  • An Airport is important space and even stands for the country because diverse people from other countries use a variety of facilities in the gateway to the country. Therefore, It is urgent for those people to increase efficiency and convenience of its usage. But we have a problem with process of passenger and this paper with the object of finding the solution in case study. This paper focus on information system, especially Intelligent Airport Information System to streamline process of passenger. There are a few of countries adopted this system in process. Therefore, IIAC(Incheon International Airport Corporation) establishing u-Information HUB System. It is unique and differential characteristics to Facilitation and increase passenger's satisfaction. u-Information HUB system unified stakeholder's process of Facilitation in Air Traffic Sides. u-Information HUB system gets the highest state of efficiency to Facilitation.   • An Airport is important space and even stands for the country because diverse people from other countries use a variety of facilities in the gateway to the country. Therefore, It is urgent for those people to increase efficiency and convenience of its usage and also. It's worth accumulating those know-how and technologies. In this situation, Incheon International Airport aiming to be a hub of north-east Asia need to focus more on restructuring general process of passenger's travel based on PI perspectives then simply improving a process of passenger's travel and have been trying to realize the process based on Innovation perspectives with following precess innovation consisting 5 steps And to conclude, this study will help Incheon International Airport to be innovative in a system of passenger's travel service related to a utility of airport and then achieve a hub Airport of North-East Asia.

Research on Impact of Airport Service Quality on Passenger Satisfaction: A Comparison of Incheon Airport and Beijing Capital Airport

  • The purpose of this paper is to design a survey of passenger satisfaction by using the Likert five-scale for the passengers of Incheon International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport in China, and to combine the actual service situation of the airports in the two countries, using SPSS statistical software. Analyze and process statistics. Using the questionnaire survey method and exploratory factor analysis method, the airport service quality is analyzed to analyze the impact model of customer satisfaction. We will sort out the customer satisfaction with the two airports, compare and analyze the gaps in airport services between the two countries, and identify problems to formulate optimization and improvement plans.

  • 본 연구는 시설 확장비용과 승객들의 지체시간 감소에 따른 편익을 고려한 항공의 핵심 시설 확장 문제를 다루고자 한다. 이를 위해 우리는 시계열 예측방법으로 널리 알려진 ARIMA model를 활용하여 계절 및 주기를 갖는 항공피크 수요를 예측한다. 승객이 공항에 도착한 후에 공항 내에서의 승객들의 흐름과 지체를 고려하여 실제 지체 편익을 추정하기 위해 이산사건 시뮬레이션 모형을 설계한다. 비용과 편익 간의 상충관계를 통해 우리는 컨베이어의 경제적 확장 대수를 결정한다. 인천공항의 사례를 활용한 실험이 수행되었으며, 실험 결과는 본 접근방법이 계절에 따른 승객의 도착 유형과 공항 내의 동적인 흐름을 반영한 시설의 확장 문제를 해결하는 데 효과적임을 보인다.

청주국제공항 활성화 방안 연구: 공항시설, 접근교통 및 운항 네트워크를 중심으로 (Study on Revitalization Plan for Cheongju International Airport: Focusing on Airport Facilities, Access Transportation, and Flight Network)

  • In this study, we reviewed access transportation, operating companies, and airport infrastructure to revitalize Cheongju International Airport. Regarding access transportation infrastructure, it is necessary to promote a railway network connecting the metropolitan inland line and the central inland region. In addition, active administrative support from local governments is required to ensure smooth progress in railway and highway infrastructure linkage projects, such as the Osong Connecting Line and Chungbuk Line, high-speed rail network promotion, and expansion of the Chungbuk Eastern Axis Expressway and Central Expressway. Regarding operator access infrastructure, continuous efforts are required to add and attract airlines based at Cheongju International Airport. Regarding airport infrastructure, the Cheongju International Airport runway needs complete resurfacing due to its deterioration. Domestic passenger capacity has exceeded 6.5%, and considering the increase in import and export of high value-added goods in the North Chungcheong region, it is necessary to build and expand passenger terminals and cargo terminals. Cheongju International Airport's runway does not have enough runway length to operate large and ultra-large aircraft, so if it is extended from the existing 2,744m to 456m to 3,200m, several benefits can be expected in terms of revitalizing Cheongju Airport, such as route expansion.

한중 전략노선 운수권 교환가치 분석: 인천국제공항을 중심으로 (Analysis on the Exchange Value of Traffic Rights between Korea and China Strategic Route: Focusing On Incheon International Airport)

  • In China, the government has aggressively led the construction and expansion of airports across China. Upon this opportunity, "Korea-China" network is expected to expand. Therefore this study tried to deduce implications for Incheon International Airport by expansion of "Korea-China" traffic rights. As a result of analyzing the exchange values of traffic rights on the "Incheon~Beijing/Chengdu" routes, it was found that there is a concern that Chinese airlines could make inroads into Korean airline's market. In both routes, Korean airline's market share and passenger demand increased while the sales decreased after expanding traffic rights. On the other hand, Chinese airlines showed an increase in sales and a larger passenger growth than Korean airlines. Therefore it is necessary for the government to expand the traffic rights through detailed route value analysis.

공항지상업무시스템에 대한 서비스 수준의 평가 (Service Level Evaluation for the Airport Landside System)

  • The new concept of level of service for the airport system indicates that there must be strong stimulation to proceed with the current stereotyped service standards which are being criticised due to their being based on, either physical capacity/volume or temporal/spatial standards that directly incorporates the perception of passengers. Quantitative factors have been dealt with the main service measurements when evaluating level of service. However, the passenger's perception for the provision service at the airport system is definitely important consideration to assess level of service. To enhance the reliability of service level evaluation from the passenger's point of view, this study has adopted three main evaluation factors ; temporal/spatial factors as quantitative measurements and comfort and reasonable service factors as qualitative measurements. The multi-decision model was constructed using Fuzzy Set Theory and applied to a case study at Seoul Kimpo International Airport. Results are presented in terms of passenger satisfaction with a variety of different values.

  • Utilization rate for the restrictive gate and required time and walking distance to board are to be a measure for the gate management and passenger's convenience estimation. So, the main purpose of the gate management are maximization of utilization rate and increment of airport terminal user's convenience through the efficient gate management. This study intends to maximize the utilization rate on usable gates and minimize the passenger's working distance in terminal by concerning about layout, terminal configuration, local passenger of the airport and formulate the gate assignment problem with integer linear programming problem. Then we obtained solution using optimization software LINGO and analyzed that maximize the number of assignment flights and minimize the passenger's walking distance.

  • In maned airport, crews may have risks as they manage passenger control system in IPMS in damage situations such as fire in a airport. So the application of unmanned autonomous system can reduce the number of boarding crews and attribute to safe airplane transportation. PBBC model can be used to obtain control strategy, and airplane and enhance operators' skill by simulating the airport. The paper suggests an intelligent system of the pbbc control using microprocessor in integrated platform management system which can take measures against passenger situation of a airplane excluding unnecessary warnings with undamaged situations. The system here detected the passenger more accurately and adopted more appriate measures according to airplane status compared with conventional systems.

경제환경 변화와 항공여객 수요 간의 관계 분석: 인천국제공항을 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship between Economic Change and Air Passenger Demand: Focus on Incheon International Airport)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of macroeconomic variables on air passenger demand and provide useful information to airport managers and policymakers. Therefore, using the quarterly macroeconomic indicators from 2002 to 2017, the relationship with air passenger demand was demonstrated by multiple regression analysis. In the previous studies, they used GDP, Korea Treasury Bond, KOSPI index, USD/KRW Exchange Rate, and WTI Crude Oil Price variables. In this study, we used the Coincident Composite Index, Employment Rate, Consumer Sentiment Index, and Private Consumption Rate used as additional variables. It has confirmed that if the consumption of research results expands or the economic environment is right, it will affect the increase in international passengers. In other words, it confirmed that the overall economic situation acts as the main factor determining air passenger demand. It confirmed that the economic environment at the past has a significant impact on air passenger demand.
