This study attempted to publicize the excellence of art of seal engraving in the Joseon Dynasty by analyzing the fusion factors of seal 'Wandangyego' which Oh Gyuil engraved. The appearance of Wandangyego was compared with other seals. The calligraphy philosophy in Wandangyego, the composition of inmun Wan-Dang-Ye-Go, and Oh Gyuil's method of holding graver were analyzed. As a result, Wandangyego was the world's largest rectangular seal and contained the writing philosophy of his teacher Kim Junghee. Oh Gyuil was a seal engraving artist and expert in the manufacture of seal handles. He used 'chungdo' and 'jeoldo' appropriately, and stimulated the deliberate emotion of oriental art with layout applied with exquisite oriental golden ratio. The importance of the real seal was suggested, and it was proved that the seal Wandangyego was a prominent work worldwide. The results of this study are expected to be a new research methodology for analyzing the fusion factors in painting, sculpture and design.
The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of Stroke Impact Scale 3.0 (SIS 3.0). Here, the SIS 3.0 was completed by 154 stroke patients (mean = 62.7; standard deviation [SD] = 9.43). Construct validity was verified by analyzing the correlation between SIS 3.0 sub-domains, and convergent validity was investigated by analyzing the correlation between the Modified Barthel Index (MBI) and the Mini-Mental State Examination-Korean (K-MMSE) version. The characteristics of each item were analyzed by internal consistency and item discrimination based on the classical item theory. Construct and convergent validity were verified through this study. Although the item i included in the emotion domain showed low item discrimination, all but this item showed high discrimination. Internal consistency was also high in all sub-domains.
This study sought to investigate the effect of academic satisfaction on the dropout intention of cosmetology undergraduates. Analyzing the effect of academic satisfaction on career dropouts showed that the sub-factors of academic satisfaction-evaluation satisfaction, class satisfaction had a statistically significant part effect. Analyzing the effect of academic satisfaction on psychological factors for dropping out showed that the sub-factors of academic satisfaction have a statistically significant effect. Furthermore, regarding the effect of academic satisfaction on environmental factors, the sub-factors of academic satisfaction have a statistically significant effect on wealth. High satisfaction was shown to have no statistically significant effect on dropout intention. The results of the study showed that the higher the degree of satisfaction with the evaluation and the degree of satisfaction with the course of beauty majors, the more negative (-) the impact on dropout. For cosmetology majors, academic satisfaction is a subjective emotion felt through study at university and major. Students with high academic satisfaction are more likely to love their school and their work, and positively influence their intention to stay in school and reduce student dropout rates. Intention to drop out indicates the intention to lose interest and purpose in cosmetology college students. This is directly linked to the dropout rate of school students and requires steady research. Through this research, we hope that active discussions will be held on academic satisfaction and intention to drop out of university students specializing in cosmetology.
As users environments change, users primary needs for homepages also change more complicatedly. Today, users do not only want usability for homepages, but also to feel appropriate emotional experiences. Despite users needs, users do not always experience appropriate emotions that are conveyed by designers through homepage. I In this research paper, we analyzed the related factors with the emotional quality, which means the degree that users feel target emotions intended by designers. For analyzing factors related with the emotional quality, three hypotheses were verified; the factor of an emotion, the factor of users and the factor of designers. As the factor of emotions, the first hypothesis is that unclear emotional dimensions in users minds are related with the emotional quality. The second hypothesis, as the factor of users, is that the diversity of users experiences by same homepage is related with the emotional quality. The third hypothesis, as the factor of designers, is that the appropriate selection of design elements is related with the emotional quality. In the previous research, we selected the basic 13 emotional dimensions and 30 representative emotional words based on the statistical results and evaluations by professional designers. For this research, we conducted an experiment and user survey. In the experiment, we asked 30 designers to design homepages focusing on the typical emotion that was presented by a researcher. Based on the designing process and user evaluation, we performed statistical analyses: ANOVA with Tukey post hoc method and Factor Analysis. We found the discrepancy between the emotions that designers intend and the actual emotions that users experienced from homepages. From the result of analysis, we know that the factor of users and the factor of designers related with the emotional qualities, but the factor of emotions did not. The definiteness of emotions did not relate with the emotional quality. However, the diversity of emotions that users feel seeing the same homepages and design elements that designers chose for conveying target emotion related with the emotional quality.
Differentiated positioning becomes increasingly difficult when brand salience weakens. Also, the daily increase in new media use and information load has led to a social climate that regards advertising stimuli as spamming. For these reasons, the focus of advertisement-related communication is shifting from persuading consumers through the direct delivery of information to an emphasis on appealing to their emotions using matching stimuli to enhance persuasion effects. Recently, both academia and industry have increasingly shown an interest in storytelling methods that can generate positive emotional responses and attitude changes by arousing consumers' narrative processing. The purpose of storytelling is to elicit consumers' emotional experience to meet the objectives of advertisement producers. Therefore, the most important requirement for storytelling in advertising is that it evokes consumers' sympathy for the main character in the advertisement. This does not involve advertisements directly persuading consumers, but rather, consumers themselves finding an answer through the advertisement's story. Thus, consumers have an indirect experience regarding the product features and usage through empathy with the advertisement's main character. In this study, we took the results of a precedent study as the starting point, according to which consumers' emotional response can be altered depending on the storytelling methods adopted for storytelling ads. Previous studies have reported that drama-type and vignette-type storytelling methods have a considerably different impact on the emotional responses of advertising audiences, due to their different structural characteristics. Thus, this study aims to verify that emotional response aroused by different types of advertisement storytelling (drama ads vs. vignette ads) can be controlled by the socio-psychological gender difference of advertising audiences and that the interaction effects between the socio-psychological gender differences of the audience and the gender stereotype of emotions to which advertisements appeal can exert an influence on emotional responses to types of storytelling in advertising. To achieve this, an experiment was conducted employing a between-group design consisting of 2 (storytelling type: drama ads vs. vignette ads) × 2 (socio-psychological gender of the audience: masculinity vs. femininity) × 2 (advertising appeal emotion type: male stereotype emotion vs. female stereotype emotion). The experiment revealed that the femininity group displayed a strong and consistent empathy for drama ads regardless of whether the ads appealed to masculine or feminine emotions, whereas the masculinity group displayed a stronger empathy for drama ads appealing to the emotional types matching its own gender as well as for vignette ads. The theoretical contribution of this study is significant in that it sheds light on the controllability of the audiences' emotional responses to advertisement storytelling depending on their socio-psychological gender and gender stereotype of emotions appealed to through advertising. Specifically, its considerable practical contribution consists in easing unnecessary creative constraints by comprehensively analyzing essential advertising strategic factors such as the target consumers' gender and the objective of the advertisement, in contrast to the oversimplified view of previous studies that considered emotional responses to storytelling ads were determined by the different types of production techniques used. This study revealed that emotional response to advertisement storytelling varies depending on the target gender of and emotion type appealed to by the advertisement. This suggests that an understanding of the targeted gender is necessary prior to producing an advertisement and that in deciding on an advertisement storytelling type, strategic attention should be directed to the advertisement's appeal concept or emotion type. Thus, it is safe to use drama-type storytelling that expresses masculine emotions (ex. fun, happy, encouraged) when the advertisement target, like Bacchus, includes both men and women. For brands and advertisements targeting only women (ex. female clothes), it is more effective to use a drama-type storytelling method that expresses feminine emotions (lovely, romantic, sad). The drama method can be still more effective than the vignette when women are the main target and a masculine concept-based creative is to be produced. However, when male consumers are targeted and the brand concept or advertisement concept is focused on feminine emotions (ex. romantic), vignette ads can more effectively induce empathy than drama ads.
Space dominates all the art activities human do and plays a role of providing aesthetic emotion. Architecture, sculpture, painting, and furniture, etc. these two and three dimensional works are represented in space and interpreted the role of its form, structure and function. Each area is different, but space has been studied in philosophy, physics, geometry, and mathematical studies, etc. and has been consistently interpreted and represented relating to a variety of human creative activity. Furniture is also three dimensional art being dependent on space. In the United States in 2004, I made the living room bench by applying the spatial concept at Rochester Institute of Technology. Two years later, this design was adopted by wendell Castle Collection, an American furniture company, then prototype were made and tested three times during a year, and then since 2007 as indoor benches it has been manufactured in the United States. The study's purpose is to order the process of its development based on the experience of bench production applied the spatial concept, and by analyzing the properties of spatial concept, I am planning to propose a new concept on interaction with the space and furniture for next.
This study examines married couples' forgiveness and forgiveness process in order to provide basic information related to married couples' forgiveness and to identify significant variables through analyzing socio-demographic characteristics affecting forgiveness and what influences the forgiveness process variables. Based on the study, the conclusions are as follows: First, men are affected by personal and intrinsic factors and women are affected by the other person's factor in the forgiveness. Married couples all expect that self-growth and the recovery of negative emotion occur through forgiveness. It indicates that the forgiveness contains a strong selfish character and not an altruistic character for others. Second, married couples experience hurt in the martial relationship due to problems caused by relationships with the husband's family, wife's family, and relatives. There is a significant difference between men and women in the period of problem occurrence, period of worry, seriousness degree of the problem, intention status of the problem, hurt degree, unfairness status of hurt, unfairness degree of hurt, and locus of control. Third, men's forgiveness level is higher in emotional forgiveness, cognitive forgiveness, and behavioral forgiveness. Among them, there is the biggest difference of cognitive forgiveness between men and women. Also, the variable affecting forgiveness is different between men and women.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between mothers' parental intelligence and children's abilities of self-control and empathy. 180 children aged 5 were selected from 4 kindergartens in G city. The gender breakdown for the sample group was as follows : boys comprised 60.0% (108) and girls comprised 40.0% (72) of the total sample. The Parental Intelligence Scales (PIS) was used to rate mothers' parental intelligence. Children's self-control and empathy were also measured. The SPSS 12.0 program was used for the purposes of analyzing the data. The results of the study were as follows. Firstly, mothers' parental intelligence was related in a general sense with children's self-control. However, such a relationship did not appear between rejection in the area of parental intelligence and self appraisal in self-control, nor did it appear between acceptance in intelligence and emotion in self-control. Secondly, the variable of encouragement was the only one in evidence in terms of mothers' parental intelligence and how it was related with children's empathy.

Thus. our final goal of this research is to implement an emotional recognition system based on pitch, formant, speech speed, etc. from speech signal.
