Hybrid Transparent Conductor by using Solution-Processed AgNWs for High-Performing Si Photodetectors

  • A hybrid transparent conducting layer was applied for Si photodetector. To realize the hybrid transparent conducting layer, a 200 nm-thick ITO layer was deposited onto a Si substrate, following by a solution-processed AgNWs-coating on the ITO. The hybrid transparent conducting layer showed an excellent low electric resistance of $15.9{\Box}/{\Omega}$ with a high optical transparency of 86.89%. Due to these optical and electrical benefits, the hybrid transparent conductor-embedding Si diode provides an extremely high rectifying ratio of 3386. Under light-illumination, the hybrid transparent conductor device provides extremely high photoresponses for broad wavelengths. This implies that a functional design for hybrid transparent conductor is crucial for photoelectric devices and applications.

  • AgI(80 mol%)를 기질로 하여 AgBr 15 mol% + CuI 5mol%, AgBr 10 mol% + CuI 10mol%, AgBr 5 mol% + CuI 5mol%의 계를 제조하여 이들의 이온 전도성을 상온에서 200$^{\circ}C$까지 임피던스분석기(impedance analyzer)를 이용하여 측정한다. 이 온도영역에서 활성화에너지는 0.6∼0.7 eV를 얻을 수 있었으며, 5 mol% AgBr계의 이온 전도성이 가장 컸으며 활성화에너지는 가장 작음을 보였다.

  • Normal zone propagation(NZP) characteristics were investigated on Ag sheathed Bi-2223 tape and cylindrical stacked conductor. Normal zone propagation(N2P) experiments with tape were conducted with refrigerator in temperature from 45 K to 77 K, 0 T. Cylindrical stacked conductor was molding with epoxy and experiments were conducted with adiabatic condition in $LN_2$. NZP velocities of tape with two condition of DC and AC were almost same at each temperature. NZP velocities of cylindrical stacked conductor were 1.9-2.4 cdsec in $LN_2$. Numerical analysis was carried out by a one-dimensional heat balance equation. As a result, simulated results of NZP velocity with Bi-2223 tape were similar to experimental results in DC.

Coated Conductor의 특성 및 미세조직에 미치는 고온열처리 영향 (Effects of High Temperature Heat Treatment on the Microstructure and Superconducting Property of HTS Coated Conductor)

  • 고온초전도 CC를 다른 산소 분압에서 Ag과 YBCO의 녹는점 보다 낮은 온도에서 열처리시 CC의 특성에 미치는 영향을 실험하였다. 전류의 수송능력과 미세구조는 보호층인 Ag의 존재여부에 다양하게 영향을 미친다. Ag를 제거한 CC를 $850^{\circ}C$의 산소 분위기에서 2시간 동안 열처리 한 시편의 경우 CC의 임계전류의 특성에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 그러나 Ag를 제거하지 않은 CC를 $800^{\circ}C$의 산소 분위기에서 2시간 동안 열처리한 시편의 경우 임계전류가 140 A에서 8 A로 떨어지는 결과를 보였다. 또한, Ag을 제거하지 않은 CC를 1000 ppm 산소 분위기의 $800^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 동안 열처리한 시편의 경우 임계전류 값이 원래 $I_c$ 값의 $70{\sim}80%$의 임계전류 값이 나타났다. SEM 이미지와 XRD 회절 분석 결과 Ni과 Cr 원자들이 표면으로 확산되어 CC의 전류수송 특성에 영향을 미친다.

초이온도전체 ${\beta}-Ag_3SI$의 단결정 육성과 결정구조 해석 (Single crystal growth and structure analysis of superionic conductor ${\beta}-Ag_3SI$)

  • 초이온도전체 ${\beta}-Ag_3SI$ 단결정을 AgI와 $AG_2S$의 혼합물을 반응시켜서 열처리하여 얻었다. 성장시킨 단결정은 직경 $200{mu}m$ 정도의 구상으로 성형시켰다. 실온에서 X-선 단결정 해석법을 이용하여 정밀한 결정구조 해석을 행했다. 이들 결정구조의 해석결과 ${\beta}-Ag_3SI$$Ag^+$는 6-배위의 3c자리보다 4-배위의 12h자리에 점유함이 밝혀졌다. $Ag^+$의 확률밀도분포(probabilty density function)로 부터 [110]방향에서 $Ag^+$의 one-particle potential(o.p.p.)을 계산하였다.${beta}-Ag_3SI$ 구조의(001)면에서 $Ag^+$가 확산에 필요한 활성화에너지는 0.012eV라는 것이 o.p.p.곡선에 의해 계산되었다.

  • In this study, we estimate the transport current loss of Bi-2223/Ag tapes with non-uniform current distribution. The conductor was consisted of three Bi-2223/Ag tapes and the each tapes were attached in parallel. The loss of conductor was investigated both numerical and experimental methods. The numerical code to predict ac loss was developed, and finite element method was introduced. It contained intrinsic properties of superconducting tape, which was obtained from nonlinear current voltage relation with external magnetic field and its orientation. Two results were compared and discussed. They showed good agreements with each other.

Coated Conductor 에서의 복제방법의 가능성 (Feasibility of the replication method for coated conductors)

  • We propose a replication method to solve the problem of large percent failure in texturing processes of coated conductors. This problem is due to the individual texturing process for each coated conductor that is very long tape having no single defect spot. We tested two different methods of replication process that are based on a well-textured Ni template. First method has structure of Ni/BaO/STO/$CeO_2$/SmBCO/Ag. So BaO layer is dissolved in water that we can separate STO/$CeO_2$/SmBCO/Ag layers. In this processing, the property of STO is conserved but the superconductivity of SmBCO is deteriorated. So we can consider another method. Second method has structure of template(STO)/BaO/STO/Pt/STO. After dissolving BaO then we deposited YBCO. The result of these experiments showed the feasibility of replication.

  • 2G HTS coated conductor wire consists of textured substrate, buffer layer, superconduct layer, Ag cap layer, stabilizer. For practical application filed, coated conductor have mechanical and electrical stability and environment protection properties. This property Cu and stainless steel strip is laminated to Ag cap layer as stabilizer materials. Lamination process join stabilizer material strip and Ag cap layer with soldering method. we have laminated HTS with continuous dipping soldering process different stabilizer Cu and stainless steel strip and changed lamination process condition. The effect of lamination stabilizer and process condition has been investigated mechanical and electrical properties.

  • For the fabrication of HTS power cable, multifilamentary Bi-2223/Ag tapes have been prepared using the powder-in-tube (PIT) process. After final heat treatment, these tapes have $I_{c}$ value of 43A, and$ J_{c}$ value of $28,000A/\textrm{cm}^2$(77K, 0T). Prototype 1000A class multistrand conductor(length~1m) was fabricated using these tapes(length~300m). This multistrand conductor was impregnated with low-temperature epoxy. The transportation properties of prototype 1000A class multistrand conductor has been evaluated at 77K, and yielding a current capacity up to 1200A.A.A.

{110}<110> 집합조직을 가지는 YBCO 박막 선재용 Ag Substrate 개발 (Development of {110}<110> Textured Ag Substrate for YBCO Coated Conductors)

  • We fabricated textured Ag substrates for YBCO coated conductor and evaluated the effects of annealing temperature on microstructural evolution, texture formation, and surface morphology. Ag ingot, as an initial specimen, was prepared by plasma arc melting(PAM). Subsequently, the ingot was cold rolled to 100 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ thick tape and annealed at temperatures of 600-80$0^{\circ}C$. The texture and surface morphology of the substrate were characterized by pole-figure and atomic force microscopy(AFM) profile, respectively. It was observed that a strong {110}<110> texture was formed after annealing and its symmetry improved as annealing temperature increased. The full-width at half-maximum(FWHM) of {110}<110> pole was as sharp as 10$^{\circ}$ for the substrate annealed at 80$0^{\circ}C$. On the other hand, it was found that the thermal grooving and faceting became remarkable as annealing temperature increased : root-mean-square(RMS) roughness of the substrate annealed at 80$0^{\circ}C$ was 39.2 nm. The substrate of strong texture and smooth surface, fabricated in our study, is considered to be suitable for use as a substrate for the epitaxial deposition of superconductor film.
