객체지향 데이터베이스를 이용한 전력계통 해석 (Power System Analysis using OODB)

  • The complex documentation involved in power system analysis software require a well-defined and friendly database system. We have developed an object-oriented database management system for power system analysis, and have described load flow analysis and transient stability analysis using object-oriented database(OODB). Database management systems are widely used and achieve high reliability of data management in the engineering fields. However relational database system have shortcomings in application to power system analysis. ill relational database, the data model is too simple for modeling complex data and database languages are very different from programming languages. Object-oriented techniques are sufficiently powerful to support data-modeling requirements of GUI applications. The GUI is implemented using C++ on a MS windows platform. The OODB supports data modeling requirements of GUI applications and the performance is well acceptable for Gill applications.

  • In this study, system analysis for a train vehicle with an articulated bogie frame adopted in TGV and TGV-K system is performed. System analysis is carried out as follows. First, modal analysis of each subsystem is performed to obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes. Then modal analysis, of a whole vehicle is performed to obtain the potential interaction between the subsystems. Finallyforced response analysis, such as driving point mobility, is performed to obtain the dynamic response of specific points.

  • In recent years, the development and the embodiment of information analysis system has been sprightly carried out in several fields of study. In this study, as and extension of these studies, we develop a system for multivariate analysis which might be widely used in social and natural sciences. This multivariate analysis system is developed by using multivariate analysis procedures in SAS/STAT software. Also, the system supply users with he environment of GUI(Graphical User Interface), which is constructed with AF(application frame) and SCL(screen control language) of SAS software, in order to help users to use the system with easy.

The Building Strategies of Natural Park Integration Monitoring System Based on Geographic Information Analysis System

  • The goal of this study was to propose building strategies of web-based national park monitoring system (WNPMS) using geographic information analysis system. To accomplish this study, at first, this study selected and made integrated management indicators considering physical, ecological, and socio-psychological carrying capacity in national park. Secondly, this study built up an integrated management this system with statistical analysis program for execution of various multivariate analysis and spatial analysis. Finally, WNPMS could identify the relationship among visitors, natural resources, and recreation facilities in national park, and forecast the future management status of each national park in Korea. There results of this study will contribute to prevent the damage of natural resources and facilities, improve visitor's satisfaction, prevent an excess of carrying capacity at national park, and established tailored management strategies of each national park.

커플시스템의 모우드 분석 연구 (Mode Analysis of Coupled System)

  • The suggested coupled system was analyzed using FRF and mode analysis. The eigen-mode of FRF analysis is consistent with that of conventional FFT in spectrum. Also, three numerical responses of second order system, which are coupled, was obtained using the Runge-Kutta Gill method. The displacement, velocity and acceleration response were calculated for the numerical analysis of coupled system and the displacement response was used for the calculation of FRF of this system. Using the mixed response of 1st and 2nd mode in example, the FRF was analysed for the analysis of mixed mode coupled system. Also, its mode shape was acquired by solving the eigen problem of coupled system.

An Analysis on the State-Dependent Nature of DS/SSMA Unslotted ALOHA

  • In this paper, we present a novel approach to analyze the throughput of direct-sequence spread spectrum multiple access (DS/SSMA) unslotted ALOHA system. In the unslotted system, the departure rate of interfering transmissions is proportional to the number of current interferers that can be regarded as the system state. In order to model this state-dependency, we introduce a two-dimensional state transition model that describes the state transition of the system. This model provides a more rigorous analysis tool for the DS/SSMA unslotted ALOHA systems with both fixed and variable packet lengths. Numerical results reveal that this analysis yields an accurate system performance that coincides with the simulation results. Throughout the analysis we have discovered that the state-dependency of the departure rate causes interference averaging effect in the unslotted system and that this effect yields a higher throughput for the unslotted system than for the slotted system when supported by a strong channel coding.

데이터베이스를 활용한 공작기계의 구조해석 프로그램 개발 (Development of a S/W for a Structural Analysis of Machine tools utilizing database)

  • In this paper, a S/W system for a structural analysis of machine tools has been suggested. The system is so designed to reduce manual interfacing effort. An object-oriented language is used for making a graphic user interface. In this system parametric modelling technique is applied to construct a FE model without much user intervention. The FE model is automatically updated when the design parameters are changed by user. Not only single FE analysis but also a trade-off analysis for calculating the sensitivity information of design variables is possible using this system. All data generated by this system are saved in the database. So it possible to retrieve the result later without another analysis. It is found that the design time can be reduced and unnecessary operation avoided using this system.

정지궤도복합위성 추진계 배관망 구조해석 (Stress Analysis of the GEO-KOMPSAT-2 Tubing System)

  • 본 논문에서는 정지궤도복합위성 추진계 배관망의 독자적인 구조해석을 실시하였고, AIRBUS의 구조해석결과와 비교분석을 통해 추진계 배관망의 구조적 건전성 및 해석방법의 신뢰성을 평가하였다. 추진계 배관망의 구조적 신뢰성 확보는 정지궤도복합위성 추진계의 매우 중요한 핵심요소이다. 따라서 CAE 프로그램을 통해 직접 추진계 배관망 모델링을 수행하였고, 발사환경에서 구조해석을 실시하여 응력을 도출하였다. 내압응력해석, 조립정렬해석, 정현파진동해석, 랜덤진동해석의 하중조건에 따라 Hoop stress, Axial stress, Bending stress, Torsion stress를 구하였고, 이를 모두 고려한 von Mises 응력 계산 후 안전여유 결과 값을 도출함으로써 추진계 배관망의 구조적 건전성을 판단하였다.

Modeling of the State Transition Equations of Power Systems with Non-continuously Operating Elements by the RCF Method

  • In conventional small signal stability analysis, the system is assumed to be invariant and the state space equations are used to calculate the eigenvalues of the state matrix. However, when a system contains switching elements such as FACTS equipments, it becomes a non-continuous system. In this case, a mathematically rigorous approach to system small signal stability analysis is performed by means of eigenvalue analysis of the system's periodic transition matrix based on the discrete system analysis method. In this paper, the RCF (Resistive Companion Form) method is used to analyze the small signal stability of a non-continuous system including switching elements. Applying the RCF method to the differential and integral equations of the power system, generator, controllers and FACTS equipments including switching devices should be modeled in the form of state transition equations. From this state transition matrix, eigenvalues that are mapped into unit circles can be computed precisely.

  • In this paper, we have performed a safety analysis on an automotive evaporator inspection system. We performed the bi-directional analysis on the manufacturing line. Software Fault Tree Analysis (SFTA) as backward analysis and Software Failure Modes, Effects, & Criticality Analysis (SFMECA) as forward analysis are performed alternately to detect potential cause-to-effect relations. The analysis results indicate the possibility of searching and summarizing fault patterns for future reusability.
