전통 마감제인 명유의 방미효력 평가 (Evaluation of Anti-Stain Efficacy of Myoung-oil, Traditional Coating Agent)

  • 본 연구에서는 전통적인 방법으로 재현한 전통 명유, 전통 명유를 과학적으로 분석하여 친환경적인 방법으로 개발한 크린 명유, 그리고 명유의 원료이자 현재 목조문화재를 보수할 때 단청의 마감제로 사용되고 있는 생들기름의 방미효력을 평가하였다. 평가 결과, 생들기름은 방미효력이 거의 없는 것으로 나타난 반면에, 두 종류의 명유는 모두 높은 성능의 방미효력을 보였다. 하지만, 명유를 천연용제인 테르펜유에 희석하여 사용하면 균주에 노출된 지 4주 만에 방미효력이 현저히 감소하는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 목재에 처리된 약제의 함량이 명유의 방미효력에 영향을 주는 것으로 판단된다. 즉, 목조건축물을 축조함에 있어서 명유가 들기름보다 곰팡이 발생을 억제하기 위한 마감제로 더 적합하며, 야외 환경에서의 곰팡이 성장 억제를 저해 할 수 있는 최적의 처리량 및 처리 방법에 대한 추가 연구를 통하여 명유의 적용 가능성을 높힐 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

비축대칭 Glass Array Lens의 설계 및 개발 (Design and Development of Asymmetry Glass Array Lens)

  • Asymmetric glass lens core for portable projection optic system was designed and simulated. And it was machined by newly developed non-rotational ultra precision grinding method. With the designed lens data which optimized for multi-collimation, we generated the we core surface data. Mold pressing conditions analyzed by FEM. In the machining process, ground profile errors were compensated based on measured data, minimized feed rate and depth of cut. The deviations of machined core profile were acceptable level for glass mold press. Mold pressed glass array lens was coated with $SiO_2\;and\;Ta_2O_5$ for anti-reflection.

양극산화공정을 이용한 반사방지 성형용 나노 마스터 개발 (Fabrication of Nano Master with Anti-reflective Surface Using Aluminum Anodizing Process)

  • A simple method for the fabrication of porous nano-master for the anti-reflection effect on the transparent substrates is presented. In the conventional fabrication methods for antireflective surface, coating method using materials with low refractive index has usually been used. However, it is required to have a high cost and long processing time for mass production. In this paper, we developed a porous nano-master with anti-reflective surface for the molding stamper of the injection mold, hot embossing and UV imprinting by using the aluminum anodizing process. Through two-step anodizing and etching processes, a porous nano-master with anti-reflective surface was fabricated at the large area. Pattern size Pore diameter and inter-pore distance are about 130nm and 200nm, respectively. In order to replicate anti-reflective structure, hot embossing process was performed by varying the processing parameters such as temperature, pressure and embossing time etc. Finally, antireflective surface can be successfully obtained after etching process to remove selectively silicon layer of AAO master.

한국산 무 추출물의 곰팡이 병균에 대한 항진균성 (Antifungal Activity of Korean Radish (Raphanus sativaus L) Extracts Against Pathogenic Plant)

  • 국내산 무의 추출물을 여러가지 Column과 HPLC를 이용하여 잿빛곰팡이 병원균에 대한 항 진균성 물질을 분리하였다. 투석튜브를 이용한 분리에서 이물질이 3.5kDa 이하의 저분자물질이며 또한 내열성 물질임을 확인하였다. 이물질들은 최소한 5종의 물질로 구성되어 있으며 이중 가장 항진균성이 강한 물질을 HPLC를 이용하여 순수 분리하였으며 잿빛곰팡이병에 감염된 식물에 적용한 결과 농약과 비슷한 효과를 나타내어 환경 친화적인 항진균 물질로서 사용가능성을 확인하였다.

  • The existing compressor steel seal used in automotive air-conditioner has the problem of oil leakage and the deterioration in shielding performance, due to the abrasion and the corrosion of the material. A new type of polymer resin seal is studied in the research. The polymer resin seal has the characteristics of high anti-abrasiveness and anti-corrosiveness, which can overcome the deflects of the steel seal. In addition, the seal needs lower manufacturing cost and is appropriate to mass production, because it is made by the injection molding method requiring no mechanical processing. The profile generation program for seal mold has been developed using the gradient method, and the molding characteristics of the seal have analyzed through the flow analysis and the warpage analysis. The program has been verified by comparing the analysis results with the measured data of the test product. The research might be said to provide the basic method to produce the polymer resin seals with various types and dimensions.

  • This paper describes the manufacture of spherical and aspherical surface on glass, superalloy and ceramic components. The rotationally symmetricallenses, and the ceramic or superalloy molds with spherical shapes are mainly generated by cutting processes on CNC lathe machine or 4,5 axis CNC machining centers. Recently, spherical shape parts require more precise and efficent machining technologies for wide material range such as optical lens of the lithography device in semiconductor manufacturing processes or the high precision mold machining of anti-chemical, anti-wear materials. In this paper, we introduce a newly developed infeed grinding machine with metal with metal bonded cup type wheel and its effects on spherical surface grinding.

항진균성 펩티드에 의한 표고버섯 푸른곰팡이병의 억제 (Suppression of green mold disease on oak mushroom cultivation by antifungal peptides)

  • 원목과 톱밥배지에서 푸른곰팡이의 오염과 성장은 표고버섯의 생장을 심하게 저해할 수 있다. 표고버섯 재배에서 푸른곰팡이병의 방제를 위하여 농약과 항생제와 같은 화학 약품의 사용은 일반적으로 허용되지 않는다. 본 연구에서는 푸른곰팡이병의 방제를 위하여 느타리버섯에서 갈반병을 일으키는 세균성 병원균을 분리하고 이들의 펩티드 독소를 분리하였다. Pseudomonas tolaasii 균주들은 항진균 활성을 갖는 톨라신 및 이와 구조적 유사체인 다양한 펩티드 독소를 분비한다. 이러한 펩티드들은 표고버섯의 생장에는 영향을 주지 않는다는 것이 알려져 있다. 펩티드 독소들을 Trichoderma harzianum H1 푸른곰팡이에 처리하였을 때, 푸른곰팡이의 성장을 저해하였다. 펩티드를 분비하는 20 종의 P. tolaasii 균주 중에서 강, 중, 약의 항진균 활성을 가진 균주의 수는 각각 8, 5, 7 종으로 나타났다. 표고버섯을 재배하는 동안에, 펩티드 독소를 함유한 세균 배양액에서 세균을 제거한 배양원액을 톱밥배지 표면에 자란 푸른곰팡이 균사에 분무하였다. 배양원액은 푸른곰팡이의 성장은 억제할 수 있는 반면, 표고버섯 생장과 생산에는 영향을 주지 않았다. 펩티드 독소를 함유하는 배양원액은 곰팡이의 흰색 균사체를 노란색의 마른 딱지로 변화시켰고, 이것은 펩티드 독소가 강력한 항진균 활성과 살균 활성을 갖고 있음을 보여준다.

Antifungal and Plant Growth Promotion Activities of Recombinant Defensin Proteins from the Seed of Korean Radish (Raphanus sativus L.)

  • In the present study, we analyzed the defensin protein deduced from Korean radish (Raphanus sativus L.) seeds.To express the genes in E. coli, we constructed a recombinant expression vector with a defensin gene, named rKRs-AFP gene isolated from Korean radish seeds. Over expressed rKRs-AFP proteins was separated by SDS-PAGE to determine the purity, and protein concentration was determined by the Bradford method. Antifungal activity was assessed by disk assay method against the tested fungi. As a result, when 500 mL of cell culture were disrupted by sonicator, 32.5 mg total proteins were obtained. The purified protein showed a single band on SDS-PAGE with estimated molecular weight about 6 KDa, consistent with the molecular mass calculated from the deduced amino acid sequence. The purified rKRs-AFP protein showed remarkable antifungal activities against several fungi including Aspergillus niger, Botrytis cinerea causing the gray mold disease, and Candida albicans. In field tests using the purified rKRs-AFP protein, the protein showed the reducing activity of disease spot and the mitigating effect of spreading of disease like agrichemicals. The immuno-assay of rKRs-AFP protein showed that the purified protein entirely accumulated at B. cinerea cytoplasm through the hyphal septa shown by fluorescence imaging. There was no fluorescence inside the cell, when the hypha was incubated without the protein. These all results indicate that the recombinant rKRs-AFP proteins can be utilized as a potential antifungal drug to control harmful plant fungal pathogens.

미역의 8가지 품질기준 설정을 위한 양식산 및 자연산 미역의 비교 (Comparison of Aquacultured and Wild Undaria pinnatifida Thalli for Evaluation of Eight Quality Standards)

  • Eight quality standards of the brown seaweed, Undaria pinnatifida were designed and evaluated with dry products collected from aquacultured and wild areas. Contents of n-3 fatty acids (stearidonic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid), anti-edema activity, and total carbohydrate were measured as functional criteria. Total bacteria and molds were counted for safety conditions. Amounts of a brown pigment fucoxanthin, debris, and moisture were measured to evaluate the visible status of the products. When the seaweeds were tested in 1 g dry weight basis, they showed n-3 fatty acids in the range of approximately 0.2-2.8 mg, total carbohydrate of 0.39-0.71 g, total bacteria of $10^{4-6}$ cells, mold of $10^2$ cells, fucoxanthin of 0.4-1.5 mg, and debris of 10-24 mg. Anti-edema activity was 0.03-0.47 AU at 40 mg/mL extract. Moisture content was 11.4-12.6%.
