This paper conducted a feasibility study by applying an Internet of Things and Artificial intelligence-based management system for the elderly living alone in an aging society. The number of single-person families over the age of 50 is expected to increase, and problems such as health, safety, and loneliness may occur due to aging. Therefore, by establishing an IoT-based care system for the elderly living alone, a stable service was developed through securing a rapid response system for the elderly living alone and automatically reporting 119. The participants of the demonstration test were subjects under the jurisdiction of the "Seongnam Senior Complex," and the data collection rate between the IoT sensor and the emergency safety gateway was high. During the demonstration period, as a result of evaluating the satisfaction of the IoT-based care system for the elderly living alone, 90 points were achieved. We are currently in the COVID-19 situation. Therefore, the number of elderly living alone is continuously increasing, and the number of people who cannot benefit from care services will continue to occur. Also, even if the COVID-19 situation is over, the epidemic will happen again. So the care system is essential. The elderly care system developed in this way will provide safety management services based on artificial intelligence-based activity pattern analysis, improving the quality of in-house safety services.

As the aging of this society, instead of growing numbers old protective functions of families decreased according to increasing tendency of nuclear families, increasing rates of females' participation of economic activities. Now, the problem of supporting the old is in need of social supporting system the cope with this situation. Thus it needs that welfare service for the elderly who stay at home that have local basis. The results are based on these factors are like this: 1) It is necessarily the instruction of medical welfare service. 2) The overlapped service is avoided and the service of specialized. 3) Most of the welfare service institution is Seoul and local city hall, so it needs the institution is transferred. 4) It needs the increase the number of home helper. 5) When the service is offered, the government must considers finance, elderly health condition and preference. 6) It needs the department for the welfare service for the old who stay at home.

This research is about the result of leakage current waveform about the situation of surface leakage current and environmental changes(Salt fog, clean fog and rain) by EPDM polymer insulators' amount of salt. The researcher presents the result of changing about fundamental harmonic, 3rd harmonic and 5th harmonic from starting point of supplying power to flashover. In this study, researched environmental affects (clean fog, salt fog and rain) about surface aging of polymer insulators and used frequency spectrum of leakage current waveform to develop the diagnostic technique of surface aging. When amount of salt contents changed, surface aging stage and the degree of aging (distortion factor) about 3rd and 5th harmonic waveform on low frequency harmonic wave. The distortion factor which is harmonic percentage about basic harmonic is important pointer to evaluate the surface condition of polymer insulators.

Korea has entered into an aged-society in 2018. If this trend continues to increase, it is expected that a super-aging society will take place by 2026. Therefore, Korea is placed in the situation of becoming the world's fastest aging nation as it becomes a super-aging society from an aged-society in twenty-six years. In order to provide an effective supply of nutrition for the socially weak, Japan developed a variety of foods with food texture improvements. Germany improved accessibility for meal service development. Senior-friendly food is a softened food or a highly concentrated drink, which is considered a texture-modified food, for the elderly with eating disorders to digest food more easily by making food particles smaller. Varying food processing techniques such as freeze-thawing enzyme impregnation, high-pressure processing, super-heated steam processing, 3D food print, and others used to produce texture-modified foods.

This paper introduces a smart aging service that helps the elderly lead a happy old age by actively utilizing IoT and AI technologies for the elderly who are increasing rapidly as they enter the aging society. In particular, we propose a future-oriented, age-friendly well-being support system that breaks away from the existing welfare concept to solve the aging problem but leads to a paradigm shift toward building a vibrant aging society by protecting from emergency and satisfying emotions. By introducing IoT and AI, it judges the life situation and emotional state from the living information of the elderly can respond to emergencies and suggest meetings as a change of mood and give an emotional comfort. Since the proposed system uses artificial intelligence techniques to determine the degree of depression when inputting information such as pulse-rate, dangerous word usage, and external communication, I think it showed the feasibility of the new concept of wellbeing support system that is totally different from conventional wellbeing concept of health-care.

People's thinking and aging ways, which are spread in the abnormal situation called the reoognition panic, are different from those in the normal situation. So the design which is applied to this situation have the different points to be considered. The design in the abnormal situation is as important as that in the normal situation. This study is to evaluate the basic usability of the icons which are applied to this situation. The basic data about the recognition course, icon and metaphor have been collected and analyzed, and then the experiments based on this have been planned. The proprieties and conclusions about the ways have been generalized through accomplishing and analyzing the planned experiments. The most important meaning of this study is to suggest the examples of the usability estimating ways of the design works in the abnormal situation where the recognition panic may happen with high frequency. I hope that this study will be used for checking and improving in advance the difficulties of using the design which may happen in the real situation, by using actively the similar ways to this experiment.

As the elderly population is becoming an aging society, the elderly are experiencing many problems. Social security costs for the elderly are increasing and the un-linked social phenomenon is emerging. Thus, the social infrastructure and welfare system established in the past economic growth period are in danger of not functioning properly. People socially isolated or with chronic diseases among the elderly are exposed to various accidents. Thus, an active healthcare management service is imperative. Additionally, in the event of a dangerous situation, the system must have ways to notify guardians (family or medical personnel) regarding appropriate action. Thus, in this paper, we propose the smartphone-based healthcare and emergency response service platform. The proposed service platform aggregates movement of relevant data in real-time using a smartphone. Based on aggregated data, it will always recognize the user's movements and current state using the human motion recognition mechanism. Thus, the proposed service platform provides real-time status monitoring, activity reports, a health calendar, location-based hospital information, emergency situation detection, and cloud messaging server-based efficient notification to several subscribers such as family, guardians, and medical personnel. Through this service, users or guardians can augment the level of care for the elderly through the reports. Also, if an emergency situation is detected, the system immediately informs guardians so as to minimize the risk through immediate response.

Korea entered the aging society in 2000 and has been officially classified as an aged society as of 2019. As a result thereof, the number of aging seamen and the number of marine accidents of aging crews have consistently increased every year. The aging of drivers, in the relam of road traffic, is the same as those in the field of shipping. However, research and policy-making to solve these problems in the realm of road transportation are more active than in the shipping field. Therefore, this study is aimed at finding education methods for reducing traffic accidents by old aging drivers and determining the benchmark in terms of maritime education. In the area of domestic and foreign road traffic, traffic safety education for older aging drivers is implemented as a way to reduce the causes of human factors in traffic accidents. This study analyzed the current situation of the maritime education field and combined it with the solution in the field of road traffic. First, it is deemed necessary to implement professional license acquisition education. Second, job refresher training for the renewal of the license for aging seamen has to be implemented. Lastly, it is imperative to implement the age transition education for aging seamen. This study, however, is limited to determining the improvement plan for maritime education in relation to aging seamen. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate varying studies in the future.

Recently, In Korea, diverse elderly facilities have increased by geometric progression cope with rapidly aging society. But, there haven't been enough systematic understanding about elderly housing. To approach the concept of elderly housing, the clear theory of its definition and types should be established. Thus, the purpose of this study is to set up the concept of elderly housing and clear definition, and to recreate criteria fit our situation. This study was proceeded by contents analysis of elderly housing environment in prior research. First, we understand the use of terms about elderly housing in references and redefine. Then, analyze the cases of categorizations in developed countries. Finally, the research point out current problems and make criteria in housing environmental aspects. This study leads new perspective to consist synthetic services according to special conditions of elderly, far from the economical point of view. It will contribute to understand elderly housing designing aging friendly environment.

As a result of rapid aging speed in our society, many problems related to elderly people have happened in many parts of our society. Among them, supply for elderly housing is one of the biggest problems. To solve these problems, 'long-term care insurance' has been put in operation from July 2008. By the time of the insurance operation, Ministry of Health and Welfare is increasing facilities every year according to '10-year expending plan of Care service infra' from 2002. As a result, the supply rate of elderly facilities has been raised. But the differences of facility supply rate between regions are very high in some cases. Therefore older people who need care sometimes cannot get proper care services in some areas. In that case, the frail older people have to use other care facilities of other regions. This is not a proper situation from the point of "Aging in Place". In order to prevent that case, it is necessary to set up proper 'Daily Living Spheres' and establish elderly care plan for it. Considering the points above, this study proposes the size of 'Daily Living Spheres' for the elderly, the kind and amount of elderly care facilities in it for the construction of Community Based Elderly Care System.
