For the purpose to increase productivities of livestock the present investigations were undertaken in order to clarify the clinical and suclinical status of Korean native cattle, dairy cattle(holstein) and Korean native goat. Blood, feces and urine samples were collected from 247 Korean native cattle(222 adult and 25 calf), 224 dairy cattle(211 adult and 13 calf) and 142 Korean native goat rearing at Chonbuk area and analyzed for clinical, serum chemical, hematological and urinary findings. In addition, we were examined the infection rate of theileriosis, internal parasite and ring worm. The mean value for each component was calculated by statistical analysis using Excel computer program. From these investigations the following results were obtained. The mean values for RBC, PCV and etc in 433 adult cow(Korean native cattle and dairy cattle) were similar with other reports. But the mean values for MCHC of all species were lower than normal. Adult Korean native cattle and adult dairy cattle which showed hematologically normal levels were only 9.01% and 9.48%, respectively. Abnormally high values for PCV, RBC and Hb were recorded in 7.66% of adult Korean native cattle, 20% of korean native calf, 15.38% of dairy calf and 13.36% of Korean native goat. Adult Korean native cattle and adult dairy cattle which showed hematologically anemia were 4.95% and 19.43% respectively, but Korean native calf and dairy calf showed normal. Adult Korean native cattle, adult dairy cattle, Korean native calf and dairy calf which showed normal serum protein level 84.0%, 90.8%, 50% and 44.4%, respectively. In present investigations, 50% of Korean native calf and 55.6% of dairy calf were decreased serum protein values under range. These abnormally decreased serum protein values mean the shortage of antibody, and these have a possibility to occurs to pneumonia and diarrhea. From these results, the economical loss caused by pneumonia was calculated as 124,038,833 won in the KNC and 742,703,430 won in the dairy calf rearing in Chonbuk area. Calculated economical loss caused by enteritis was 56,658,690 won in Korean native cattle, 476,775,799 won in dairy calf, and the total loss amount of 533,434,488 won in Chonbuk area. Abnormally high values$(21.7{\pm}4.0mg/dl)$ for serum calcium were recorded 49.6% in dairy cattle. The mean values for serum total cholesterol were $170.8{\pm}99.8mg/dl$ in Korean native cattle, $196.0{\pm}40.6mg/dl$ in Korean native calf, $202.9{\pm}86.0mg/dl$ in adult dairy cattle and $289.4{\pm}97.5mg/dl$ in dairy calf. The infection rate of internal parsite were as follows; adult Korean native cattle: 21.2%, Korean native calf: 8.0%, adult dairy cattle: 67.8% and Korean native goat: 81.5%. The estimated economical loss caused by internal parasites infection were 1,120,855,837 won in Korean native calf, 4,994,959,405 won in adult Korean native cattle, 3,334,751,066 won in adult holstein, and the total loss amount to 9,450,566,308 won. The infection rate of theileriosis were 1.4% in Korean native cattle and 6.6% in dairy cattle. The presumed economical loss by T. sergenti infection were 154,408,482 won in Korean native cattle and 171,577,237 won in dairy cattle rearing at Chonbuk area. The infection rate of ringworm were 0.5% in Korean native cattle, 0.9% adult dairy cattle and 7.7% in dairy calf. The presumed economical loss by dermatomycophyte were 12,061,532 won in Korean native cattle, 16,895,403 won in dairy cattle, and the total estimated loss amount to 28,955,935 won a year in Chonbuk area.

This study is prepared to provide fundamental data for constructing learning system to reinforce learning facilitation and improve learning effect for adult college students by testing the medium effect of learning motivation in the relation of social support, service quality of university education, and learning engagement. For this objective, A survey was conducted with 573 adult college students attending 2-to-3-year colleges and universities located in Daegu metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do. The analyzed research results are as follows. First, learning motivation had partial medium effect in the relation of social support and learning engagement. Second, learning motivation seemed to have complete medium effect in the relation of service quality of university education and learning engagement. The above research results suggest that continuous development and efforts are needed to establish various support systems and improve educational services in order to increase adult college students' immersion in learning.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the views on utilizing ICT material, especially the reasons for ICT material choice. Numerous recent studies have demonstrated increased use of electronic devices including smartphones in educational settings. But the reasons for using it as a learning tool have not been relatively researched from the point of view of pre-service teachers. Therefore, this study analyzed the pre-service teachers' thinking about utilizing ICT material and their learning experience. In that regard, data was collected in various ways such as surveys, interviews, and brief writings of participants. According to the study result, pre-service teachers were motivated in utilizing ICT material rather than text material. That is the reason why, as adult learners, especially pre-service teachers could be more motivated in self-directed learning environments. This study will be useful in considering ideas for the instructional design of pre-service teachers.

During the last decades, Readers' Advisory Service has become one of the most interesting and demanding function in many Public libraries of the western world. This paper Introduces the background theory of Readers' Advisory Service and the basic skills for readers' advisors. Library managers and library schools can get ideas from this paper in planning reading programs for adult library users and training programs for library staff and LIS students.

Readers' advisory service has become more important for public libraries as one of the critical service areas in terms of supporting libraries patrons' reading. This study aims to discover major types of readers' advisory services provided through public libraries' web sites. Contents of 200 public libraries' home pages in U. S. were analyzed and nine areas were identified as the major readers' advisory areas. This study also proves that American public libraries are diversly communicating with their patrons and providing user-oriented advisory services. The identified key factors of readers' advisory services will help for Korean public libraries to develope their own services.

This study was focused on experience of adult offsprings with disabled parents, and thereby on the evaluation of their family-of-origin environment. Adult offsprings's experience and understanding of the evolution in terms of subjects were explored. This study reviewed the effects of the family-of-origin environment and the analysis of data based on qualititative research depending on Saiki Greig Hill theory. The summary of this is as follows; perception and attitudes about disables parents tended to strengthen the steps 'process of recognition about disabled parents', 'process of escape about disabled parents',' precess of integration about disabled parents'. The alternative programs of the strengthen the steps 'process of integration about disabled parents' should be developed government policy support according to age group, ADL(activity of daily life) support according to disability status and emotional support with a focused on health family support center, public health center, religion meeting. This study was to provided basic material needed to do further research on this issue by identifying the effects of family-of-origin environment on adult offsprings with disabled parents.

This study examined the effects of pre-service early childhood teacher's adult-attachment, mental-health and resilience on smartphone addiction tendency. The participants were 283 pre-service early childhood teachers in Seoul and Kyungkido. Collected self-report data were analyzed by correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, there were 228 people (81 percent) in the regular user group and 55 people(19 percent) in the risk user group. Second, there were significant differences in adult-attachment, mental-health and resilience according to smartphone addiction tendency. Third, anxiety(adult-attachment) and mental-health had a positive correlation, and control and affirmation(resilience) had a negative correlation with pre-service early childhood teachers' smartphone addiction tendency. Fourth, all variables influenced pre-service early childhood teachers' smartphone addiction tendency. This study provides practical suggestions for smartphone usage and preventive measures for pre-service early childhood teachers' smartphone addiction.

The purpose of this study was to propose the Guidelines for the Program and Space of Adult Day Care Center. Recently the Adult Day Care Center is extremely on demand caused by the increasing population of the elderly. In order to provide the affordable and efficient rehabilitation program the architectural setting should be turned to that purpose. In particular, the adult day center program must have the programs for three kinds of the elderly in terms of health status, for example, Altzheimer's disease, paralysis, and sickly elderly. Therefore this study propose the way of planning the program and spaces to give the appropriate care for Adult Day Care Center.

Recently IPTV that transmits multimedia contents in real time through internet, cable TV net and satelite net gets the limelight. But IPTV service that gives service to users by various media has a problem of not supporting user certification fully. This paper suggests a certification model which prevents getting access permission of IPTV service by sending illegal certification information by adolescent through integrating mobile communication technique with RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) technique which is a key technique of Ubiquitous environment. This model performs the process of adult certification by keeping synchronization with user's certificaiton information that is saved in data-base of certification server and contents server after getting the system of class categorization in contents server to overcome disadvantage of simple adult certification system that is popular in the existing internet. Also, it adapts double hash chain technique not to down load illegally contents without the permission of manager even if an adolescent gets manager's approval key.

On a farm with 6 Korean beef cattle, an adult cow and a calf suddenly died while eating. At that time, hair was pressed upon the stanchion facilities where the adult cow was fed. Two dead cattle were submitted to the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency for disease diagnosis. Grossly, the mouth of the adult cow was full of feed that had been eaten before death, and there was a foamy fluid in the calf's trachea. Both hemorrhages were observed in the muscles, as well as in the internal organs such as the liver, lungs, and heart. Ruminal mucosa was easily peeled off. Histopathologically, both muscles and internal organs showed severe hemorrhages. In particular, affected muscles were shown segmental and band-like patterns of myonecrosis, disappeared some myocytes, burned hair follicles, and irregular surface of skin. Severe hemorrhages of muscles and internal organs were consistent with previous reports. Easily separated mucosa of rumen and muscle lesions were very characteristic. We determined electrocution according to the pathological findings, laboratory results, and traces of accidents. This report will help to understand of pathological lesions of electrocution. Furthermore, this case suggests that the electrical wires and devices must be installed and handled carefully during the construction of the cowsheds care.
