Ferroelectric samples of the 0.65Pb$(Mg_{1/3}Ta_{2/3})O_3-0.35PbTiO_3$ modified with $Ag_2O$ were prepared by sintering at $1200^{\circ}C$ for 4 h. The fractured surface of sintered pellets were examined by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The dielectric constant, loss, and pyroelectric coefficient of the ceramics samples were determined. The dielectric and pyroelectric properties could be improved with the addition of small amount of $Ag_2O$ up to 0.2 mol%. The dielectric and pyroelectirc peak temperatures are continuously shifted to lower temperature with addition of small amounts of $Ag_2O$.

Bi-2223 HTS tapes are used widely for application of superconducting power systems. However there are need the properties of high strength and low AC loss. Two kinds of Bi-2223 HTS tapes with different Ag sheath were used to know the effect of sheath alloying for the strength and the resistivity. The workability and reaction degree of superconducting phase at Bi-2223 HTS tapes were investigated. We designed conventional type-Ag/alloy and double sheathed mono filament type-Ag/alloy/alloy in order to increase the strength and resistivity of matrix in Bi-2223 HTS tapes. The effect of axial strain and thermal cycling on the critical current was investigated for the Bi-2223 HTS tapes. Because the workability of double sheath Bi-2223 HTS tape was lower than one sheath Bi-2223 HTS tape, it was need additional softening treatment. Bi-2223 formation reaction was decreased by Ag alloy matrix during sintering process. Two kinds of Bi-2223/Ag tapes with different Ag sheath were used to know the effect of sheath alloying for the tensile strain. Critical current is drastically decreased for Ag/alloy and Ag/alloy/alloy sheathed tapes at tensile strain above 0.24 % and 0.34 %, respectively. This result showed that mechanical strength was increased over than 40 % by introduce double sheath at mono filament stage.

In this study, in order to develop low temperature sintering ceramics for multilayer piezoelectric actuator, $0.07Pb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-xPb(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-(0.93-x)Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3$ ceramics system were fabricated using $Li_2CO_3-Bi_2O_3-CuO$ sintering aids and the specimens were sintered at $930^{\circ}C$. Thereafter, their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated according to the amount of PNN substitution. At 9 mol% PNN substitution, density, electromechanical coupling factor ($k_p$), dielectric constant, mechanical quality factor ($Q_m$) and piezoelectric constant ($d_{33}$) showed the optimum value of $7.86g/cm^3$, 0.60, 1640, 1323 and 387 pC/N, respectively. It is considered that these values are suitable for piezoelectric divece application such ad multilayer piezoelectric actuator and ultrasonic vibrator with pure Ag internal electrode.
Dolomite type $BaSn(BO_3)_2$ ceramics with rhombohedral crystal structure has been synthesized via solid state reaction route. Dielectric properties were measured for the samples sintered at $1050\~1200^{\circ}C$ for 2 h in air. Dielectric constant, loss tangent, and temperature coefficient were increased with sintering temperature due to the evolution of $BaSnO_3$, secondary, phase. Optimum dielectric properties were obtained at the $BaSn(BO_3)_2$ ceramics sintered at $1100^{\circ}C.\;CuO/Bi_2O_3$ was added to $BaSn(BO_3)_2$ ceramics to lower the sintering temperature for LTCC application, then Co and Fe-based coloring agents were added for colorizing the LTCC tape. Typical dielectric properties of $BaSn(BO_3)_2$ ceramics with $5 wt\%\;CuO/Bi_2O_3\;and\;3wt\%$ Co-coloring agent that sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ were $\varepsilon_r=9.89,\;tan{\delta}=0.92\times10^{-3},\;and\;TCC=112ppm/^{\circ}C$. Thus obtained LTCC tape was co-fired with Ag paste for compatibility test and revealed no sign of Ag reaction with the ceramics.

PURPOSE. To assess the marginal and internal gaps of the copings fabricated by computer-aided milling and direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) systems in comparison to casting method. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Ten metal copings were fabricated by casting, computer-aided milling, and DMLS. Seven mesiodistal and labiolingual positions were then measured, and each of these were divided into the categories; marginal gap (MG), cervical gap (CG), axial wall at internal gap (AG), and incisal edge at internal gap (IG). Evaluation was performed by a silicone replica technique. A digital microscope was used for measurement of silicone layer. Statistical analyses included one-way and repeated measure ANOVA to test the difference between the fabrication methods and categories of measured points (${\alpha}$=.05), respectively. RESULTS. The mean gap differed significantly with fabrication methods (P<.001). Casting produced the narrowest gap in each of the four measured positions, whereas CG, AG, and IG proved narrower in computer-aided milling than in DMLS. Thus, with the exception of MG, all positions exhibited a significant difference between computer-aided milling and DMLS (P<.05). CONCLUSION. Although the gap was found to vary with fabrication methods, the marginal and internal gaps of the copings fabricated by computer-aided milling and DMLS fell within the range of clinical acceptance (< $120{\mu}m$). However, the statistically significant difference to conventional casting indicates that the gaps in computer-aided milling and DMLS fabricated restorations still need to be further reduced.
The purpose of this study Is to investigate the effect of $V_2$O$_{5}$ addition on the microstructures and magnetic properties of 7.7${\times}$4.5${\times}$1.0 mm sized multi-layer chip inductors prepared by the screen printing method using 0∼0.5 wt% $V_2O_{5}$-doped NiCuZn ferrite pastes. With increasing the $V_2O_{5}$ content, the exaggerated grain growth of ferrite layers was developed due to the promotion of Ag diffusion and Cu segregation into the grain boundaries oi ferrites, which affected significantly the magnetic properties of the chip inductors. After sintering at $900^{\circ}C$, the inductance at 10 MHZ of the 0.5 wt% $V_2O_{5}$-doped chip inductor was 3.7 ${\mu}$H less than 4.2 ${\mu}$H of the 0.3 wt% $V_2O_{5}$-doped one, which was thought to be caused by the residual stress at the ferrite layers increased with the promotion of Ag diffusion and Cu segregation. The quality factor of the 0.5 wt% $V_2O_{5}$-doped chip inductor decreased with increasing the sintering temperature, which was considered to be caused by the electrical resistivity of the ferrite layer decreased with the promotion of Ag/cu segregation at the grain boundaries and the growth of the mean grain size of ferrite due to exaggerated grain growth of ferrite layers.
Effects of $Ag_2O$ doping on the electromagnetic properties in the BiSrCaCuO superconductor. The electromagnetic properties of doped and undoped $Ag_2O$ in the BiSrCaCuO superconductor were evaluated to investigate the contribution of the pinning centers. It was confirmed experimentally that a larger amount of magnetic flux was trapped in the $Ag_2O$ doped sample than in the undoped one, indicating that the pinning centers of magnetic flux are related closely to the occurrence of the magnetic effect. We have fabricated superconductor ceramics by the chemical process. A high Tc superconductor with a nominal composition of $Bi_2Sr_2Ca_2Cu_3O_y$ was prepared by the organic metal salts method. Experimental results suggest that the intermediate phase formed before the formation of the superconductor phase may be the most important factor. The relation between electromagnetic properties of Bi HTS and the external applied magnetic field was studied. The electrical resistance of the superconductor was increased by the application of the external magnetic field. But the increase in the electrical resistance continues even after the removal of the magnetic field. The reason is as follows; the magnetic flux due to the external magnetic field penetrates through the superconductor and the penetrated magnetic flux is trapped after the removal of the magnetic flux. During the sintering, doped $Ag_2O$ was converted to Ag particles that were finely dispersed in superconductor samples. It is considered that the area where normal conduction takes place increases by adding $Ag_2O$ and the magnetic flux penetrating through the sample increases. The results suggested that $Ag_2O$ acts to amplify pinning centers of magnetic flux, contributing to the occurrence of the electromagnetic properties.

In this study, $0.95(K_{0.5}Na_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05Li(Sb_{0.8}Nb_{0.2})O_3$ ceramics were investigated as a function of the amount of $Ag_2O$ addition in order to improve dielectric and piezoelectric properties of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics. With increasing the amount of $Ag_2O$ addition, density and electromechanical coupling factor ($k_p$) increased up to 0.2 wt.% $Ag_2O$ and decreased above 0.2 wt.% $Ag_2O$. At the sintering temperature of $1020^{\circ}C$, electromechanical coupling factor ($k_p$), density, dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}r$) and curie temperature (Tc) of ceramics with 0.2 wt% $Ag_2O$ showed the optimal values of 0.42, $4.33\;g/cm^3$, 738 and $393^{\circ}C$, respectively.
Crystlline silicon solar cells markets are increasing at rapid pace. now, crystlline silicon solar cells markets screen-printing solar cell is occupying. screen-printing solar cells manufacturing process are very quick, there is a strong point which is a low cost. but silicon and metal contact, uses Ag & Al pates. because of, high contact resistance, high series resistance and sintering inside process the electric conductivity decreases with 1/3. and In pastes ingredients uses Ag where $80{\sim}90%$ is metal of high cost. because of low cost solar cells descriptions is difficult. therefore BCSC(Buried Contact Solar Cell) is developed. and uses light-induced plating, ln-line galvanization developed equipments. Ni/Cu matel contact solar cells researches. in Germany Fraunhofer ISE. In order to manufacture high-efficiency solar cells, metal selections are important. metal materials get in metal resistance does small, to be electric conductivity does highly. efficiency must raise an increase with rise of the curve factor where the contact resistance of the silicon substrate and is caused by few with decrement of series resistance. Ni metal materials the price is cheap, Ti comes similar resistance. Cu and Ag has the electric conductivity which is similar. and Cu price is cheap. In this paper, Ni/Cu/Ag metal contact cell with screen printing manufactured, silicon metal contact comparison and analysis.
Long-lasting brightness $Sr_{4}Al_{14}O_{25}$ : $Eu^{2+}$, $Dy^{3+}$, $Ag^{+}$ phosphor was synthesized by modified solid state reaction and its photoluminescence was investigated. $Sr(NO_3)_{2}$ and $Al(NO_3)_3{\cdot}9H_{2}O$ as starting materials, and $B_{2}O_{3}$ as a flux were mixed with $Eu_{2}O_{3}$ as an activator, $Dy_{2}O_{3}$ as a coactivator, and $AgNO_{3}$ as a charge compensator. The crystalline of target powder showed a single-phase $Sr_{4}Al_{14}O_{25}$ by the XRD characterization and the average particle size was about 20-30 ${\mu}m$ from the FE-SEM observation. $Ag^{+}$ ion doping effects (0-0.06 mol) on $Sr_{4}Al_{14}O_{25}:Eu^{2+},\;Dy^{3+},\;Ag^{+}$ phosphor were measured by photoluminescence spectrometer and luminescence meter. The of photoluminescence intensity of the $Sr_{3.64}Al_{14}O_{25}:Eu_{0.11},\;Dy_{0.22},\;Ag_{0.03}$ phosphor was higher than other compositions and afterglow brightness was 0.186 $cd/m^{2}$.
