2014년 기준 65세 이상 노인은 전체인구의 12.7%로서 우리나라는 조만간에 고령사회로 진입하게 되고 노인 등 교통약자들도 다양한 사회경제적 활동으로 일반인과 동등하게 안전하고 편리하게 이동할 수 있도록 이동권이 보장되어야 한다. 교통약자의 가장 기본적인 수단인 보행은 일반인과 다른 보행특성을 보임에도 불구하고 기존 보행 관련 시설 및 운영은 이에 대한 고려가 부족한 현실이다. 본 연구는 융복합 시대를 맞이하여 교통약자(노인)의 보행 관련 교통사고 특성을 살펴보고 여수시를 사례로 횡단보도에서 노인의 보행실태와 보행횡단 요소를 분석하고자 한다. 2014년 기준 교통사고 자료에 의하면, 노인 교통사고는 전체 교통사고의 9.9%로 발생하고 있으나 노인사망자수는 전체의 40.3%를 차지하고 있고 노인 사망자수의 47.4%가 차대보행자 사고로 기인한다. 또한 전체 보행자 중 노인 보행자 발생은 18.7%이나 노인 보행자 사망자 비율은 49.3%에 해당하는 매우 높은 비중을 차지하고 노인보행자 치사율이 3.03명으로 전체보행자 치사율보다 3배정도 높게 나타난다. 교통약자(노인) 횡단 보행요소인 반응시간과 보행속도를 조사한 결과, 노인 신체능력 하위 15%-tile에 해당하는 반응시간은 4.56초와 보행속도는 초당 0.76m가 적절한 것으로 분석되었고 조사지점의 횡단보행 신호운영을 평가한 결과 보행안전성이 떨어지는 것으로 판단되어 개선된 보행신호 운영이 요구되었다.

본 연구는 노화의 일반적인 변화인 시력에 대해 우리나라 농촌의 노인인구들이 자각적인 변화정도와 그에 따르는 해결방안, 문제점을 분석하여 노령화되는 사회 특히 농촌의 노인들이 남은 여생을 질적으로 살아가는데 안경사들이 국가안보건사업에 일익을 담당하는데 기여하고자 함이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 조사자 236명중 부부 한쪽이 사별(78명 33.3%)하여 홀로사는 노인도 28명(11%)이였다. 2. 시력으로 일상생활에 장애가 있는 경우는 66%로 대다수의 노인들이 시력의 저하로 불편함을 겪고 있다. 3. 특히 시력장애가 있음에도 불구하고 안경 등 돋보기를 사용하지 않는 경우도 68명(28.8%)로 이들 대부분이 경제적인 이유로 불편함과 사고의 위험속에서 살고 있었다.

여성들은 성역할고정관념으로 인해 가사노동과 자녀양육, 의존적 가족구성원을 위한 보호노동의 전담자로 규정되어 있다. 그러나 여성들의 역할이 다중화되고, 인구의 노령화와 가족의 구조가 변화하면서 보호노동은 여성들에게 육체적, 심리적으로 부담 요소가 될 뿐 아니라 여성들의 사회활동을 가로막는 주요한 장애요인으로 작용하고 있다. 그런 맥락에서 특히 간병수발자의 복지를 위한 정책조치가 필요해 지고 있다. 현재 우리나라에서 간병과 관련된 조치로는 노인을 위한 방문서비스가 있다. 독일의 경우에는 간병보험이 시행되고 있어 요보호자뿐만 아니라 간병수발자를 위한 사회적 보상체계가 이루어져 있다. 본 논문은 간병수발자의 복지를 위한 정책발전방향을 모색해 보려는 시도이다. 그러한 연구목적에 따라 우리나라의 간병관련 정책을 살펴보고, 더불어 간병수발자를 위한 간병보험이 시행되고 있는 독일의 경우를 살펴봄으로써 이 제도가 우리에게 주는 복지 정책적 함의를 도출해 보았다.

Lower birth rate and higher elder people are serious social problem in Korea. In 2003, the total birth rate is 1.19 per person, that record is lowest among OECD country. In 2005, Korea has been the aging society with 9.0% in aged population rate. Increasing of aged population results in elder estrangement and confliction with other generations. The social problem can be solved in some degree by improving housing environment and many kinds of welfare program. This study suggests a solution of the problem by applying community space located on ground level floor. The ground level floor of apartment has many physical benefits like connection to the earth, extension, safeness for the aged and child. in case of the National Rental apartment, small residential area and high rate of elder, child, the disabled make the ground level floor useful space for community. According to case study, almost the National Rental apartment hasn't enough facilities supporting various generations and don't supply comfortable environment. So, this study presents how to design the National Rental Apartment's community space located on ground level floor.

Because of developing medical science, lengthening the average life span and so on, the population of the elderly goes on increasing. The population of the healthy and high-income old people are increasing, also. So this study aimed to grasp the facilities and program situation of the welfare hall for the elderly as a welfare-leisure institution. The elderly be going to a hall are anticipated too many, based on the number of the hall per local old people. The majority of the hall are organized similar spaces and progams in them. There are almost not different things among the welfare halls and the locations. So they should be set on the aged' higher requirements and the old man's need varying in different localities. Also, 'gyoungrodang' remodeled in facilities and programs near their houses is likely to be recommended as the nest best thing.

These days, the aging population is becoming a critical social issue; the activation of the silver industry for the Y-O generation, meaning the young-old group of aged 55-64, is accelerating now. Pants are very important item to this generation, since they pursue active life with an exercise and leisure activities. Therefore, the physical, psychological, and social characters as well as the changed life style of women in the Y-O generation were reviewed, based on former studies and books. The consumer's patterns and actual wearing conditions about slacks were researched and analyzed through the survey toward 300 women aged 55-65 living in Seoul. Based on this research, information was provided for the development of slacks pattern which is suitable to the deformed body and aesthetic consciousness of the Y-O generation.

The aging of population in Korea is proceeding in such a fast speed that other developed countries kaven't experienced. Korea already emerged in the aging society in 2000, and expected to become an aged society in 2019.There(ore, making effort to improve the quality of life of the aged people tv prolonging their social, economic activity, resulting in retrenchment of expenditure on health is very important. Developing nutrition and exercise programs to improve the quality of life of the elderly people, resulting in prolonged independent life is as important as medical care after onset of diseases. As a national preventive measure to save elderly people from becoming in need of assist, comprehensive program including teaching computer to prevent senile dementia, nutritional and exercise programs, along with programs of everyday life activity for the risk-group people should be carried out,

Recently, we can see worldwide the rapid increase in the population of the aged people, while that of young people is decreasing. Especially present Japan has a super-aged society, and it is a big social problem how to take effective measures to that in the future, Some items as well as researches have come out of various research them to the user. Such a change in population will be seen also in South Korea. Because South Korea has many social things in common with Japan, though they have different languages. Through this report, it is expected that it will be a good example for Japan PT to expand its activities and will connect to the future joint research of South Korea and Japan, by introducing it to South Korea.

본 연구는 고령화세대의 특성을 고려한 신변장식용품을 디자인연구와 발전 방안을 모색하여 신변장식용품산업을 활성화 시키고 고령화세대의 삶의 질 향상을 통한 정신적 복지개선을 위해 연구하였다. 정책보고서, 학회지, 단행본 등을 통하여 고령친화산업과 고령친화용품에 대해 조사한 결과 빠른 고령화진행, 베이비부머 세대의 고령화세대 편입, 삶의 질을 중시하는 라이프 스타일의 변화로 인하여 고령친화용품 관련 산업은 발전가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났지만, 정책적인 법제도, 표준화 제정 및 기준마련이 부족하였고, 관련 R&D투자가 취약하여 전문인력이 부족한 현실이었다. 하지만, 이를 역으로 이용하면 수요자가 확실한 시장에서 니치마켓이 형성될 수 있고 이를 위해 디자인 및 다양한 연구를 한다면 고령화세대뿐만 아니라 국가경제적인 차원에서도 발전가능성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

이 연구는 부산지역에 거주하는 노년층의 일상적 정보세계를 그리고자 한 조사연구이다. 자료는 연구대상의 생애사에 대한 기초적인 설문조사와 면담 및 사례 관찰을 통하여 수집하고 분석하였다. 구체적으로 이 연구에서는 부산지역 노년층의 일상속에서 정보와 관련된 기본적인 양상과 노년계층의 정보화를 저해하는 요인을 파악하여 분석하고 이를 정보화정책에 연계할 수 있는 모티브를 찾고자 하였다. 궁극적으로 이를 통하여 지역의 유관 기관을 중심으로 하는 공공 정보서비스의 확대방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 이 연구에서는 (1) 일상적 관심사의 유형과 대처 방식, (2) 정보화의 계기와 현재 정보화수준, (3)일상의 영위를 위해 필요로 하는 정보를 얻기 위하여 그들이 이용하는 매체의 유형과 특성 등의 범주를 다루었다.
