협동교전능력(CEC) 체계구축을 위한 해상작전 적용효과 분석 방법론 (A Methodology for Analyzing Effects of the Cooperative Engagement Capability System Applied to Naval Operations)

  • The Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) System produces a synergy between the sensors and shooters that are used on various platforms by integrating them. Even the US Navy has been recently adopting the CEC system that maximizes the effectiveness of the air defense operations by efficiently coordinating the dispersed air defense assets. The Navy of other countries are conducting research studies on the theory and application methods for the CEC system. The ROK Navy has limited air defense capabilities due to its independent weapons systems on battle ships. Therefore, the ROK Navy is currently going through a phase where research on proving the validity of building the CEC system because it will provide a way to overcome the limit of the platform based air defense capability. In this study, our goal is to propose methods that maximize the air defense capability of ROK Navy, identify the available assets for constructing the CEC system, and estimate effects of the CEC system when it is applied to the naval operations. In addition, we will provide a simple model that was developed to estimate these effects and a case study with virtual data to demonstrate the effects of the system when it is applied to the naval operations. The research result of this study will provide a way for building the basis of the Korean CEC system.

  • 최근 드론의 기술력은 급속하게 발전하고 있으며 군사용 드론은 모든 전장 환경(육상/해상/공중)에서 아군의 피해 없이 적의 중요한 전략 자산에 심각한 피해를 줄 수 있을 만큼 전장에서 역할이 커지고 있다. 그러나 현재 우리 해군이 운용중인 전투함의 함정 전투체계는 드론에 대한 맞춤형 방어체계를 갖추지 않아 방어에 취약하다. 기술의 발전을 미루어 보아 미래에는 해군에 큰 위협이 될 수밖에 없다. 본 논문에서는 전투체계 교전 소프트웨어가 대드론전 상황에 적합한 대응 모드를 설정하고 드론 위협에 선제 대응하기 위해 위협 세력의 우선순위를 평가하며 자함에 탑재 무장과 센서의 자동 할당 대응을 통해 드론 위협을 제거하는 방안을 제안하고 모의 환경에서의 개선된 교전 소프트웨어 시험을 통해 최종적으로 드론에 대응하는 시간이 62% 개선되었음을 확인하였다.

저고도 방공자동화체계의 운용아키덱처 개발 (A Development of the Operational Architecture of a Low Altitude Air Defense Automation System)

  • 본 연구는 시스템엔지니어링적 접근방법을 통한 저고도 방공자동화체계의 운용아키텍처 개발을 기술한다. 미래 전장은 단일전구 내에서 다수의 다양한 센서체계와 슈터체계가 각각의 그리드를 형성하고, 네트워크기반 전장관리에 의해 지휘통제(C2: Command and Control)되는 신복합시스템 개념으로 변화하고 있다. 미래 위협은 UAV나 순항미사일 그리고 전술탄도미사일과 같이 전략적 효과가 큰 무인 항행체의 사용으로 특성화 될 수 있으며, 저고도 스텔스 순항미사일과 같은 새로운 위협이 등장하게 될 것이다. 이러한 미래 위협에 대한 저고도방공 운용개념 설정은 시스템엔지니어링 기반의 복합적이고 통합적인 접근방법이 요구된다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 임무 및 미래 운용환경의 식별을 통해 운용시나리오를 작성하고 운용요구사항을 도출했으며, 컴퓨터지원 시스템엔지니어링도구인 CORE 5.0을 사용하여 네트워크기반의 저고도 방공자동화체계의 운용아키텍처를 제시했다.

Link-16 기반의 효율적인 공대지 항공작전 모델 설계 (Establishment for Efficiency Air-To-Ground Air Operation Model in Link-16)

  • As CAS, X-ATK, and INT models considered as the most typical Air-to-Ground operation models in ROKAF are mainly designed as the voice-centered system between aircraft and ground control facilities, it is critical to newly develop the Link-16 based model for the ROK-US combined operation between F-15K, AWACS, M-SAM, and KDX-III equipped with Link-16. Former studies had been limited to the CAS operation, and they had mainly focused on reducing the voice transmission time to exchange the information between each mission step with maintaining existing operation steps. Therefore, this paper makes up the weak point in former studies, thereby designing new Air-to-Ground operation model for CAS, X-ATK, INT mission using Enterprise Architecture OV6c, which enables both aircraft and ground control facilities or between aircraft to obtain the real-time information on the location, identification, armament and the real-time image data through the broadcasting function. Based on the analysis of new operation model, we come to a conclusion that by simultaneously exchanging the information on mission between nodes concerned through the broadcasting function of Link-16. It is possible to cut down superfluous steps among the mission steps, and to reduce the mission time. It is clear that it gives rise to improve the battle efficiency and the decision-making tempo as well as the battlefield situational awareness.

공대공 전투 모의를 위한 규칙기반 AI 교전 모델 개발 (The Development of Rule-based AI Engagement Model for Air-to-Air Combat Simulation)

  • Since the concept of Manned-UnManned Teaming(MUM-T) and Unmanned Aircraft System(UAS) can efficiently respond to rapidly changing battle space, many studies are being conducted as key components of the mosaic warfare environment. In this paper, we propose a rule-based AI engagement model based on Basic Fighter Maneuver(BFM) capable of Within-Visual-Range(WVR) air-to-air combat and a simulation environment in which human pilots can participate. In order to develop a rule-based AI engagement model that can pilot a fighter with a 6-DOF dynamics model, tactical manuals and human pilot experience were configured as knowledge specifications and modeled as a behavior tree structure. Based on this, we improved the shortcomings of existing air combat models. The proposed model not only showed a 100 % winning rate in engagement with human pilots, but also visualized decision-making processes such as tactical situations and maneuvering behaviors in real time. We expect that the results of this research will serve as a basis for development of various AI-based engagement models and simulators for human pilot training and embedded software test platform for fighter.

정 공청 장군 유품에 대한 연구 (A Study for the Armor of General Jung, Gong-chung)

  • This thesis researched for the conservation of a suit of armor, one glove, one belt, and on knife case that General Jung, Gong-chung had been worn in the early 17 th centuries. The armor was Doojung-kab for the battle. It was made of two kinds of fabrics, one of them was silk satin's outer fabrics, the other was quilt4d cotton's lining. as the armor was made of silk and cotton, it was treated by dry solvents and dry soap. In the dry cleaning method, used solvents were n-hexane, cyclohexane, benzene, and n-decane. the volume ratio of dry soap was 120: 1. The reaction temperature was 30℃, and reaction time was 10 to 30 minutes per one turn. The glove, belt and knife case were made with leather. They were dipped on the polyethyleneglycol 150 saturated solution during 24hours at 50℃ and then dried naturally. They were washed by toluene to remove the untreated pp.E.G. on the surfaces. It was sterilized by two gases of methylenebromide and ethyleneoxied. For the conservation, it was packed thoroughly by ? polyethylene film sheet without air.

  • 사이버 공격은 조직과 국가에 큰 피해를 주려는 목적으로 정보를 가로채고 파괴하는 의도적인 행동으로 빚어지는 경우가 많다. 이에 따라 국제 표준화 기구(ISO)는 ISO/IEC 27000 시리즈 등 정보 자산의 보호를 위한 표준 문서를 지침으로 제공한다. 하지만 지침만 제공할 뿐 자산 보호를 위한 구체적인 방법이나 절차가 포함되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 공군의 긴급 CAS(Close Air Support) 작전을 대상으로 추후 사이버 전투 피해평가를 위해 사이버 공격에 의한 정보 자산에 대한 점수를 가산화 한다. 긴급 CAS 작전 시뮬레이션 진행 후 도출된 요소를 가지고 객관적인 수치라고 할 수 있는 CIA(Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability)지표들과 군 정보를 접목시켜 자산의 중요성을 계산하고 나아가 가중치를 주어 차별성을 가지게 된다.

함정 대공방어시스템의 효과도를 활용한 피격성 추정 가능성 연구 (A Feasibility Study on the Estimation of a Ship's Susceptibility Based on the Effectiveness of its Anti-Air Defense Systems)

  • Recently, the increased use of anti-ship guided missiles, a weapon system that detects and attacks targets in naval engagement, has come to pose a major threat to the survivability of ships. In order to improve the survivability of ships in response to such anti-ship guided missiles, many studies of means to counteract them have been conducted in militarily advanced countries. The integrated survivability of a ship can be largely divided into susceptibility, vulnerability, and recoverability, and is expressed as the conditional probability, if the ship is hit, of damage and recovery. However, as research on susceptibility is a major military secret of each country, access to it is very limited and there are few publicly available data. Therefore, in this study, a possibility of estimating the susceptibility of ships using an anti-air defense system corresponding to anti-ship guided missiles was reviewed. To this, scenarios during engagement, weapon systems mounted to counter threats, and maximum detection/battle range according to the operational situation of the defense weapon system were defined. In addition, the effectiveness of the anti-air defense system and susceptibility was calculated based on the performance of the weapon system, the crew's ability to operate the weapon system, and the detection probability of the detection/defense system. To evaluate the susceptibility estimation feasibility, the sensitivity of the detailed variables was reviewed, and the usefulness of the established process was confirmed through sensitivity analysis.

CBBA 기반 SEAD 임무를 위한 이종무인기의 분산형 임무할당 알고리듬 연구 (Distributed Task Assignment Algorithm for SEAD Mission of Heterogeneous UAVs Based on CBBA Algorithm)

  • 본 논문에서는 CBBA 알고리듬을 이용하여 SEAD 임무를 위한 이종무인기의 분산형 임무할당 알고리듬을 다룬다. SEAD 임무는 다수의 무인기를 다수의 대공 방어망 목표물에 할당 시키는 임무할당문제로 정의 할 수 있으며, 작전에 참여하는 무인기는 대공 방어망 파괴를 주목표 하는 위즐(weasel)과 주요 작전 및 전투 피해 평가를 수행하는 스트라이커(striker)로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 최단경로생성 알고리듬과 CBBA 알고리듬을 이용하여 지형 장애물(terrain obstacle)이 있는 환경에서의 경로계획이 고려 된 이종 무인기의 분산형 임무할당 기법을 개발하고 SEAD 임무에 적용한다. 수치 시뮬레이션을 통하여 개발 된 기법의 성능과 적용가능성에 대해 검토한다.

  • The ultrasonic welding is with features of high electric conductivity and hot conductivity when it is used in metallic bond, high electric conductivity and hot conductivity when it is used in various metallic bonds, excellent quality when it is used for advanced junction, easiness when it is used in various metallic bonds, being needless for the exhaustive material and being benefit for the environment. Currently the use of ultrasonic welding is increasing in the industrial fields such as the automobile battle, the refrigerator, the air conditioner, the battery and the solar cell junction. But the production ability is insufficient in our country and it is necessary to explore the core technology of the ultrasonic welding. In this paper, the output LC resonance filter and 35kHz squal wave onion occurrence Full Bridge plans was designed. The output examination of the ultrasonic oscillator and the ultrasonic welding examination were done. The method for getting more smooth result in the ultrasonic welding machine system was researched.
