction Scale (YIAS-K), Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (BIS) and Temperament Character Inventory-Revised Short version for identification of relationship between ADHD and internet addiction tendency. Results AI groups were found to have higher AADHD, WUADHD, BDI, YIAS-K, and Novelty Seeking scores, compared to the AD and HC groups. The Cooperativeness score of the AI group was significantly lower than that of the AD group and HC group. The BAI and BIS scores of the AI group and AD group were significantly higher than those of the HC group. The Self-Directedness scores of the AI group and AD group were decreased, compared to the HC group. YIAS-K scores were partially related to BDI scores in the AI group. Conclusion The results of this study indicate an association of higher score of BDI with internet addiction tendency in adult patients with ADHD. Management of temperament characteristics, depression, anxiety, attention, and impulsivity may be important for adults with ADHD and internet addiction tendency.

Phentermine has been widely used as an appetite suppressant since 2004 in Korea. The authors experienced two cases of acute phentermine overdose and report with the literature review. A 36-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman presented together to the emergency department with taking 13 tablets (390 mg) of phentermine 16 hours ago. They had tachycardia, hypertension and complained visual symptoms, nausea, insomnia and anxiety. These symptoms were resolved by conservative management.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influences of the material values, attitudes toward money, and the background variables to the money use behavior of female collegians. The samples were selected from 541 female collegians. Cronbach$\alpha$, One-way ANOVA, Duncan test, Multiple regression, Path analysis were used as statistical analysis. The results were summarized as follows : Resulting from multiple regression analysis, the money use behavior of female collegians had the positive linear relationships with the variables such as mothers level of education, material values, and 3 money attitude - the means of security, the symbol of anxiety, the means of pleasure - in five money attitude dimensions. The most influential variable was money attitude of the means of security.

Sleep problems and disorders are common in patients with cancer. Sleep of the cancer patients is affected by various factors, including thermoregulatory changes associated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy, cancer related symptoms, such as pain, fatigue, and emotional difficulties. As one of the most common symptoms in cancer patients, fatigue is positively correlated with sleep difficulties. Cytokine is also frequently associated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It provokes excessive daytime sleepiness and hypersomnia. Medications for controlling pain, depression, and anxiety can affect sleep of the cancer patients. Medications as well as behavior therapy are reported to be effective for controlling sleep problems, and the physicians need to be accustomed to use the modalities appropriately. This paper reviews causative factors, evaluation, and management of sleep problems and disorders, experienced by cancer patients.

Stellate ganglion block (SGB) is one of the most widely used treatment modalities for a broad range of disorders, including otolaryngologic indications such as Meniere's disease and sudden hearing loss. We present a case of a vertiginous attack following SGB for the management of Meniere's disease. A 31-year-old female, suffering from Meniere's disease, underwent repeated right side SGBs with 6 ml of 1% mepivacaine after negative aspiration tests for blood. The eleventh block was performed in the usual manner. Several seconds after injection, she showed agitation, anxiety, nystagmus, and left-sided tinnitus. Two minutes later, her tinnitus and nystagmus were resolved. Fifteen minutes after injection, she experienced acute onset of severe vertigo, nausea, and vomiting. However, her symptoms were gradually alleviated within two hours.

The importance of psychological factors in dermatologic disorders has been recognized for several decades. However, there have been few reports on the management of psychodermatologic disorders. Psychodermatologic conditions can be divided into three broad subgroup in the dermatologic point of view ; first, psychiatric disorders manifesting as dermatological symptom, second, dermatoses mainly caused by emotional factors, i.e., stress, or determined by complex psychophysiological mechanism, and third, psychological symptoms secondary to dermatological conditions, i.e., anxiety or depression. This article describes first two major categories of psychodermatologic disorders and attempts to provide brief guideline for each psychodermatologic condition in view of the clinical interface between dermatology and psychiatry.

As the dependence on information systems in enterprises has grown dramatically, the importance of implementing information systems in audit has been increased as well. However, there is a lact of about utilization of information system for audit process. Thus, this study is to investigate the factors that effect auditor's adopting Data Analytics to audit work. Through literature research and focus group interview, we added two factors that affect the behavioral intention to UTAUT model. We have selected performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, anxiety, task fit, behavioral intention as variables and verified hypotheses based on survey questionnaires from auditors. As a result, it was found that performance expectations, social influence, task fit influenced the behavior intention. In Addition, we analyzed adding two variables, IT-related work experience and type of auditor as moderate variable. This study has an implication for companies to motivate implementation as well as activation of Data Analytics technique.
