  • In the Korean capital market, there are three credit rating agencies. Potential credit ratings based on credibility in the financial market are calculated independently for each rating agency. It often happens that despite the fact that the grades of the rating agencies are the same and have the same rating system, their actual ratings are different, even for the same firm. In such circumstances, investors may wonder why. In this study, we assume that the cause is the information environment in which the company operates. The credit ratings of rating agencies are mainly classified into bonds or commercial papers. The bonds are rated primarily for long-term of three years or more, and commercial papers specify ratings for less than one year. The information environment to be verified in this study was observed with a commercial paper. Under the assumption the larger the analyst following is, the more transparent is the information environment, we analyzed the influence of the number of analysts following on the degree to which ratings conflicted among credit rating agencies. The results of our analysis confirmed that opinion conflict among credit rating agencies is clearly reduced for companies with good information environments.

  • Purpose Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies are building virtual workplaces based on virtual reality technology. Through this study, we intend to identify the trend of convergence and convergence research between virtual reality technology and work space, and suggest future promising fields based on this. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose, 12,250 bibliographic data of research papers related to Virtual Reality (VR) and Workplace were collected from Scopus from 1982 to 2021. The bibliographic data of the collected papers were analyzed using Text Mining and Pathfinder Network, Parallel Neighbor Clustering, Nearest Neighbor Centrality, and Triangle Betweenness Centrality. Through this, the relationship between keywords by period was identified, and network analysis and visualization work were performed for virtual reality-based workplace research. Findings Through this study, it is expected that the main keyword knowledge structure flow of virtual reality-based workplace convergence research can be identified, and the relationship between keywords can be identified to provide a major measure for designing directions in subsequent studies.

  • In the post-genomic era, researches on proteins as well as genes have been increasingly required. Particularly, work on protein-protein interaction and protein network construction have been recently establishing. Most biologists publish their research results through papers or other media. However, biologists do not use the information effectively, because the published research results are very large. As the growth of internet field, it becomes easy to access these research results. It is important to extract information with a biological meaning from various media. Therefore, In this paper, we efficiently extract the protein information from many open papers or other media and construct the database of the extracted information. We build a protein network from the established database and then design and implement various pathway analysis algorithms which find biological meaning from the protein network.

  • Background: Infantile colic (IC) is excessive crying in otherwise healthy children. Despite vast research efforts, its etiology remains unknown. Purpose: Most treatments for IC carry various side effects. The collection of evidence may inform researchers of new strategies for the management and treatment of IC as well as new clues for understanding its pathogenesis. This review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the efficacy and possible mechanisms of probiotics for mananaging IC. Methods: Ten papers met the study inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the meta-analysis was conducted using Review Manager (RevMan) software and a random-effects model. Results: This meta-analysis revealed that probiotics are effective for treating infantile colic, while the review showed that this efficacy may be due to their anti-inflammatory effects. Conclusion: Probiotics may be an important treatment option for managing infantile colic due to their anti-inflammatory properties.

  • In the calendar and the advertising catalog, the surface is usually coated by coating polypropylene film. The delamination failure of coating film depends on surface roughness and quality of the substrate paper. In this paper, the mechanisms of delamination failure between the coating film and the paper is investigated by using the root cause analysis as one of techniques of reliability evaluation. The papers used in failure analysis are three kind products made by two domestic and one foreign companies. It found that the main causes of delamination failure between the coating film and the paper were the creation of microvoids caused by shape of filler and their growth caused by contraction of paper.

  • This study is an attempted content analysis study to analyze recent studies on clinical practice of nursing college students to identify problems with clinical practice and provide evidence for desirable clinical practice. For data collection, a total of 14 papers published in academic journals between 2017 and 2021 were selected. The analysis method was performed according to the systematic review reporting guidelines presented by Cochrane Collaboration and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) group. As a result of the analysis, two themes, Four sub-themes, and seventeen concepts were derived, and the clinical practice study of nursing college students showed the necessity of standardized clinical practice protocol regulations for nursing college students and respect for patient human rights. Based on the above research results, it is proposed to prepare a nursing and clinical practice protocol that can clearly present the role of nursing college students during clinical practice.

  • This research aims at identifying through literature analysis the extent of past research related to the protection of personal information and privacy of library users. This study was conducted in 3 stages of literature analysis suggested by other researchers, including Powell (2005). First, I found and collected literature related to personal information and library user privacy. Second, I reviewed the collected literature and identified detailed subjects and core concepts. Third, I analyzed the core subjects, main discussion points, and related examples shown in those papers divided into 7 subgroups. I examine library privacy from various angles through literature analysis, and the results of this paper would be useful for establishing library privacy policies and developing guidelines for librarians.

  • The purpose of this study is to future research directions for the e-logistics area in Korea. To this end this study collected journal papers published in the five Korean academic journals for the last 15 years. The contents analysis of the collected papers includes research topic, research strategies and methods used in the studies. The analysis suggests the four trends: First, management of E-logistics has been more actively studied than other topics; second, "E-commerce research journal" has published E-logistics related studies more than other journals; third, empirical research paradigm is dominant in this research area; last, questionnaire survey is a method most frequently used in this area. E-logistics research is attracting researchers' attention but more efforts are needed to diversify research topics and methods.
