A main factor in the design of excavation in an urban area is the movements. The finite element method provides rational predictions of excavation behaviour, yet practical engineers may find difficulties in applying it to the actual field case. In this study, factors affecting the excavation behaviour are considered in details and the applicability of the finite element method to the actual field excavation cases is presented. Numerical examples are analyzed to provide results of parametric study on the affecting factors.

We note that the time of adolescents is very important time for obtaining informations about their jobs, exploring and making appropriate their career decision. In order to understand the career decision level of adolescents, we needed a study on effects of personal variables and family variables affecting the career decision level. For this, we provide direct, indirect and total effects of family variables and personal variables on the career decision level using the path analysis. Therefore, in this study, we give the real usefulness for making a different diagnosis and strategy solving some problems of career decision level.

This study focused on the temperament of infants and on maternal sensitivity in the investigation of the factors which affect infant-mother attachment. The 67 infant-mother pairs were divided into two groups on the basis of attachment security scores. Results showed a relationship between infant-mother attachment and temperament. There was also a relationship between maternal sensitivity and infant temperament. Factors most strongly affecting infant-mother attachment were infant's sociability, mother's emotion, and mother's satisfaction with the degree of infant's sociability.

This paper intends to search factor affecting the selection of financial products by analyzing whether there is difference in the preference of individual financial products whose recognition of importance in the property of financial products in different, depending on the property of investors. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to test the priority model. The study attempts to demonstrate how the model helps providing better decision choices in financial products.

To determine factors affecting scholarly web database service quality, this research is to investigate factors of web academic information service quality, and analyze how these factors influencing on web academic information service quality satisfactions. As a results, three dimensions were identified namely, information retrieval, ease of use and interaction. The scholarly web database service management has more critical problems than information service in these days. It indicates that the qualitative aspect is becoming more important than quantitative in web academic information service management.

Factors affecting filtration performance were investigated in a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) coupled with a submerged microfiltration module. Special bioreactors for aerobic and anoxic phases, respectively, were specifically designed in order to differentiate tile effect of Dissolved oxygen (DO) from that of mixing intensity on membrane filterability. DO concentration as well as mixing intensity proved to have a major influence on the membrane performance regardless of the SBR phase. A higher DO concentration resulted in a slower rise in TMP, corresponding to less membrane fouling.

The Purpose of this study was to review the theoretical background of burnout in child care teachers organization. Personal factors, Organizational factors, social factors and the factors affecting burnout I examined. The results of this study were as follows. First, Child care teachers need to be burnout to participate in Prevention programs. Second, child care teacher is required to ensure proper staffing, improved working environment through compliance with statutory working hours. Third, Various institutional arrangements required to control the variables affecting child care teachers. Fourth, Child care teacher's role to prevent excessive strategy is needed.

This paper presents a sliding mode observer (SMO) for reconstructing cyber attacks affecting a system. The system is first re-expressed such that its design freedom is easier to manipulate. The SMO is then used to reconstruct the cyber attack affecting the system. A simulation example is used to verify the performance of the SMO under two types of cyber attacks, and its results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed scheme.
