AgNWs/Ga-doped ZnO 복합전극 적용 CdSe양자점 기반 투명발광소자 (CdSe Quantum Dot based Transparent Light-emitting Device using Silver Nanowire/Ga-doped ZnO Composite Electrode)

  • The silver nanowires (AgNWs) were synthesized by the conventional polyol process, which revealed 25 ㎛ and 30 nm of average length and diameter, respectively. The synthesized AgNWs were applied to the CdSe/CdZnS quantum dot (QD) based transparent light-emitting device (LED). The device using a randomly networked AgNWs electrode had some problems such as the high threshold voltage (for operating the device) due to the random pores from the networked AgNWs. As a method of improvement, a composite electrode was formed by overlaying the ZnO:Ga on the AgNWs network. The device used the composite electrode revealed a low threshold voltage (4.4 Vth) and high current density compared to the AgNWs only electrode device. The brightness and current density of the device using composite electrode were 55.57 cd/㎡ and 41.54 mA/㎠ at the operating voltage of 12.8 V, respectively, while the brightness and current density of the device using (single) AgNWs only were 1.71 cd/㎡ and 2.05 mA/㎠ at the same operating voltage. The transmittance of the device revealed 65 % in a range of visible light. Besides the reliability of the devices was confirmed that the device using the composite electrode revealed 2 times longer lifetime than that of the AgNWs only electrode device.

사파장 백색 발광 다이오드의 발광 특성 (Luminescent Properties of Four-Band White Light Emitting Diodes)

  • 보라색 발광 다이오드에 의해 여기되어 청색, 녹색, 적색을 발광하는 형광체로 각각 $BaMg_2Al_16O_27:Eu,\SrGa_2S_4:Eu$, ZnCdS:Ag,Cl 형광체를 선택하였다. 보라색 발광 다이오드의 발광에서 형광체에 의해서 완전히 흡수되지 않고 나오는 보라색 발광과 $BaMg_2Al_16O_27:Eu,\SrGa_2S_4:Eu$, ZnCdS:Ag,Cl 형광체에서 나오는 청색, 녹색, 적색 발광을 조합하여 사파장 백색 발광 다이오드를 만들었다. 사파장 백색 발광 다이오드의 발광 특성을 확인하였다.

다공질규소에 전착된 CdTe 화합물 박막의 특성과 효과 (The properties and effects of the electrodeposited CdTe compound film on the porous silicon)

  • 나노 구조를 갖는 다공질 규소의 표면과 투명하고 전도성을 갖는 접촉방법을 얻기 위해 다공질 규소 표면에 CdTe 화합물 박막을 전착시키는 방법을 시도하였다. CdTe 화합물 박막은 1 M의 $CdSO_4$와 1mM의 $TeO_4$가 혼합된 전해액 속에서 전착 전위 2-2.3V(vs. Ag/AgCl)로 다공질규소의 표면에 전착시켰다. X선 회절 측정결과 다공질규소 표면에 CdTe 화합물 박막이 생성되었음이 확인되었고, AES 분석결과 표면에서 약 80nm 깊이까지 Cd 및 Te 원소가 균일하게 존재하였다. 그리고 CdTe 화합물 박막이 전착된 다공질규소의 PL 특성은 발광의 세기는 약간 검소하였고 최대파장값은 고에너지 쪽으로 이동하였다. 이 결과로 보아 CdTe 전착 박막이 나노 구조를 갖는 다공질규소와 투명하고 전도성을 갖는 접촉물질로 이용될 수 있음이 밝혀졌다.

  • 음극 전착법에 의해서 $CdSe_xTe_{1-x}$ 박막을 제작하고 그 결정구조를 조사하였다. 전착 전위 -0.45V vs.Ag/AgCl 근처에서 몰비 x값에 관계없이 일정한 한계전류가 나타났으며, 생성박막은 몰비 $x=0{\sim}0.8$ 범위에서 cubic zinc-blonde 구조이었으며 x=1에서 hexagonal wurtzite 구조이었다.

옥계 함금석영맥광상 주변모암에서의 원소들의 일차분산 (Primary Dispersion of Elements in Altered Wallrocks around the Gold-bearing Quartz Veins at the Okgye Mine)

  • Geochemical studies on gold-bearing quartz veins and wallrocks from the Okgye mine were carried out in order to investigate the primary dispersion patterns of gold and associated elements and to quantify the dispersion width of elements with distance from the gold-bearing quartz veins. Gold-bearing quartz veins occur in basaltic trachyandesite of unknown age. Enrichment of $k_2O$, MnO, Au, As, Rb, Sb, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ag and Cd, and depletion of $Na_2O$ and Sr are found in altered wallrocks. The ratio of $k_2O(k_2O+Na_2O)$, alteration index for trace elements, and Rb/Sr in altered wallrocks are increased, whereas Sr/CaO ratio is decreased with approach to the gold-bearing quartz veins. The widths of primary dispersion range from 17 cm to 155 cm. The relative dispersion width increases in order Au=Cu=Zn=Ag=Cd$k_2O$=Rb and Ba< $Na_2O$ $Na_2O$, As, Sb, Sr, Pb, Au, Cu, Zn, Ag and Cd, and a quadratic function for $k_2O$, MnO, Rb and Ba.

Ag-CdO계 전기접점재료의 미세조직에 미치는 열처리 조건과 산화 공정의 영향 (The Effect of The Heat Treatment Condition and the Oxidation Process on the Microstructure of Ag-CdO Contact Materials)

  • Contact material is widely used in the field of electrical parts. Ag-CdO material has a good wear resistance and stable contact resistance. In order to establish optimizing heat treatment condition, rolling temperature and oxidation process, we studied the microstructure of Ag-CdO material with various conditions. The experimental procedure were melting using high frequency induction, heat treatment, rolling and internal oxidation. And we experimented on difference process, Post-oxidaion. In this study, we obtained the optimizing heat treatment condition was $700^{\circ}C$ for 15 min. and the optimizing rolling temperature was $730^{\circ}C$. In investigation of the microstructure of oxidized material, coarse oxide and depleted oxidation layer existed. The hardness was average Hv 70. When we used Post-oxidation, oxides were finer than prior process and depleted oxidation layer did not exist. The hardness of Post-oxidation material was average Hv 80. And the optimizing rolling temperature was $800^{\circ}C$.

Crac-free 나노기공 gold 박막 및 복합박막 제조

  • Au-Ag 합금 박막에서 화학적으로 덜 안정한 Ag를 선택적으로 에칭하는 dealloying 기법을 통하여 crack-free 나노기공 gold 박막을 Si 기판에 제조하였다. Au-Ag 합금 박막은 두 가지 방법을 이용하였다: 1) thermal 또는 electron beam 증착법을 이용하여 Au 와 Ag 다층 박막을 Si 기판에 증착시킨 후 열처리를 통한 합금 박막제조; 2) co-thermal 증착법을 이용하여 Au-Ag 합금박막을 Si 기판에 직접 증착. Crack-free 나노기공 gold 박막 제조에 적합한 합금조성을 얻기 위하여 증착 속도, 열처리조건, dealloying 조건등을 조절하였다. Perchloric acid, HClO4 전해질을 이용한 전기화학적 dealloying을 통하여 crack-free 나노기공 gold 박막을 제조하였고, 기공크기를 조절할 수 있었다. 이에 더하여, electrophoretic 방법을 이용하여 나노기공 gold와 semiconductive 양자점 (CdTe 또는 CdSe)의 나노복합박막을 형성시킨 후 특성을 분석하였다.

급속응고한 Ag-Sn-In 합금의 미세조직에 미치는 Misch Metal의 영향 (The Effect of Misch Metal on the Microstructure of Rapidly solidified Ag-Sn-In Alloys)

  • Because of a good wear resistance and a stable contact resistance, Ag-CdO is widely used as electrical contact material. But, the Cd-oxide mainly exists as a coarse particle and adversely affected to environment. As a reason, $Ag-SnO_2$ alloy has been developed. The Sn-oxide maintains stable and fine particle even at high temperature. In order to investigate the effect of Misch metal (Mm) additional that affects the formation of the oxide and the formation of fine matrix Ag, we studied the microstructures and properties of Ag-Sn-In(-Mm) material fabricated by rapid solidification process. The experimental procedure were melting using high frequency induction, melt spinning, and internal oxidation. The Mm addition makes Ag matrix more fine than no Mm addition. The reason is that the addition of Misch metal decreased a latent heat of fusion of alloy, as a result the rapid solidification effect of alloy is increased. The maximum hardness shows at 0.3 wt%Mm. after that the hardness is decreased until 0.4 wt% Mm, but still larger than no Mm addition alloy. At 0.5 wt% Mm alloy, the precipitation of Misch metal causes a decrease of hardness than no Mm addition alloy.

Study of metal dopants and/or Ag nanoparticles incorporated direct-patternable ZnO film by photochemical solution deposition

  • Zinc oxide (ZnO) has drawn much interest as a potential transparent conducting oxide (TCO) for applying to solar cell and front electrode of electro-luminescent devices. For the enhancement of electrical property of TCOs, dopant introduction and hybridization with conductive nanoparticles have been investigated. In this work, ZnO films were formed on glass substrate by using photochemical solution deposition of Ag nanoparticles dispersed or various metal (Ag, Cd, In, or Sn) contained photosensitive ZnO solutions. The usage of photosensitive solution permits us to obtain a micron-sized direct patterning of ZnO film without using conventional dry etching procedure. The structural, optical, and electrical characteristics of ZnO films with the introduction of metal dopants with/without Ag nanoparticles have been investigated to check whether there is a combined effect between metal dopants and Ag nanoparticles on the characteristics of ZnO film. The phase formation and crystallinity of ZnO film were monitored with X-ray diffractometer. The optical transmittance measurement was carried out using UV-VIS-NIR spectrometer and the electrical properties such as sheet resistance and conductivity were observed by using four-point probe.

통가열도 TA26 해저산의 모암변질과 원소분산 (Element Dispersion and Wallrock Alteration of TA26 Seamount, Tonga Arc)

  • 통가열도의 남단에 위치하는 TA26 해저산은 열수활동이 가장 활발한 것으로 알려진 해저산으로 열수플룸이 광범위하게 존재하며 열수광석 및 열수변질암이 채취된 지역이다. 이 지역에서 채취한 암석들은 현무암내지 현무암질 안산암이다. 열수용액에 의한 변질암석시료에서는 사장석, 휘석류, 황철석, 티탄철석, 비결정질 살리카, 중정석, 녹점토, iron sulfates, Fe-Si sulfates 및 Fe silicates 등이 산출된다. 모암변질시 열수작용에 의한 변질 암석의 주원소, 미량원소 및 희토류원소 이득 및 손실을 계산하면, $K_2O$(+0.04~+0.45 g), $SiO_2$(-6.52~+10.56 g), $H_2O$(-0.03~+6.04 g), $SO_4$(-0.46~+17.54 g), S(-0.46~+13.45 g) 및 총 S(-0.51~+16.93 g)들이 모암변질시 이득되었다. 또한 미량원소들 중 특히 Ba(-7.60~+185078.62 g), Sr(-36.18~+3033.08 g), Ag(+54.83 g), Au(+1467.49 g), As(-5.80~+1030.80 g), Cd(+249.78 g), Cu(-100.57~+1357.85 g), Pb(+4.91~+532.65 g), Sb(-0.32~+66.59 g), V(-113.58~+102.94 g), 및 Zn(-49.56~+14989.92 g)들이 모암변질시 이득되었다. 따라서 이득된 주원소 및 미량원소의 종류 및 함량($K_2O$, $H_2O$, $SO_4$, S, 총 S, Ba, Sr, Ag, Au, As, Cd, Cu, Pb, Sb, V, Zn) 등을 지시원소로서 활용하면 통가열도 심해저 열수광상 탐사시 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
