A Study on Usability Evaluation of AR-based Online Archives Exhibition Platform: Focusing on June Democratic Struggle History Exhibition Case (AR기반 온라인 기록전시 플랫폼의 사용성 평가에 관한 연구 - 6월 민주 항쟁 역사 기획전 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • This study shows the process of designing and directly developing an online archives exhibition platform using AR (AR online archives exhibition platform) as a method for effectively providing online archives exhibition. Furthermore, the usability of the platform developed for actual users was evaluated. Related literature analysis was conducted to derive the functional requirements of the online archives exhibition platform to be guaranteed by the archives exhibition platform. Based on the derived functional requirements, six development strategies were established for the development of an AR online archives exhibition platform. The specific development of the platform was carried out using the Unity Engine and was based on the development strategy. After that, using the developed platform, 'June Democratic Struggle History Exhibition' was planned based on the collection of the Busan Democratic Park. Based on this, this study attempted to specifically evaluate the possibility of applying the actual exhibition service of the platform. Based on this, this study specifically evaluated the possibility of applying the actual exhibition service of the platform, and the usability of the AR online archives exhibition platform based on user experience (UX) was evaluated through platform demonstration for 35 actual users. According to the evaluation results, there were requirements for supplementation due to the use of advanced technology, but the main opinion was that it will be very positive at this time when untact services are being activated due to the Corona Pandemic.

Behavior and perception characteristics on the isolated students and the bystanders in physical education (체육수업 참여 학생들의 교우관계 소외자와 방관자 행동 특성 및 인식 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the nature and recognition of the isolated students and bystanders in respect of friendship in Middle School Physical Education. To achieve these objectives, we analyzed statistical material through PQR and inductive category by completing open questionnaires for 360 students bullied in public middle school in a large city. According the results, first, damages defender of participants showed the highest percentage, 70.2%. There were bystanders(12.3), the alienated(7.4) inflictor(5.5), contributor(4.6) in descending order. Second, according to the results of inductive analysis regarding the nature and recognition of bystanders in physical education, the biggest reason for not helping their colleagues in need is as following: ① improper friendship(32.8), ② lack of moral and emotional empathy(28.1), ③ lack of exercise ability(15.6), ④ psychological burden(12.5), ⑤ improper class attitude(10.9).   • The purpose of this study is to explore the process of multicultural perception change of university students who have participated in multicultural mentoring. From May to December of the year 2015, the researcher conducted continuous e-mail interviews as well as in-depth interviews with mentors who participated in multicultural mentoring at I university. The interview contents were transcribed and comparative analysis was done. The result of the study is as follows. The process of multicultural perception change of mentors were discovered to be change in stereotypes, prejudice and ideas on multiculture, difference detection and social desire. They realized that stereotypes and prejudice were the errors of generalization due to their ideas on multiculture which were developed through media. Through mentoring activities the mentors reflected on the inherent negative ideas on multiculture, thus changing their ideas and thoughts. Also, the difference detection acknowledged cultural diversity along with the understanding of the cultural environment of mentees. Social desire expressed their wish for the change of perception in the cultures of others along with the positive change of multicultural perception through mentees. Thus, it was discovered that multicultural mentoring activities are sufficient prerequisites to change the social perception of multiculture from personal interest.

Indonesian Halal Food Consumers' Perception, Attitude and Use of Ginseng and Red Ginseng Products (인도네시아 할랄식품 소비자의 인삼·홍삼제품에 대한 인식과 태도 및 이용 실태)

  • Understanding muslim consumers' needs and behaviour is an essential process for strategic product development in the Halal food market. For our study on Indonesian consumers of Halal food, we conduct a survey of 200 Muslims residing in Indonesia on awareness of ginseng (G) and red ginseng (RG) products, eating experience, like or dislike reasons, cognitive level on the efficacy of G and RG products, purchase behaviors, satisfaction and repurchase intention through a web-based questionnaire methodology. This study reveals that 58 % and 51% of the participants indicate an awareness of G and RG products. In particular, awareness amongst medium- and high-income male consumers in their 20s and 30s is relatively high. This group of participants is also more likely to consume eat G and RG products for health promotion, refreshment, and disease prevention, and positively evaluated product efficacy. They are also aware of the efficacy claims of these products with regard to enhancement of immunity, fatigue, and stamina. While Indonesian Muslim consumers express satisfaction with the health claims, packaging specifications, and design of the products, they are dissatisfied with product types, price, taste, and aroma. The results also found that participants would recommend G and RG products to acquaintances, and are willing to purchase them in the future. Therefore, the segmentation of Halal-certified G and RG products for Muslim consumers and analysis on their product needs could be advantageous for strategic product development.

An Investigation of Psychometric Adequacy of Korean Self-Evaluated Writing Scale for Students with Disabilities having Writing Difficulties (글씨쓰기에 어려움이 있는 장애학생을 위한 한국형 쓰기자기평가검사의 측정학적 적합성 검증)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the construct validity of self-evaluated writing scale for students with disabilities who had difficulties in writing. After interpreting the Here's How I Write scale developed by Goldstand et al. (2013), we administered Delphi survey to 40 special education professionals, calculated the content validity ratio and decided the final scale of 21 questions applicable to Korea. Additionally, we carried out the scale to 350 disabled and normal students for testing construct validity. The main results are as follows: For both students with disabilities and without disabilities, the overall internal consistency of scale are higher than .89 and the internal consistency of factors of scale are higher than .66. The confirmative factor analysis using AMOS 21.0 and SPSS 21.0 to verify construct validity showed fit index at relatively satisfactory level for students with disabilities and without disabilities. Furthermore, while there were relatively strong convergent validity and discriminant validity in the sub-factors of scale for students without disabilities, the level of convergent validity and discriminant validity were relatively lower for students with disabilities.

  • Current military command information system uses electronic equipment a lot on which semiconductor chip is attached. It seems its' importance will increase more with latest information communication technology developing. Electronic equipment which uses electricity contains regular tolerance to high output electric signal. And EMC specification is the standardized of this electronic equipment's tolerance. On the other hand, the Institute of Atomic Energy Research has ever declared that high output electromagnetic pulse(EMP) will be broken out within the radius of 170Km when 10kt nuclear explosion occurs at an altitude of 40Km above Seoul. Then, the region suffer from the damage of most electronic equipments. Therefore, the norm to protect the influences in that case is defined by EMP protection specification. Most common electronic equipments meet the EMC norm, but there is no way to check whether they meet the EMP norm or not. That is because it is difficult to check whether they meet EMP protection norm and is on the matter of cost. Except inevitable cases, there is no review of checking whether they meet the norm or not. Considering the above, in this research, we speculate about the measures to improve military EMP protection ability by analyzing the EMC-EMP correlation and checking the EMP protection ability of general electronic equipment through the analysis.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an scientific inquiry learning module by applying ESD and to verify its effect so that students could understand sustainable development and geology concepts by reconstructing the contents of the geology related unit. For this purpose, the "Volcanoes and Earthquakes" unit in the 3-4 grade group of the Korea national curriculum was selected and the scientific inquiry learning module was developed. The developed inquiry learning module consisted of one textbook and one teacher 's guidebook, and it was put into one class of elementary school to verify the effect. As a result, the teacher said that it was good to be taught contents of ESD and it was useful because of the concreteness of inquiry activities. The students responded that they were interesting because developed textbook is more often the interesting picture and activity than traditional textbook. And the students responded that 'ESD' has been an opportunity to be interested in science.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the experience of recognition struggle, which is a positive interaction with Korean society, through the life history research of the researcher ' The study was conducted as a narrative - life history analysis method. Life history data were collected through in-depth interviews. As a result of the study, the lifetime of the life history research subject, as a result of the constant challenge, considered Korea as the opportunity land and voluntarily migrated to Korea. He can analyze Korea as a fierce life to gain recognition by utilizing positive adaptation strategies. In other words, through the positive interaction of recognition struggle, he negotiated with the mainstream society and established his identity through positive experiences. In addition, through group activities, we have endeavored to protect the rights of the individual as well as the whole society and to improve the image and to integrate with the mainstream society. Through this reconstruction of life history, we can understand the life situation of Chinese leaders and know about the qualities they want to receive in Korean society. Therefore, it is suggested that this reconstruction of life history implies social welfare practice.

An Analysis on Reading and Writing Teaching Practices and Needs of Elementary Special Education Teachers (초등특수교사의 읽기·쓰기 지도실태 및 요구도 분석)

  • This study was to investigate special education teachers' teaching in reading and writing to university students with intellectual disabilities. For this study, we surveyed 71special education teachers who work in Gwangju, Daegu and Busan. As a result, in order to identify students' reading and writing abilities, they were more likely to use their own tests which they made for themselves than standardized tests. When teaching students, they used their own teaching experiences and advices from colleagues and senior teachers regarding problem-solving methods and reliable information while the knowledge they learned at school showed low frequency in use. Despite using mainly whole-word approach when instructing reading and writing, it appeared that teachers' teaching experiences and diversity of textbooks also have an influence. Regarding needs of education participation for teaching students, there were high needs and interests in teaching methods of writing, textbooks and teaching materials by the characteristics of disability, reading and writing development, reading and writing disabilities. In case of difficulties and needs in teaching students, there was a high demand of development of a wide variety of teaching materials and tools and, preparation for sufficient textbooks and test tools, while difficulties in teaching appeared in lack of knowledge about reading and writing, lack of screening/evaluating tools, and evaluating and teaching oriented to each disability characteristic.

Analysis of Drought Damage around Tonlé Sap which is Largest Lake in Southeast Asia (동남아시아 최대 호수인 톤레사프호 주변 가뭄피해 분석)

  • Today, the world is experiencing a variety of natural disasters due to the extreme weather. Drought that occurred throughout Southeast Asia from February to May 2016 is also a form of abnormal climate. As a result of this drought, five countries, including Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar, faced food shortages, food shortages, as well as rice yields for export. In this study, remote sensing technique was applied to the vicinity of Tonlé Sap, the largest lake in Southeast Asia, to quantitatively analyze the damage caused by drought. As a result, the change of land cover caused a drastic decrease in the water system (132.582㎢) and greenery (706.937㎢) in February 2016, and the reduced water system and greenery changed to dry land and paddy field. It was also found that the temperature rise of 6℃ ~ 8 ℃ compared to the previous year due to the drought from February to April 2016 due to the change of the surface temperature. And it was found that the function of the lake was deteriorated in April due to continuous drought.
