  • The purpose of this study is to investigate and analysis importance for evaluation indicators in youth centers. The sample of it is 138 youth centers. Method of this analysis of importance for its indicators is AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). Evaluation domains in youth center are process evaluation, product evaluation, input evaluation and specialized program in order of importance. Also, it is important to evaluate in needs assessment, recruitment of youth instructor, participation of youth in decision making, connective project with schools, sanitation level of youth center, satisfaction research, efforts of improvement of youth center staff in evaluation indicators. The result of this study is that importance for evaluation indicators suggests developmental directivity in youth center management.

  • As the ground subsidence occurred at the center of Seoul area in 2014, the ground subsidence phenomenon was emerged as a social issue in Korea. Even so far, national and local governments and related experts have been making a lot of efforts to prevent ground subsidence phenomenon, but it is still happening all over the country. In this study, we chose 9 influence factors on which ground subsidence and derived weights using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method for ground subsidence risk analysis. And we analyze the risk of subsidence in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$city using GIS(Geographic Information System) analysis method and evaluate the potential risk.

  • As a strategy for strengthening local competitiveness, efficient use of regional assets is becoming more and more important. The key to regional identity and competitiveness is local assets. The purpose of this study is to derive the priority region for development by evaluating local assets. The analysis methods used in this study are Geographic Information System analysis, Big Data Trend analysis, and Analytic Hierarchy Process analysis. To assess the potential of local assets, the preference of assets, historical value, cluster of resources, wide-area transport accessibility, and population density were set as analysis indicators and itemized weights were applied using AHP to reflect the importance of each item. As a result of analyzing Yeongju city in Gyeongsangbuk-do, eight major points such as Buseoksa Temple, Sosu Seowon, Huibangsa Temple, Punggi Hot Spring Resort, Punggi Station, National Center for Forest Therapy, Yeongju east region and Museom Village were derived.

  • While ubiquitous healthcare (u-health) services were expected to propagate along with conventional healthcare services, recent progress indicated rather limited market acceptance. In this paper, we investigated the fundamental causes of why the consumer acceptance level of u-health services has been low. We draw upon innovation adoption theories to analyze the consumer readiness of the typical u-health services. The comparative analysis between innovative u-health services and conventional services was performed using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Subsequently, policy and business implications including technological breakthrough insights were discussed based on the customer perspective comparative adoption analysis. The propositions captured through this study provide useful insight to further studies on u-health services.

  • IMO has enacted a convention that air pollution due to emissions of ships and sulfur oxides emissions should be significantly reduced by 2020. Based on the current support policies, this work intended to draw up the government support plans required by the shipping companies. Analytic Hierarchy Process analysis was done with factors derived from brainstorming and literature studies. The analysis results showed that the cost factor was generally the most important criterion and the Financial Aid was relatively more important within this cost factor. The policy implications for the regulation of sulfur oxides emissions was provided.

  • The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) converts people's judgment criteria into objective numerical values using pairwise comparisons. However, the need for an excessive number of pairwise comparisons poses a problem. To mitigate this issue, most existing studies have utilized the process separation approach. The method of process separation devised in this study is a "separation and integration approach," where 1) the standard AHP process is used for evaluating judgment criteria, and 2) the Multi-Attributive Utility Technique (MAUT) is applied for comparing alternatives. This AHP-MAUT Hybrid model was applied to a real analysis case, specifically analyzing the transportation choices of commuters between Bundang and Gangnam Station in Gyeonggi Province. The results showed that the computational process was reduced by 42.03% when applying the Hybrid model compared to using the AHP model alone. Furthermore, the choice results of residents using the Hybrid model were compared with those using the standard AHP. The consistency between the two models' choices was 82.1%, indicating a significant level of consistency. In conclusion, this study contributes by presenting a simpler, more convenient, yet equally effective Hybrid model as a new decision-support system alternative to AHP.

  • As customer relationship management (CRM) has been increasingly adopted by corporations as a core business strategy, measuring performance of CRM is becoming an important managerial issue recently. In this study, we present a conceptual framework formeasuring CRM performance, and provide strategic priorities among the diagnostic perspectives and factors involved in the framework by analyzing their comparative weights. We first derived critical success factors of CRM from an extensive literature review and in-depth interviews with industrial and academic CRM experts, and categorized them into one of four different diagnostic perspectives. Then, we asked a group of CRM experts to evaluate each set of diagnostic factors in a pairwise fashion with respect to each perspective, computing their comparative weights by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique. In terms of diagnostic perspectives, this study shows that customer perspective was the most critical perspective, whereas infrastructure was the least weighted perspective. The result also discloses that explicit goal and top management's attitude, expanding customer relationship, strengthening customer loyalty, and enhancing customer equity are the most important factors in infrastructure, CRM process, customer, and organizational performance perspective, respectively.

  • The explosive increase in demand for drones poses a major threat to the safety of existing aircraft operations and important national facilities operating in low-altitude airspace. In order to determine the type and degree of safety threats for low-altitude airspace drones, the types and types of threats from drones are evaluated through analysis of AHP(analysis hierarchy process) for aviation workers in each field. The composition of the threat factor hierarchy from drones was designed using a specific operation risk assessment (SORA) technique previously studied by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), an advanced aviation country. Based on this, it will be possible to secure the low-altitude safety operation of existing aircraft by identifying and removing prior hazards between each aircraft operation and mission performance.

  • The lack of water resources is becoming a serious issue throughout the world. The water shortage in Korea is expected to increase dramatically through 2020. The amount of water shortage could amount to 1.8 and 2.6 billion cubic meters in 2011 and 2020, respectively. Groundwater can be a solution to this matter in some places. Especially, underground dams are known to be advantageous over conventional dams, evert if they have some drawbacks such as their limited location for development and small sizes. The analytic hierarchy process(AHP) is an analytical tool, supported by simple mathematics, which enables one to explicitly rank tangible and intangible factors against each other for the purpose of resolving conflicts or setting priorities. In order to check the applicability of AHP to the evaluation of underground dam sites, lour candidate locations were chosen. They have suffered from problems like water-supply shortage and delayed dam construction. The analysis results are compared with those of the previous study using a conventional method. It is believed that the developed method can provide central or local government with a basis for reasonable decision-making regarding underground dam development.

  • The importance of logistics of warehouse stores has increased as their prices are cheaper and more convenient than those of large supermarkets. However, few studies on integrated depot location selection of warehouse stores have been conducted. In this regard, this study aims to derive factors for integrated depot location selection and calculate weights and select the location priority of target candidates by introducing an analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The analysis results exhibited that the most important selection factor was the cost reduction in transportation and delivery (0.198) followed by distance reduction in transportation and delivery (0.168), and time reduction in transportation. This study quantified the reduction in cost and increase in efficiency if depots were integrated and operated thereby presenting more realistic foundational data to hands-on workers. For the future study, the analysis model will be needed to be advanced through additional investigation on the factors in the analysis.
