종합공동육묘장의 설비 자동화에 관한 연구 -파종시스템- (Study on Automation of Integrated Seedling Production System - Planting Device-)

  • An automatic drum seeder was developed to improve the seeding operation. It consisted of a conveyor to transfer seedling trays, a seed-hopper to supply seeds, a drum to drop seeds on the tray, and an air blower to remove extra seeds. A photo sensor was used to detect the transfer of seedling trays, and its signal was fed into microcomputer which operated a stepping motor driving the drum. The seeds were adhered to the surface of drum by vacuum pressure, and were dropped into tray cells by compressed air. An air connection unit was devised to alternate between vacuum pressure and compressed air. A control program for the system, written in C language, could operate the drum at the given number of revolutions and revolutions per minute. The results showed that the air connection unit could operate well and the seeds were dropped satisfactorily into tray cells. In case of cabbage and perilla seeds, which are regular and spherical shape, the missing rate was low and the single seeding rate was more than 97%. Low missing rate and high multiple seeding rate were observed in lettuce seeds which have narrow ends with tight weight. The missing rate of pepper seed was very high because of heavy weight and irregular shape. To improve the performance of the seeder, adjustment of vacuum pressure based upon shape and weight of the seeds, careful selection of the material of drum, maintenance of consistent air blower pressure, and replacement of stepping motor to DC motor are recommended.

  • The HVAC(Heating Ventilation and Air conditioning) system is controlled by two ways, one is ON/OFF control and the other is PWM inverter with V/F. Control of blower with the use of PWM inverter has quite some benefits such as the capability of changing speed, high efficiency and reduced noise level compared with ON/OFF control. But if blower is operated at low speed, high THD generated by decrease of ma, and output voltage lowered in proportion to frequency. To solve these problems, filter should be installed at the output stage of inverter, which can decrease THD but has problems such as increase of volume size and additional braking resistance. This paper proposes the PWAM method which can reduce THD instead of installing the filter at the output stage of inverter. The proposed PWAM method is an inverter modulation method that fixes the modulation index of inverter to reduce THD by varying DC link voltage of inverter unlike conventional PWM method. Finally, the validity of proposed PWAM methods verified by experiments.

타워형 에어컨 송풍기 소음의 능동제어 (Active Control of Noise from Fan Blowers in Tower-type Air Conditioners)

  • This paper investigates active noise control of tower-type air conditioners using the filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm to reduce fan blower noise transmission. Firstly, the main components required for the active control system including the error sensor, the control speaker and the reference sensors are selected. Since the noise could significantly reduce if the reference signal includes every frequency response information, a various reference signals from accelerometers and a microphone are used. Secondly, the controller based on the FXLMS algorithm with a single-channel reference signal is implemented. Then, the control performance is examined experimentally for the different reference signals. It is found that the accelerometer signal well possesses the motor vibration related noise and a microphone signal could includes global noise. When using the reference signal with a microphone located near the motor and the fan blower, the active control system reduces the noise globally, except for several peaks.

제어알고리즘 개발을 위한 변압기 냉각시스템의 수학적모델 (Mathematical Models of a Transformer Cooling System for the Control Algorithm Development)

  • In order to improve the efficiency of a main transformer in a train, the optimal operation of a cooling system is necessary. For the development of optimal control algorithms of a cooling system, mathematical models of a main transformer cooling system were developed. These include static and dynamic models of a main transformer, an oil pump, an oil cooler, and a blower. Static models were used to find optimal oil temperatures of the inlet and the outlet of a transformer. Dynamic models were used to predict transient performances of control algorithms of a blower and an oil pump. Simulation results showed good predictions of the static and the dynamic behavior of a main transformer cooling system. Therefore, mathematical models developed in this study may be effectively used for the development of control algorithms of a main transformer cooling system.

응축형 가스보일러시스템의 제어 알고리즘 개발을 위한 효과적인 동적모델 (Effective Dynamic Models for the Development of Control Algorithms of a Condensing Gas Boiler System)

  • Condensing gas boiler units may make a big role for the reduction of energy consumption in heating industries. In order to decrease the energy consumption of a condensing gas boiler unit, effective operations of the system are necessary. In this study, mathematical models of a condensing gas boiler system were developed in order to develop control algorithms of the system. These include dynamic models of a blower, a gas valve, a pump, a burner, a boiler heat exchanger, and a hot water heat exchanger. Control algorithms of a blower, a gas valve, and a pump were also assumed. Simulation results showed good predictions of dynamic behaviors of a boiler system. Therefore, the simulation program developed for this study may be effectively used for the development of control algorithms of a boiler system.

코안다 효과를 이용한 에어 블로어와 흡입구의 유동 제어 (Flow control of air blowing and vacuuming module using Coanda effect)

  • 도시철도 터널 내에 축적된 미세먼지(PM10 and PM2.5)의 제거를 위해 사용되는 분진흡입차량은 에어 블로어와 흡입시스템으로 구성된 하부흡입시스템의 설계방법에 따라 성능이 달라진다. 본 논문에서는 터널 집진차량의 하부에 설치된 먼지 흡입시스템의 효율 향상을 위하여 흡입구와 에어 블로어에 코안다 효과를 이용한 유속 조절장치를 적용하여 그 효과를 확인하였다. 특히, 공기 유동에 대한 수치해석을 통하여 진공 흡입구 내에 코안다 효과를 이용한 유속조절장치를 적용하였으며, 유속 조절각이 약 90도 내외일 때 유속의 상승과 더불어 유동의 안정화가 동시에 이루어질 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 링 블로어에 의해 동작되는 에어 나이프형 공기 블로어는 양쪽 끝 가장자리에 코안다 효과를 유도할 수 있는 엣지 구조를 삽입함으로써 블로어 양 끝단의 유속 저하를 개선할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 4개의 통합된 모듈 형식의 흡입 시스템의 설계는 최적화를 통하여 바닥 먼지가 비산됨과 동시에 흡입구로 흡입되어 궤도면에 누적된 미세먼지와 초미세먼지의 제거에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

발전용 Soot Blower 최적운전에 관한 연구 (A Study on Optimal Operation for Soot Blower of Power Plant)

  • An optimal soot blowing system has been developed for an optimal operation of power utility boilers by both minimization of the use of steam and the number of soot blowers worked during soot blowing. Traditionally, the soot blowing system has been operated manually by operators. However, it causes the reduction of power and thermal performance degradation because all soot blowers installed in the plant should be worked simultaneously even there are lots of tubes those are not contaminated by slagging or fouling. Heat transfer area is divided into four groups, furnace, convection area including superheater, reheater and economizer, and air preheater in the present study. The condition of cleanness of the tubes is calculated by several parameters obtained by sensors. Then, a part of soot blowers works automatically where boiler tubes are contaminated. This system has been applied in a practical power plant. Therefore, comparison has been done between this system and manual operation and the results are discussed.

  • In order to improve the efficiency of a main transformer in a tilting train, the optimal operation of a cooling system is necessary. For the development of optimal control algorithms of a cooling system, mathematical models of a main transformer cooling system were developed. These include dynamic models of a main transformer, an oil pump, an oil cooler, a blower, and a pipe. Control algorithms for a blower and an oil pump were selected in order to identify the effectiveness of dynamic models. A simulation program was developed by using the developed dynamic models and the selected control algorithms. Simulation results showed good predictions of dynamic behaviors of a main transformer cooling system. Therefore, dynamic models, which were developed in this study, may be effectively used to develop control algorithms of a main transformer cooling system.

  • New government, the market for stationary fuel cell systems in domestic is expected to expand in line with the policy for expanding new and renewable energy. In order to promote and expand the domestic market for stationary fuel cell systems, it is required to do research and develop for cost reduction and efficiency improvement technologies through the localization of BOP. In this study, the safety performance including the power consumption, flow rate, noise and air-tightness of the domestic fuel booster blower and the foreign fuel booster blower was evaluated and the performance improvement of the domestic blower was confirmed. As a result of the power consumption measurement and the flow rate according to the back pressure of the A company 2nd prototype and B company, the values were 73 W, 27 LPM, and 55 W, 25 LPM. These results are attributed to the improvement of performance through design changes such as CAM angle and diaphragm material.

열진공 챔버용 극저온 블로워 설계 및 성능평가 (Design and Performance Tests of a Cryogenic Blower for a Thermal Vacuum Chamber)

  • 위성체의 지상 검증 시험에는 열진공 챔버가 사용되며, 열제어 시스템은 열진공 챔버의 핵심이라고 할 수 있다. 특히, 기체 질소를 이용한 폐회로 열제어 시스템의 성능은 극저온 블로워의 성능에 의해 결정된다. 본 연구의 최종 목표는 설계 요구조건 $-150^{\circ}C{\sim}150^{\circ}C$의 온도 조건, 유량 150 CFM, 0.5 bara 이상의 차압을 갖는 극저온 블로워를 개발하는 것으로, 1차원 해석툴 및 CFD를 이용한 성능해석을 통해 임펠러를 설계 하였으며, 구동부와 유체부의 열전달 방지를 위한 열장벽, 모터의 과열 방지를 위한 냉각 시스템 등이 설계되었다. 표준대기상태에서 실험을 통해 성능을 검증하였으며, 최종적으로 열진공 챔버내에 설치하여 운영 조건에서 극저온 블로워의 성능을 확인하였다.
