세일링요트의 기본적 요소와 구조에 관한 소고 (A Study on the Basic Element and Structure of Sailing-yachts)

  • The present investigations were carried out for the most and fundamental elements, what is called maneuverability, stability, safety, rig, sail about the world famous race, VOLVO60 and America's cup. The results obtained are summarized as follows: First, the structure of yacht should be designed with focuse on the preparation for the preparation of collision with other yachts around, with the dumps of iceberg and also whales nearby. At the same time, the accurate calculation on the each structure and equipment of yacht should be processed for the dynamic stability in the rainstorms. Second, VOLVO60, long-distance sailing, should be emphasized on the light weight and the safety, while the boat for America's cup, short-distance sailing, should be stressed on the appropriate weight of the body and the maximum speed for fast maneuverability. Third, up-to-the minute materials should be developed for the appropriate wind power and the turning of directions.

  • 본 논문에서는 해양레저분야에서의 현재 복합재 적용 현황과 33피트급 아메리카스컵 훈련용 세일링 요트 개발에 대해 기술한다. 항공분야와 달리 해양레저 분야에서의 복합재료는 최근에서야 적용 및 사용이 되기 시작했다. 다양한 해양레저 구조물 중에서도 특히, 아메리카스컵 세일링 경주 요트는 빠른 속도를 내야 하기 때문에 경량화 및 높은 기계적 성능이 요구되고 이에 따라 경주용 요트를 건조함에 있어 탄소섬유의 사용은 필수적이다. 탄소섬유강화 플라스틱 경주용 요트 제작 과정을 정립하기 위해 탄소 돛대와 탄소 요트 선체에 대한 최적화 설계와 생산 공법에 대해 논의되었다. 최종적으로 이렇게 제작된 탄소섬유강화복합재 세일링 요트는 운항시험을 통해 경주용 요트로써의 높은 성능을 보여주었다.

포스트 코로나 시대에 드라이브 스루 카페를 활용한 도시공원 디자인 제안 (A Proposal of Urban Park Design Using DT Cafe in Post-COVID Era)

  • 본 연구에서는 포스트코로나 시대의 방역을 위한 사회적 거리두기는 유지하되, 그 이전의 삶을 향유할 수 있는 공간을 재탄생 시켜야 한다는 목적을 가지고 드라이브 스루를 활용한 도시공간 디자인 뉴노멀 계획안을 제시하고자 하였다. 유동인구가 높고 드라이브 스루가 가능한 공간이 있는 곳으로 올림픽공원을 대상으로 카페와 오륜기를 상징하는 5공간의 공원을 디자인한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 올림픽의 오륜기의 색인 파랑, 노랑, 검정, 초록, 빨강을 이용해 카페의 이름인 CUPPY(Cup+Coffee)에 하나씩 입혀 카페 로고를 표현했다. 올림픽의 5대륙(Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, America)을 나누어 5개의 공간으로 공원 안이 구성되어 있으며, 드라이빙 루트도 5개의 공간에 맞춰 오륜기 모양으로 구성하였다. 포스트코로나 시대를 살아가기 위한 여러 분야에서의 변화와 적응이 필요하게 되었다. 그 시대마다의 뉴노멀은 달랐고 달라야만 했던 것 같이 코로나 사태 이후의 도시공원 디자인의 뉴노멀을 제시할 수 있는 연구로 도시공원 디자인에 좋은 예시가 될 것으로 기대하며 더 다양한 환경에 적용한 계속적인 제안과 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

Comparison Study on Brassiere Patterns for Chinese Adult Women - Focused on brassiere patterns of U.S., France, Italy -

  • This study is to suggest a brassiere pattern suitable to the Chinese woman by recognizing the differences among the brassiere patterns of Europe, America and Italy by comparison. Collected data was analyzed by using SPSS 12.0. 1. If seeing the length of the ordinary brassiere's wing in Korea, the mean is 31.02cm to be shorter than these 3 patterns. The length of a wing should be adjusted according to the degree of fabric's elasticity. 2. The ESMOD type shows a high angle of $60^{\circ}$ as the position of a shoulder strip is placed outward a lot compared with other patterns. 3. For the FIT and Marangoni types, the lengths of the inside and the external diameters show similarly to each other but the ESMOD type shows that its inside diameter is 7.5cm and external one is 9.6cm to have the difference of 2.1cm so that it is considered to put the bust together stronger than the others. 4. The cup circumference of the FIT pattern shows to be the biggest and that of the FIT pattern is the smallest. As the FIT pattern has the shape to wrap the side of the bust, it has large circumference but as it has a narrow angle of a dart, it seems to be fit to the woman with a small and flat bust. 5. For 1/2 of the nipple distance of the brassiere for the Korean adult women, it shows to be 6.12cm, much narrower than the patterns studied, and it is noticed that the ESMOD pattern is very similar to the brassier in the Korean market. 6. As the mean keeper height is 6.5cm, it is noticed that it is very similar to the brassier for the Korean adult women if comparing that the brassiere for the Korean adult has the keeper height of 6.5-8.6cm. The Marangoni pattern tends to have a little low and the ESMOD and FIT patterns have a ordinary measure.

커피 생두 등급 및 가공법에 따른 결점두 함량과 컵핑을 통한 관능적 특성 (Contents of Defective Beans and Cup Quality in Relation to the Grade and Processing Methods of Green Coffee)

  • Arabica coffee is classified for trading according to the New York Board of Trade(NYBOT) green coffee classification. NYBOT's grading system is based on classification derived from a defect count on a 300 g sample. In the present study, green and roasted coffees were investigated for possible correlations between the content of defective beans and sensory characteristics. Sensory evaluation was performed by expert tasters used by the Specialty Coffee Association of America(SCAA) cupping method. For green coffee, the percentage of defective beans increased. as the coffee grade decreased. Black and sour beans were not found in the NY2 grade coffee out of all natural, pulped natural, and washed coffee samples. Sour and insect damage were found in more natural coffee samples as the green coffee grade decreased. Green and broken beans were found in more washed coffee samples as the green coffee grade decreased. Flavor, clean, uniformity, aftertaste, and overall sensory characteristics were significantly different among the NY2, NY3/4 and NY4/5 grade coffee in all natural, pulped natural and washed coffee samples. The natural coffee in the NY2 sample presented the highest body characteristic. The pulped natural coffee in the NY2 sample presented the highest sweetness and balance characteristics. The washed coffee in the NY2 sample presented the highest acidity and flavor characteristics. In conclusion, the percentage of defective beans increased as sensory characteristics decreased.
