열처리조건이 LaNiO3 졸-겔 박막의 배향성과 구조 및 저항성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Heat-treatment Conditions on Orientation, Structures and Resistances of LaNiO3 Thin Films by Sol-gel process)

  • LaNiO$_3$(LNO) thin films on (100) Si substrates are prepared by sol-gel method on heat treatment conditions, such as heat transfer direction, pyrolysis and annealing process, and annealing temperatures and times. The effect of heat treatment conditions on the (100) orientations, structures and resistances of the thin films are investigated by XRD, SEM(FESEM), and a lout probe method. Highly (100) orientation factor(0.97), a pseudocubic crystalline structure with a dense and uniform microstructure could be formed by the following conditions: 1) the heat transfer direction is from Si substrate to LNO, 2) the pyrolysis and annealing process are alternated, 3) the annealing temperature is $650^{\circ}C$ and 4) the annealing times is 3 minutes. The sheet resistance of thin films decreased with increasing of a annealing temperature and time, and a number of coating.

단조품의 등온 어닐링에 따른 미세조직 변화 (The Effect of Isothermal Annealing on Microstructure of Forged Parts)

  • The ring gears of automobile parts are manufactured generally process chart of which is as follows : forging ${\rightarrow}$ annealing or normalizing ${\rightarrow}$ rough machining ${\rightarrow}$ hardening(Quenching-Tempering or carburizing process) ${\rightarrow}$ finish machining. Isothermal annealing process after forging is most effective in the side of improvment of machinability. On this study we selected two kinds of steel;SCM415, SCM435 of most universal and investigated microstructures to find out most suitable condition of heat treatment in proportion continuous cooling and isothermal annealing. As the cooling rate is $5^{\circ}C$ per minute in continuous cooling process, martensite and bainite are coexisted with ferrite and pearlite in SCM435 steel. If the cooling rate is slower than $5^{\circ}C$ per minute, microstructure were only ferrite and pearlite but formation of band structure can't be avoid. On the other hand, microstructure is only ferrite and pearlite regardless of cooling rate because carbon content of SCM415 steel is low. Moreover formation of band structure isn't exposed by faster cooling rate. Most optimal temperature of the isothermal annealing is from $650^{\circ}C$ to $680^{\circ}C$ in SCM435 steel. When holding time is 60 minute with $650^{\circ}C$, the identical ferrite and pearlite microstructures can be obtained.

  • Copper has been used extensively as an electric wire or as a base material in various types of machineries owing to its good electrical and thermal conductivity and good fabricating property, as well as its good corrosion resistance compared to iron. Furthermore, the copper-nickel alloy has significant corrosion resistance in severely corrosive environments. Although, cupro-nickel alloy shows better corrosion resistance than the brass and bronze series, this alloy also corroded in severely corrosive environments, including aggressive chloride ions, dissolved oxygen, and condition of fast flowing seawater. In this study, and annealing treatment at various annealing temperatures was carried out on the cupro-nickel (Cu-10%Ni) alloy, and the effects of annealing were investigated using electrochemical methods, such as measuring the polarization and impedance behaviors under flowing seawater conditions. The corrosion resistance increased by annealing compared to non heat treatment in the absence of flowing seawater. In particular, the sample annealed at $200^{\circ}C$ exhibited the best corrosion resistance. The impedance in the presence of flowing seawater showed higher values than in the absence of flowing seawater. Furthermore, the highest impedances was observed in the sample annealed at $800^{\circ}C$, irrespective of the present of flowing seawater. Consequently, the corrosion resistance of cupro-nickel (Cu-10%Ni) alloy in a severely corrosive environment can be improved somewhat by annealing.

  • ZnO thin films on silicon substrates have been deposited by pulsed laser deposition technique(PLD). A Nd:YAG laser was used with the wavelength of 355 nm. In order to investigate the effect of oxygen post-annealing treatment on the property of ZnO thin films, deposited film has been annealed at the substrate temperature of $440^{\circ}C$. After post-annealing treatment in the oxygen ambient, the stoichiometry of ZnO film has been characterized be improved which results in higher UV emission intensity of photoluminescence.

  • ZnO thin films on (001) sapphire substrates have been deposited by pulsed laser deposition(PLD) technique at the oxygen pressure of 350 mTorr. In order to investigate the effect of post-annealing treatment with oxygenn pressure of 350 mTorr on the optical property of ZnO thin films, films have been annealed at various substrate temperatures after deposition. After post-annealing treatment in the oxygen ambient, the optical properties of the ZnO thin films were characterized by PL(Photoluminescence) and structural properties of the ZnO were characterized by XRD, and have investigated structural property and optical property for application of light emission device.

Effect of Annealing and Co contents on the Structural and Physical Properties in AlN Thin Films

  • Aluminum nitride (AlN) thin films containing various amounts of Co content have been deposited by using a two-facing targets type sputtering (TFTS) system. The deposited films were also annealed successively and isothermally at different temperatures. Annealing treatment can control the physical properties as well as the microstructure of AlN films with Co particles. High magnetization and high resistivity are obtainable in AlN films containing dispersed Co particles. The coercivity of the films does not depend on annealing time, but it increases with increasing annealing temperature due to the increase of the grain size. A high saturation magnetization of 46 kG and resistivity of 2200 ${\mu}{\Omega}$-cm was obtained for AlN films containing 25 at% Co.

  • In this study, effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and damping capacity of hot rolled magnesium alloys was investigated. The microstructure of hot rolled magnesium consisted of dendrite structure and $Mg_{17}Al_{12}$ compounds precipitated along the grain boundry. The dendrite structure was dissipated and $Mg_{17}Al_{12}$ compounds was decomposed by annealing treatment, and then they dissolved in ${\alpha}-Mg$. With an increasing the annealing temperature and time, damping capacity was slowly increased by the growth of grain size and decreasing of defects induced by hot rolling. Two kinds of magnesium alloys AZ 31 and AZ 61 after annealing showed no difference in damping capacity.

  • This study aimed to develop the heat treating equipment which could produce austenitic stainless steel welded pipes & tubes maintaining its peculiar brightness even after heat treatment. The results of this study are as follows:- Development of 8.5kHz, 150kw bright annealing system was achieved. - Bright annealing of austenitic stainless steel welded pipes & tubes was performed by the developed pilot-system through this study and heat-treatment effects were quite successful in viewpoint of surface brightness, hardness distribution, microstructure, removal of residual stress, strength and corrosion resistance.

420J2마르텐사이트 스테인레스강의 최종경도에 미치는 열처리조건의 영향 (Effect of Heat Treatments on the Final Hardness of STS 420J2 Martensitic Stainless Steel)

  • The effect of batch annealing conditions and austenitizing temperatures on the hardness and microstructural factors were examined by using 420J2 martensitic stainless steel. In spite of the similler hardness after batch annealing, the difference in hardness at the same austenitizing temperature was caused by changes in dissolved carbon during batch annealing. The highest hardness of the specimen was obtained at the batch annealing temperature of $820^{\circ}C$ and austenitizing temperature of $1050^{\circ}C$. The main factor affecting the final hardness of the cold annealed 420J2 specimen was proved to the austenitizing temperature rather than batch annealing temperature.

Post Deposition Annealing Effect on the Structural, Electrical and Optical Properties of ZnO/Ag/ZnO Thin Films

  • Transparent conductive ZnO/Ag/ZnO (ZAZ) multilayer films were deposited by Radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering and direct current (DC) magnetron sputtering. The effects of post deposition vacuum annealing temperature on the structural, electrical and optical properties of the ZAZ multilayer films were investigated. The thickness of ZAZ films is kept constant at ZnO 50 nm/Ag 5nm/ZnO 45 nm, while the vacuum annealing temperatures were varied from 200 and $400^{\circ}C$, respectively. As-deposited ZAZ films exhibit a sheet resistance of $6.1{\Omega}/{\Box}$ and optical transmittance of 72.7%. By increasing annealing temperature to $200^{\circ}C$, the resistivity decreased to as low as $5.3{\Omega}/{\Box}$ and optical transmittance also increased to as high as 82.1%. Post-deposition annealing of ZAZ multilayer films lead to considerably lower electrical resistivity and higher optical transparency, simultaneously by increased crystallization of the films.
