  • The purpose of this study is to propose an objective and rational methodology for the selection of proposed sites far the National Trust(NT), which is the new alterative proposal far the conservation of natural environments destroyed by injudicious land development and economic growth. That is to enforce many analysis for the effective estimation of rare ecological and landscape resources and to propose a model based on estimation and united indicators. Using the estimative model, we apply it to the selection of the proposed site in micro scale and simultaneously offer the basic methodology of effective and systematic land conservation in macro scale. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The results of analysis for the reliability of estimative items and indicators, presented no problem in that the coefficient of reliability was over 0.7. 2) The correlation measure of the estimative indicator indicated that 'succession'and 'regenerating restorability' were highly correlative in the item of plants. Another three items showed a tendency to be alike. 3) The results of factor analysis on the characteristics of indicators, classified plants into four categories including a stable factor. The item of animals was classified as a stable and rare factor. The item of landscape was classified as a physical and mental factor and the environment as a pollutional and conditional factor. 4) The model of estimation created through factor analysis was valid for the approval of the regression model because significant probability was 0.00. When we consider the NT proposed site as a complex body that is composed of diverse natural and manmade resources, certainly the synthetic methodology of estimation is needed. If these studies are carried out, NT sites will be selected more rationally and effectively than at present. Consequently, they have the potential to play a core role of natural ecosystem conservation in Korea.

  • Background: The European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire Bone Metastases Module (EORTC QLQ-BM22) is a recently designed supplement to EORTC Quality of Life Questionnaire-C30 (EORTC QLQ-C30). Additional psychometric properties, especially using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and the Rasch model, are warranted. Materials and Methods: A total of 573 patients with bone metastases were enrolled from eight countries with a mean${\pm}$SD age of $55.8{\pm}13.7years$. Slightly more than two thirds of them were female (n=383; 66.8%). CFA was used to examine the BM22 framework; Rasch models were applied to understand misfit items and differential item functioning (DIF). Results: The fit indices were satisfactory in CFA (comparative fit index=0.972, Tucker-Lewis index=0.964, root mean square error of approximation=0.076, and standardized root mean square residual=0.045). All items fit well in the Rasch models (mean square values were between 0.5 and 1.5), and only one item (number 17) displayed DIF across gender. However, there were six DIF items across Canada and Taiwan, ten across Canada and Iran, and six across Taiwan and Iran. Conclusions: The BM22 has satisfactory psychometric properties, and could assess the QoL of patients with bone metastases specifically focusing on their symptoms. Clinicians may want to use it to capture the underlying QoL for patients with bone metastases. However, the score of item 17 should be interpreted with caution when comparing male and female patients. In addition, researchers should note that variation in DIF items may occur when conducting an international study.

  • Online reviews we encounter commonly on SNS, although a complex range of assessment information affecting the consumer's preferences are included, it is general that such information is just provided by simple numbers or star ratings. Based on those review types, it is not easy to get specific information that consumers want and use it to make a decision for purchase. Therefore, in this study, we propose a prediction methodology that can provide ratings broken down by evaluation items by performing sentiment analysis on restaurant reviews written in Korean. To this end, we select 'food', 'price', 'service', and 'atmosphere' as the main evaluation items of restaurants, and build a new sentiment dictionary for each evaluation item. It also classifies review sentences by rating item, predicts granular ratings through sentiment analysis, and provides additional information that consumers can use to make decisions. Finally, using MAE and RMSE as evaluation indicators it shows that the rating prediction accuracy of the proposed methodology has been improved than previous studies and presents the use case of proposed methodology.

  • In this paper, selecting survey items was performed using three clustering methods: factor analysis, fuzzy c-Means algorithm and cluster analysis. The methods were used to extract key items from various questionnaires. The key item represents several similar questionnaires that form a cluster. Test survey was made of 120 items obtained from several surveys and it was answered by 646 students from 4 universities. Each item contains 6 choices. Applying the clustering method chose 25 items which is reduced from the original 120 items. The results yielded by three methods are very similar.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the word distribution and topic distribution of slow fashion appearing on YouTube in detail and identify the characteristics and aspects related to fashion design through big data analysis and content analysis methods. The specific research results were as follows. First, in the results of the word distribution analysis, "item" appeared the most, 203 times. Also, "one-piece" was a point to pay attention to, as the item had the highest frequency. Second, a total of 5 topics were defined in the topic distribution analysis: topic 1 was "vintage products," topic 2 was "fashion items," topic 3 was "eco-friendly," topic 4 was "life quality emphasis," and topic 5 was "prudent consumption." Third, looking at the relationship between word distribution and topic distribution above, Korean slow fashion on YouTube was actively selecting related design elements that express vintage images in clothing life regardless of trends. In addition, there was a tendency to pursue various basic and high-quality items. Other than those findings, basic items tended to be reinterpreted in various ways through styling methods matched to the vintage image. Lastly, the tendency of slow and small-volume production appeared to emphasize handicrafts and the cultural values of fashion products.

  • This study analyzes consumer fashion purchase patterns from a big data perspective. Transaction data from 1 million transactions at two Korean fashion brands were collected. To analyze the data, R, Python, the SPADE algorithm, and network analysis were used. Various consumer purchase patterns, including overall purchase patterns, seasonal purchase patterns, and age-specific purchase patterns, were analyzed. Overall pattern analysis found that a continuous purchase pattern was formed around the brands' popular items such as t-shirts and blouses. Network analysis also showed that t-shirts and blouses were highly centralized items. This suggests that there are items that make consumers loyal to a brand rather than the cachet of the brand name itself. These results help us better understand the process of brand equity construction. Additionally, buying patterns varied by season, and more items were purchased in a single shopping trip during the spring season compared to other seasons. Consumer age also affected purchase patterns; findings showed an increase in purchasing the same item repeatedly as age increased. This likely reflects the difference in purchasing power according to age, and it suggests that the decision-making process for pur- chasing products simplifies as age increases. These findings offer insight for fashion companies' establishment of item-specific marketing strategies.

  • Fault simulatior has been used to compute exact fault coverages of test vectors for digial circuits. But it is time consuming because execution time is proportional to square of circuit size. Recently, several algorithms for testability analysis have been published to cope with these problems. COP is very fast and accurate but cannot be used for sequential circuits, while STAFAN can be used for sequential circuits but needs vast amount of execution time due to good circuit simulation. We proposed EXTASEC which gave fast and accurate fault coverage. But it shows noticeable errors for a few sequential circuits. In this paper, it is shown that the inaccuracy is due to uninitializble flipflops, and we propose ITEM to improve the EXTASEC algorithm. ITEM is an improved evaluation method of fault coverage by analysis of backward lines and uninitializable flipflops. It is expected to perform efficiently for very large circuits where execution time is critical.
