This paper proposes a quantitative approach to modeling the information processing of NPP operators. The aim of this work is to derive the amount of the information processed during a certain control task. The focus will be on i) developing a model for information processing of NPP operators and ii) quantifying the model. To resolve the problems of the previous approaches based on the information theory, i.e. the problems of single channel approaches, we primarily develop the information processing model having multiple stages, which contains information flows. Then the uncertainty of the information is quantified using the Conant’s model, 3 kind of information theory.

Liquid crystal (LC; E7 and/or ML-0249)-embedded, poly(vinylidenefluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVdF-co-HFP)-based, polymer electrolytes were prepared for use in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The electrolytes contained 1-methyl-3-propylimidazolium iodide (PMII), tetrabutylammonium iodide (TBAI), and iodine ($I_2$), which participate in the $I_3^-/I^-$ redox couple. The incorporation of photochemically stable PVdF-co-HFP in the DSSCs created a stable polymer electrolyte that resisted leakage and volatilization. DSSCs, with liquid crystal(LC)-embedded PVdF-co-HFP-based polymer electrolytes between the amphiphilic ruthenium dye N719 absorbed to the nanocrystalline $TiO_2$ photoanode and the Pt counter electrode, were fabricated. These DSSCs displayed enhanced redox couple reduction and reduced charge recombination in comparison to that fabricated from the conventional PVdF-co-HFP-based polymer electrolyte. The behavior of the polymer electrolyte was improved by the addition of optimized amounts of plasticizers, such as ethylene carbonate (EC) and propylene carbonate (PC). The significantly increased short-circuit current density ($J_{sc}$, $14.60\;mA/cm^2$) and open-circuit voltage ($V_{oc}$, 0.68 V) of these DSSCs led to a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 6.42% and a fill factor of 0.65 under a standard light intensity of $100\;mW/cm^2$ irradiation of AM 1.5 sunlight. A DSSC fabricated by using E7-embedded PVdF-co-HFP-based polymer electrolyte exhibited a maximum incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency (IPCE) of 50%.

We have studied the methods to connect homes with a digital network and apply home automation to education. We presented the possibility of integrated education where public education at school can be extended to home. The hardwares related with home automation are continuously in development. We have demonstrated the materials appropriate for the levels of individual students with home network information, and studied methods of education.

This paper highlights new IP network design and internetworking scenarios overlayed on the existing ATM technology network. It describes the proper network configurations to solve the IP/ATM internetworking probrems on the AISN(Advanced Information Superhighway Network). The paper outlines that IP network can be constructed on ATM backbone network. The paper looks at how new design technology is to enhance the AISN in Korea. The paper concludes that new IP network design is applied to AISN and there is enough possibility that AISN can be developed to efficient NGI(Next Generation Internet).

In this paper, we propose Class Diagram With Constraints (CDWC) as an object oriented modeling technique which makes validation possible in software development. CDWC is a simple and basic model for the object oriented analysis, and has a reasonable strictness for software developers. CDWC consists of class diagrams and constraints (invariant and pre/post conditions), using UML and a subset of OCL.. We introduce a method of validation of CDWC using the verification technique of algebraic formal specification language CafeOBJ.

Recent high profile attacks have brought the attention of governments, corporations, and the general public towards the dangers posed by Advanced Persistent Threats. This paper provides an analysis of the attack vectors employed by these actors by studying several recent attacks. We present recommendations on how to best defend against these threats by better classification of critical information infrastructure and assets, people protection, penetration tests, access control, security monitoring, and patch management.

이 논문에서는 새로운 약신호 검파 기법을 얻어, 그 기법과 국소 최적 검파 기법을 바탕으로 순차 검파 방식을 이끌어낸다. 먼저, 새로운 약신호 검파 기법을 제안하고, 흥미로운 문턱값 성질을 몇가지 밝힌다. 제안한 순차 검파 방식에서 쓰는 두 문턱값은 어떤 단계에 이르면 크기가 바뀌어, 결정을 무한히 미룰 때도 있는 순차 확률비 검파 방식이 지닌 문제점을 풀어준다.

In order to survive in today's competitive world, understanding the business process and how it works can be a key to success. Visualization improves understandability of business process for developers, and accompanies modeling. There are two modeling methods that are often used in the industry - standard BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) and UML activity diagram. This paper shows whether the activity graph of UML 2.0 draft can support business process modeling or not through comparing it with the BPMN features.

Software Architecture for any given software system is its skeletal framework. That is to say that if this framework does not properly support the system then it would cause more harm than good. Accordingly it is our opinion that choosing the right architecture to realize this framework is a crucial part in creating a successful system. This report discusses a comparative method which utilizes the steps in ATAM to realize architectural decisions and more importantly aide in architectural selection that promotes system success.
