A SAR Signal Processing Algorithm using Wavenumber Domain

  • SAR는 1987년 미국의 인공위성 Seasat에 의해 사용된 이후 현재 그 활용의 중요성이 점차 증대하고 있는 원격탐사 방법 중 하나이다. SAR는 특수 신호처리를 통하여 실제 안테나의 길이보다 매우 큰 안테나를 사용하는 합성효과를 이용하여 고해상도를 얻는다. 따라서 안테나 자 체의 개발뿐만 아니라 신호처리 기술의 개발이 SAR기술의 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 따라서 실제 신호처리에 관계자 뿐만아니라 SAR영상자료를 해석하여 이용하고자하는 사용자들도 SAR 신호 처리에 대한 이해가 필요시된다. 비록 rangd-Droppler domain을 이용하는 전통적인 SAR신호처 리 방법이 많이 사용되고 있으나 range migration과 azimuch compression에서 여러 문제점을 갖 고 있다. 최근 개발되고 있는 wavenumber domain을 이용한 방법은 좀더 나은 SAR 영상복원을 성취할 수 있는 기반을 마련해 준다. Born(first) 근사법을 이용하여 얻은 새로운 wavenumber domain을 이용한 알고리즘과 비교해볼 때 전통적인 방법의 transfer function은 새로운 방법의 일 차항까지만으로 이뤄진 근사값이다. 새로운 알고리즘을 이용한 모의실험 및 항공기 c-band SAR 로 얻어진 실제 데이터에 적용결과 그 우수성이 판명되었다.

  • This paper describes the development and verification of control algorithms for V2X and environmental sensor integrated intersection support and safety systems. The objective of the research is to develop core technologies for effective fusion of V2X and environmental sensors and to develop new safety function for intersection safety. One of core technologies is to achieve the improvement of GPS accuracy, and the other is to develop the algorithm of a vehicle identification which matches all data from V2X, vehicle sensors and environmental sensors to specific vehicles. A intersection optimal pass (IOP) algorithm is designed based on these core technologies. IOP recommends appropriate speed to pass the intersection in the consideration of traffic light signal and preceeding vehicle existence. Another function is developed to prevent a collision avoidance when car crash caused by traffic violation of surrounding vehicles is expected. Finally all functions are implemented and tested in three test vehicles. It is shown that IOP can support convenient and comfortable driving with recommending optimal pass speed and collision avoidance algorithm can effectively prevent collision caused by traffic sign violation of surrounding vehicles.

  • Biomedical signals are ubiquitously contaminated and degraded by background noise which span nearly all frequency bandwidths. This paper proposes the MADF (multiplication free adaptive digital filter) algorithm to cancel the noise. And the convergence characteristics of the algorithm is analyzed. In the experimental results, the MADF algorithm has the advantage in which has superior to a condition of low-frequency and slow data speed. This application gives an important significance in ensuring the objectivity of clinical information and in promoting the representation and the disease diagnosis.

  • We study on a terrain contour matching algorithm using Radial Basis Functions(RBFs) for aided inertial navigation system for position fixing aircraft, cruise missiles or re-entry vehicles. The parameter optimization technique is used for updating the parameters describing the characteristics of an area with modified Gaussian least square differential correction algorithm and the step size limitation filter according to the amount of updates. We have applied the algorithm for matching a sampled area with a target area supposed that the area data are available from Radar Terrain Sensor(RTS) and Reference Altitude Sensor(RAS)

계층적 생산계획의 계품군 분해해법 개발 (Development of the Family Disaggregation Algorithm for Hierarchical Production Planning)

  • The family disaggregation model of hierarchical production planning (HPP) is the problem of (0 -1) mixed integer programming that minimizes the total sum of setup costs and inventory holding costs over the planning horizon. This problem is hard in a practical sense since optimal solution algorithms have failed to solve it within reasonable computation times. Thus effective familoy disaggregation algorithm should be developed for HPP. The family disaggregation algorithm developed in this paper consists of the first stage of finding initial solutions and the second stage of improving initial solutions. Some experimental results are given to verify the effectiveness of developed disaggregation algorithm.

  • The accurate estimation of software reliability is important to a successful development in software engineering. Until recent days, the models using regression analysis based on statistical algorithm and machine learning method have been used. However, this paper estimates the software reliability using support vector regression, a sort of machine learning technique. Also, it finds the best set of optimized parameters applying immune algorithm, changing the number of generations, memory cells, and allele. The proposed IA-SVR model outperforms some recent results reported in the literature.

  • In this paper, we present an approach for matching images from finding interesting points and applying new image interpolation algorithm. New algorithms are developed that automatically align the input images match them and reconstruct 3-D surfaces. The interpolation algorithm is designed to cope with simple shapes. The proposed image interpolation algorithm generate a rotation image about vertical axes by an any angle from 4 base images. Each base image that was obtained from CCD camera has an angle difference of 90$^{\circ}$ The proposed image interpolation algorithm use the geometric analysis of image and depth information.

  • In this paper we present a new hierarchical layout object extraction algorithm, which is based on rectangles rather than edges. The original layout data is modeled as instances connected by wires. Each polygon shape is divided into a set of rectangles and the instances and wires are extracted and recognized from those rectangles together with their connection and size information. We have applied the algorithm to actual layouts. Experiments on several standard cell library demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.

  • This paper presents a case-building algorithm which can control the design variables of which some variables are designated as the input (known) variables and the remainders are defined as the output (unknown) variables. The case-building algorithm can enhance the design ability by categorizing design case automatically. Common CAD programs for analysis and design of machine elements use a case-selection technique where a programmer set initially a few of design cases and users can only choose one of given cases. This paper also demonstrates the case-building algorithm by applying into CAD programs for power-screw design.

  • This paper proposes a collision warning/avoidance algorithm using a trajectory prediction method. This algorithm is based on 2-dimensional kinematics and the Kalman filter has been used to obtain the information of the object vehicle. This algorithm has been investigated via computer simulation and showed a good trajectory prediction performance. The proposed collision warning/avoidance algorithm would enhanced driver acceptance for a collision warning/avoidance system.
