과학 실험 수업에서 MBL의 적용이 초등학생의 학업 성취도 및 과학 관련 정의적 특성에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of MBL Programs on Academic Achievement and Science-Related Affective Characteristics of Elementary School Students in Laboratory Instructions)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop MBL(Microcomputer Based Laboratory) programs for sixth-grade elementary students in science laboratory instructions and to ascertain the effects of this program on academic achievement and science-related affective characteristics. In laboratory instructions, using the MBL was found to be effective in improving academic achievement for elementary students, especially in the domain of knowledge. In addition, it helped students to improve science-related affective characteristics. The experimental group showed higher levels, especially in the domains of cognition and interest. When our findings were analyzed in detail, the sub-domains that showed positive effects included 'cognition of science' in the domain of cognition, and interest toward science', 'interest toward science learning', 'interest toward science related activities', and 'anxiety for science' in the domain of interest. Male students exhibited improvement in the domain of cognition while female students showed improvement in the domain of interest. In conclusion, utilizing MBL programs as an experimental measurement in the real field of elementary science education can be said to be both positive and desirable.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the learner's variables affecting on scientific thinking and scientific process skills. To study this purpose, through the procedure study, the learner's variables were divided into cognitive variable, ego variable, and affective variable, then the questionaire survey through the reconstruction of standardization instrument was made over 120 elementary school fifth grade student in Seoul, Anyang, and Pajoo. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The learner's variables affecting on scientific thinking were cognitive variable and for female students, also affect affective variable. The subordinated catagories of statistically significant degree of explanation were achievement motivation, cognitive level, and cognitive style and another statistically significant correlation were meta-cognition, self regulated learning, self efficacy, and muliple intelligence. 2) The learner's variables affecting on science process skills were cognitive variable and affective variable. And the subordinated catagories of statistically significant degree of explanation were achievement motivation, and cognitive level. And another statistically significant correlation were meta-cognition, self regulated loaming, self efficacy, multiple intelligence, and attribution.

과학 동아리 활동이 학생의 과학과 관련된 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Students' Science Club Activities on Science - Related Attitude)

  • This thesis aims to know about the effect science club activities have on the students' science-related attitude. The subjects are 551 high-school students who consists of the students who participate in science club activities and students who don't participate in science club activities. The questionnaires include the questions about cognition of science, interests toward science, and scientific attitudes which belong to the affective domain of Science. The answers are analyzed using by SPSS 11.5 program. This survey shows that whether or not students participate in science club activities affects the cognition of science, the interests toward science, and the scientific attitudes. In other words, science club activities affirmatively enhance the cognition of science, cultivate the thinking power about science, enlarge problem-solving ability by knowing how to survey natural phenomenon, increase the insight into science and help to cope with technological changes. Therefore, since science club activities affect the cognition of science, the interest toward science, and the scientific attitudes in the affective domain of Science, much consideration and concern should be given to science club activities so that students can cherish science club activities and deal with club activities with more attention.

국가수준의 과학에 관련된 정의적 특성의 평가체제 개발 (National Assessment System Development of Science-Related Affective Domain)

  • 학생들의 과학적 소양을 기르는데에는 과학과 관련된 정의적 특성이 중요한 역할을 한다. 과학적 태도, 자연과 과학에 대한 가치, 호기심과 관심 등의 과학과 관련된 정의적 특성이 대부분의 과학교육 목표에 포함되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 과학과 관련된 정의적 특성의 평가체제와 문항을 개발하였다. 인식, 흥미와 과학적 태도의 세 개의 주범주와 16 개의 소범주로 평가체재가 구성되었다. 평가체제의 타당도는 10 명의 과학교육학자들에 의하여 검증되었다. 48 개의 평가 문항을 문항반응분석과 문항-검사 상관계수를 고려하여 총 64 문항 중에서 선정하였다. 크론바하 알파계수는 인식과 흥미에서 0.83 이고, 과학적 태도에서는 0.86 이었다. 검사의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과학과 관련된 정의적 특성에서 남학생이 여학생보다 더 높은 점수를 나타내었다. 둘째, 초등학생이 중등학생보다 더 높은 과학과 관련된 특성 점수를 나타내었다. 마지막으로 도시지역의 학생이 시골지역의 학생보다 더 높은 과학과 관련된 특성 점수를 보여 주었다.

수학 문제해결에서 메타정의의 기능 (The Function of Meta-affect in Mathematical Problem Solving)

  • 수학 문제해결에서의 메타정의에 대한 연구 관심은 인지-메타인지의 구조에 착안하여 정의적 요소 간에 유사한 구조 설정의 시도로부터 출발하였으나 메타인지에 대한 연구와 비교할 때 아직 연구의 명료성이나 통일성 또는 체계성 면에서 개선이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 수학 문제해결 과정에 작용하는 일련의 인지적, 정의적 요소의 연쇄 유형 중에 정의적 요소를 포함하는 경우로써 '메타정의'의 개념을 규정하여 수학 문제해결 과정에 나타날 수 있는 실제적인 메타정의의 각 경우를 논리적으로 유형화하였다. 이를 준거로 초등학생의 실제 수학 문제해결 과정에서 메타정의의 각 유형에 해당하는 실제 예를 관찰, 분석하였다. 이를 통해서 수학문제해결 과정에서 메타정의의 작동 메커니즘, 즉 메타정의의 각 유형별로 구체적 작동 원리와 특히 문제해결 과정에 생산적으로 작동하는 메타적 기능의 특성을 추출하였다. 이는 문제해결에서의 메타정의 분석 방법론의 효율성 제고와 수학 문제해결 교수-학습에서의 메타정의가 함의하는 교육적 시사점 제공이란 면에서 기여한다.

청년기·노년기 성인의 신체활동 참여가 정서인지에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Participation of Physical Activity in Adolescence and Senescence Adults on Affective Cognition)

  • 신체활동은 노화로 의한 인지기능 저하에 긍정적 영향을 미친다. 하지만 신체활동 참여가 정서인지기능에 미치는 영향을 과학적으로 밝혀 낸 연구는 드물다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 청년기와 노년기 성인의 정서인지 기능에 신체활동 참여가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 뇌 과학적으로 연구하는 것이다. 연구의 피험자는 D 광역시 성인 남성 60명으로 선정하였으며, 청년 운동 집단(25~35살), 청년 비 운동 집단(26~35살), 노년 운동 집단(60~70살), 노년 비 운동집단(60~70살) 4개의 집단으로 구성하였다. 실험도구는 EEG 측정 장비와 국제정서사진체계(International Affective Picture System: IAPS)를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 실험과제는 사진으로 제시하는 세 가지 정서자극(긍정적, 중립, 부정적)에 적합한 버튼을 눌러 정서적인지 검사를 실시하였다. EEG 측정은 8개(Fp1, Fp2, Fz, C3, C4, Cz, T3, T4)의 영역을 측정하였다. 통계처리는 4(집단)${\times}$3(자극)${\times}$8(영역)에 대한 삼원분산분석을 실시하였다. 결과: 본 연구 결과, 반응시간과 반응정확률 그리고 P3 잠재기는 집단간 주효과가 나타났다. 그리고 P3 진폭은 집단과 자극간 상호작용이 나타났다. 결론: 신체활동은 청년층과 노년층의 정서적 인지기능에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This research investigates the interaction effects of factors, namely, advertiser awareness, advertisement appeal, and customer involvement and need for cognition, selected from the parties involved in public service advertisement. Manipulating the participant's involvement, attitude toward the advertisement and the advertiser and intention to donate according to 2 (awareness) X 2 (cognitive/affective appeal) factors were surveyed. In result, participants with high involvement were relatively less affected by advertiser awareness. Also, high need for cognition indicated less effect of advertiser awareness on intention to donate. Moreover, when cognitive appeal is used, advertiser awareness affected less on consumers' attitude toward the advertisement and the advertiser and intention to donate. Further issues on changing customers' attitudes and behaviors are discussed.

VMD 적합성이 소비자의 감정적, 인지적, 행동적 반응에 미치는 영향 - 감정.인지이론과 인지.감정이론에 근거한 모델 검증 - (The Effect of VMD Image Appropriateness on Consumers' Affective, Cognitive, and Conative Responses - Testing Models based on the Emotion-Cognition Theory and the Cognitive Theory of Emotions -)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of VMD image appropriateness in apparel shopping contexts. Two competing models are utilized. The first model is developed from the emotion-cognition theory which explains that environmental cues(i.e., VMD image appropriateness) generate consumers' emotion, and in turn, consumers' behaviors. The second model is developed based on the cognitive theory of emotions and posits that environmental cues stimulates consumers' cognitive perceptions of retail environments, subsequently influencing consumers' emotional and behavioral response. A 2(VMD image appropriateness: high vs. low) between-subjects factorial design experiment was conducted. Female college students(n=592) participated in the experiment. Using structural equation modeling the study found that the emotion-cognition model better explains the effect of VMD image appropriateness on consumers' emotional, cognitive, and behavioral responses.

양호교사의 성교육에 대한 태도 유형분석 : Q방법론적 접근 (An Analysis of School Health Nurses' Attitude Toward Sex Education: A Q-methodological Approach)

  • This study was designed to identify school health nurses' attitudes toward sex education through a Q-methodological approach. Research was done from Apr. 3, 1995 to Oct. 15, 1995. A final Q-sample was selected to 37 statements out of initial 128 statements after consultation from counselors, educators and writers related to sex education. The P -sample was consisted with 32 school health nurses in Chonbuk province. The collected data were analyzed by Quanal program on PC. The results of the study were as follows: School health nurses are categorized into 6 types. The first type, receiving type with cognition deficiency about general learning objectives of sex education were consisted with 4 subjects. The second type, valuing type with cognition deficiency about general learning objectives of sex education were consisted with 6 subjects. The third type, adopting behavior type with cognition deficiency about specific learning objectives of sex education were consisted with 5 subjects. The fourth type, receiving type with cognition deficiency about specific learning objectives of sex education were consisted with 5 subjects. The fifth type, making sense of information type with cognition deficiency about specific learning objectives of sex education were consisted with 5 subjects. The sixth type, adopting behavior type with cognition deficiency about general learning objectives of sex education were consisted with 7 subjects. As a result of this study, we may realize necessity of prepared sex educators. Sex the educators must be fully cognitive and affective toward sex education before practicing sex education.

Dual Effect of Price in E-Commerce Environment: Focusing on Trust and Distrust Building Processes

  • This study examines the dynamics of trust and distrust at different price levels. We first note that trust and distrust are built with cognitive and affective foundations, and price is viewed as a financial burden or product quality information. Then, we relate price changes to trust and distrust, and hypothesize their interactions: price as a quality cue will positively moderate the cognitive dimension of trust, whereas price as financial burden will negatively moderate the affective dimensions of trust and distrust. We surveyed 263 online mall shoppers in Korea. Among our eight hypotheses, six are fully supported and two are partially supported. The result shows that price perception interacts with both the cognitive and affective dimensions of trust and distrust, but its specific impacts are distinguished by the price perceptions, whether it is financial burden or product quality information.
